We had picked…read moreout carpet for our master bedroom based on the sample shown which we liked and because it was stated that it was in stock. The carpet was installed properly and the installer was very good. Unfortunately the carpet did not match the sample we had gotten from the store. It was not as plush as the sample and we felt that the issue needed to be addressed at the store. For what we paid, we did not feel it it was a good value. We returned to the store to express our concerns and showed the salesperson the difference between the sample and the carpet that was installed. She agreed and said she would let us know what they might do to compensate us for the lesser quality. We have not heard anything from the salesperson or Christoff and Sons. Apparently they are not at all concerned with customer satisfaction. We explained that we will be remodeling the the kitchen and replacing additional carpet but we certainly will not be using Christoff and Sons as they don't seem to care.

Due to their long history with suppliers, he was sure there would be no issue with the manufacturer and in short order replacement carpet was installed. We thought there would be months of back and forth with the manufacturer but no...Christoff came through for us with zero hassle. Such a pleasure to deal with the owner and his staff of professionals.

    Revised: ****After…read morespeaking with the Manager, he explained that the mechanic did not have authorization. I felt that the manager was professional and is going to take action to ensure that this does not happen to other clients.*** I took my truck into After Hours Auto Repair shop for an estimate and diagnostics.... I notice I am out of gas.. I just put almost a full tank of gas in the day before and only went 130 miles; I had reset my mileage. Now it reads 251!!! They put over 100 miles on my truck!!! I have taken my truck to After Hours Auto Repair a few times. I have been pleased with their work. I have recommended them to many friends and family. I dropped off my truck on Monday evening about 5ish. They asked if they could give me a call in the morning with their dianostic report. No problem. I get a call with the report in the morning as promised. I decide I need to wait on my repairs as it was more money and damage than I had anticipate. The passenger wheel was crocked, axle assembly, alignment was way off. etc all damaged. I start my truck and the Low fuel light is on. I had just put 3/4 of a tank of gas on Sunday evening and had reset my miles at the gas station. I drove 127 miles when I dropped it off to After Hours. My mileage was now 251 miles! I spoke with the mechanic. He drove it home to Battlecreek. I was aware a test drive was needed, BUT that my vehicle would be driven in that condition for the use of the mechanic, WITHOUT my knowledge or permission is simply UNACCEPTABLE. He is happy to take responsibility for it and reimburse me $30.00 in gas. He was very polite, but says they do this TYPE OF THING ALL THE TIME AND CUSTOMERS ARE AWARE OF IT. I was not handed a disclosure form or anything of the sort. Nor is this information posted in their establishment that I could readily see. Check your mileage and make sure you have no valuables as my GPS unit was found in the backseat, my console items strewn about my front seat, my water bottle spilt all over the passenger floorboard.... No idea how that happened.. They were great about looking into the matter, offering to review the tapes and polite. Too bad they didn't respect my property.

