My washer died and Allstate (Who I had my extended warranty with) sent out AAR. It took over a week after my initial call for AAR to send someone, and his name was John. He was rude but I was hopeful that my washer could be fixed so I said nothing to him regarding his rudeness. He said after being here well over a half an hour that he had to order some parts and that it could be a week or two before they got delivered. I remained calm and said okay. Several days later I got a notice that the parts were on the way and for me to not open them. I was then told when AAR would be back out for the "supposed" fix. Same man John came back out and he was STILL having an issue with me as he yelled at me and was still nasty. He came in and proceeded to attempt to install the 2 parts, I guess. I do not hover over repair people. After about 20 minutes or so he came back out and told me that the parts that HE ORDERED will not fix it. I remained calm but told him that I've been without a washer for 3 weeks now and that had he done his job the week before we could have had this settled. He was nothing short of an unprofessional nightmare and I'm sorry that AAR finds it necessary to try to make excuses for him and keeps an incompetent employee like that in their company. This is a worthless repair service. I have a home warranty thought Choice warranty and I had a problem with my Jenn air stove. Choice sent and repair out. He said that the control board and the control panel were bad. He said he couldn't find a model number on the stove and that he would see if he could find it. He said he couldn't find it so he couldn't get the part. I looked up Sears website because that's where we bought from. I chatted online with a rep. and he gave me the model number and serial number in about 3 min. I called AAR and gave them the information. The service manager said they would look it up and get back to me. They never did so I called them and the office manager said that they could get the part. They didn't call me back again, so I called them back. The office manager said they call Jenn air for parts and that they could no longer get the control panel and told Choice warranty that they would need to replace the Jenn Air stove. Choice warranty said that they would pay me $800 for a no stove. The stove cost $3500 dollars. I called sears back and they did say that the control panel was not available thought Jenn Air but there was another company that they could get from. I called AAR back and gave them the parts numbers, but they had already told Choice warranty that they needed to replace the stove. If the office manager wasn't so LAZY maybe she could have called sears or even another company for parts. This is a WORHTLESS repair company and the office manager is a WORTHLESS LAZY. I called them back and asked to talk to the owner but she won't tell me who it was or gave me their phone number. She is Rude and no help. She told their job was just to diagnose the problem and that is all that they are responsible off. So, I get the $800 from Choice home warranty and will have sear come out that make the repair. DON'T use this repair company. You can see that they only have 2 stars but that's who Choice warranty sent. So now it my problem and AAR won't refund my money. I would never recommend these people. I paid $125 for a service call. the problem was the heating element. I can buy the heating element online for $30. in addition to the $125 service call they wanted to charge me an additional $180 for parts and labor. what a rip-off. If I could give a 0 that would be appropriate for them. They are the worst appliance repair company out there and anybody that gives them a good rating has probably been paid to do so. I have waited for seven weeks for them to repair our refrigerator and once again they cancelled out the appointment. Whirlpool uses these incompetent and rude people as their so called expert technicians. They have now canceled out twice and all I have to show for it is a bunch of parts to be installed and a dead refrigerator. Stay AWAY from these people at all costs. My insurance company select home warranty offered me AAR services and said they scheduled an appointment for the next week i thought that was unacceptable because my dryer has been broken for over a month now so i decided to give them a call myself and AAR services was there the same week and fixed my problem in only 2 appointments first the diagnosis John was very punctual and came in the time frame between 10-1pm. Run Away Our home warranty company linked us to this company to provide repair to our kitchen refrigerator. We waited weeks for the technician to schedule an appointment, which required us constantly contacting them for answers. Finally we're able to confirm an appointment window time of 9am-1pm, toile off work for timeframe with no technician arriving. Called company after no one arrived and was advised the appointment was cancelled. ZERO STARS!! wow. This company is appears to be running some sort of scam. They were sent to us by Whirlpool to fix our washer we hadn't even had for a year yet. We had 2 different confirmation messages with THIS company, confirming the appointment with them. Didn't show up both 2 separate scheduled times, so I missed work for nothing, had no text or call to let me know they weren't coming simply a NO SHOW both times. Every time we called