He sat me and my parents (they were loaning me a down payment) in his office where he proceeded to give us a great deal with a $1500 tradein value for my 2011 Ford Fusion. Fantastic. When he asked for the title for my Ford, I gave him what I THOUGHT was an acceptable document--the signed-over title of the Ford from my ex husband. I will admit guilt here--the title should have been fresh and in MY name, which I did not understand. But Matt said, "It's fine, we'll take care of it," and took the title and gave me the tradein value. In December, after I'd already driven the car back to Illinois with the promise "I'd receive plates in the mail," I received texts from Matt stating that they actually DID need a fresh title, so they'd fedEx the faulty title I'd given them back to me. Several weeks later, that title had not arrived. It had been lost with FedEx, and my ex had to order another one. At this point, the temp tags given by Art Moehn had expired. I called the dealership to ask for new ones and they refused for "legal reasons." I even offered to repay the tradein value of the Ford and start over, but was told that wasn't possible. My ex finally got the Ford's fresh registration and signed it over to the dealership. I FedExed those documents back (it was nearly March at this point). I received a text from Matt confirming that, yes, I should receive my plates in the mail, and they'll send a 60-day temp tag, which did arrive. The 2nd week of May, I still had not received my plates. I became concerned--my temp tags would expire May 29, and I'd booked a road trip through Canada (at a $2k expense) for which I'd need proper registration. So I contacted Matt (after several ignored previous attempts) on May 14, asking if he could check that all paperwork was in order. He assured me that it was, and said I just needed to wait. Several days passed with no update, so I reached out to both the Illinois and Michigan Secretaries of State. Neither had any information on my VIN. I spent over 4 hours on hold. I reached out to the leinholder, Capital One, who said, yes, there was a delay from Art Moehn on paperwork. Feeling like I might have found the issue, I contacted Matt. He proceeded to call me back and repeatedly state that he could not do anything, that the lender had nothing to do with the registration, that it "must suck" to be in my position, but there was absolutely nothing he could do because DealerDoc (who he'd FINALLY agreed to contact after several texts) hadn't "gotten back to him." He insisted that DealerDoc "doesn't make mistakes" (this did turn out to be true, but wait for the end). So I reached out to DealerDoc on May 23. They returned my call on May 27 to communicate the following: DealerDoc did not receive ANY transfer registration paperwork until May 15. One day AFTER I'd sent Matt the a text regarding checking on a 3-month-old registration paperwork submission. To reiterate--I now realized Matt hadn't submitted ANY paperwork until almost 3 months following his receipt of my valid title. Art Moehn's employee berated me, ignored me, and then gaslit me while covering up his own ineptitude. He had never submitted the paperwork until AFTER several emails and texts from me (nearly 3 months after I'd submitted valid documents) and lied through his teeth about making a mistake. While I now finally have my plates (nearly 7 months after sale, 3 months after submitting valid paperwork, and many hours wasted on hold), I cannot speak more poorly about Art Moehn's staff, at least with this particular employee. My Kia is fine, by the way. But don't trust financing, registration, or communication from this dealership.

Stay away from Art Moehn Chevrolet if you are looking for a used car…read more I purchased a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica from them and it has a blown head gasket and my mechanic said they had to have known it had this problem prior to them selling it to me because when they changed the oil it would have been white because of the coolant leaking into the piston chambers and mixing with the oil. I am a disabled senior citizen and my wife is also,She has to use an electric wheelchair and we can't afford to have this vehicle repaired. Also there were codes that had been archived in the computer that indicated misfires in cylinders 3 and 5 which would have shown that the engine had a problem with it when I purchased it.

Cons - breakdown in communication, awaited update from them and received cold calls.. seems like they didn't know what was going on and kept excusing themselves saying they are just so busy. Asking price for car was way too high, but never got far enough to speak on behalf of their negotiating. Pretty cold sales force. Not very friendly, too masculine and seemed old school. Poor sales skills and product knowledge. I would not buy a vehicle from here. And ultimately I did not.

Spoke with Bobby. Bobby took a video and sent it to my husband showing how great the Jeep looked. We put down the 500 dollar deposit to hold it until we could get there. My husband talked to Bobby about the Sunrider top this Jeep had and what a great feature it was. A couple hours later we received a call that the windshield had a crack...not a deal breaker for us. They were going to knock off some money and we would just get it replaced at a later date. Then we get there!!! We could tell immediately that this was a shady business with a bunch of scoundrels for salesman! The Jeep looked great, but when we asked where the Sunrider top was Bobby came up with more excuses and lies than you could imagine! We test drove the Jeep and when we got back Bobby was ready for us to purchase! We said sure after you get the Sunrider top for us! Many more excuses and telling us it didn't come with one! When it was seen clearly in the back seat of the Jeep in their advertisement! He said it must be in the detail shop and left to go "look". He came back with a full soft top in a box shoved in the back end of the Jeep! Not at all what was included! The manager then came out and said there wasn't a Sunrider top advertised at all with this Jeep! The picture was deleted at that point. But it clearly states it in the write up and details online!The manger said no no....that's just a generic google advertisement! What a complete joke this place is!!! We got our deposit back and told them what a bunch of filthy dirt balls they are!! What an absolute disappointment!!