to report it, they'd give us some lie. Both missed appointments were scheduled from 8AM-12pm and when they finally did show it was because we had to call to complain again, he showed at 5:30PM. Immediately went to use our restroom which it's no problem if you're here for hours, that's completely understandable, but first thing you ask when you're already late, seriously? Said he'd order a part and be back. Took over a week to come back, said he'd have to reorder the same part bc the first one didn't work .. hmm made no sense to me. didn't see him for 4 whole weeks. finally contacted Whirlpool to report it, they said it had been reported as fixed by the company. We waited 4 weeks and heard nothing and the whole time they reported it as fixed and were never planning to come back! They told Whirlpool that they fixed it the 4 weeks ago, so if it was broken again that we broke it (and our warranty ran out during that time- how convenient). We've been going to the laundromat for 9 weeks. meanwhile they were paid for a job they didn't do. Whirlpool luckily extended our warranty due to it all, but absolutely disgusting this place is even in business. **Whirlpool sent us a completely different company to fix it this morning and he immediately saw a wire was loose. If there was a negative star provided that would be my initial impression of this company. I received an email from this company stating they would have a technician at my home between 3-5 Friday July 26th to repair my cooktop. I work nights, so I got up early to await this technician to arrive, 5pm came without the technician. I called the number provided in the email as spoke with John, a man clearly wanting to have his voice heard over mine. He was rude, interruptive and NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED. He advised me that he never received a call confirming this time. I communicated with him in regards to the email I received and this was believed to be the time that a technician was available. When I called to check on the technician John informed me that since he never received a confirmation call from me, which was NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE IN THE EMAIL, that it was my fault that the technician was not there. John proceeded to attempt to talk over me while I was explaining the email I received, he became defensive and hung up on me. There were multiple back and forths just to SET UP A TIME TO CALL ME FOR SCHEDULING OF SERVICE.... NOT THE ACTUALLY SERVICE. Customer Service TOTALLY ESCAPES THIS COMPANY. Stay away... This company was selected by my home warranty company for a dish washer repair. The appointment was scheduled for a Wednesday between 8am-5pm. On that day, I called to ask if they could provide a more narrow time frame and learned they would not be able to come until Friday as the Warranty Company scheduled that appointment and the tech wasn't available. On Friday, the service tech, John, arrived to complete the repair. Or so I thought. He actually did not service it at all. After a very uncomfortable exchange, he told my husband the motor needed replaced and we would be contacted by the warranty company. John took the service call payment and left. I assumed he was calling the Warranty company to get an approval to complete the repair but he never came back. I called the cell number listed for John and he was incredibly rude and spoke over me. I asked for a status update and he said, "I already told your husband!" He spoke over me and had ZERO tolerance for speaking with me. When I asked if he would be coming back he said "No! You will hear from the Warranty Company." John shouted this at me and seemed offended or annoyed with me to be calling or asking. This was an usual practice as any other technician would have called the diagnosis in to the Warranty Company and FIXED the problem in the same visit, not just arrive, take a payment and leave with no plan or intention to return. I am incredibly disappointment with the exchange, the rude attitude of the technician, failure to complete the repair, and the disrespectful nature that John spoke to me. Horrible service. I would not refer anyone to use this company. I had someone come out on 5/18 to diagnose my refrigerator and told me what was wrong with it and was told I would receive a call to tell me the price which never happened. I had to call the company back to try to find out a price only to be told something completely different and that they didn't know what was wrong with my refrigerator until I shut it off for 24 hours which would have been nice to know the first time but was not told to me. Being that we could not do what they wanted at a drop of a hat and it took a couple days to shut off our refrigerator I spoke with a woman from the company and told her we would do it over the weekend and she stated they would call back Monday to be able to diagnose what was wrong based on shutting it off and I have yet to hear back. I called again today to ask for a refund since I no longer trust this company and the service manager tried to say they issued me a invoice for the problem even though they haven't even given me the problem so I definitely did not get an invoice so that is a lie. He did try to come out today but I no longer trust this company so he agreed to refund the money although he said it can take up to 2 weeks so I will update if that doesn't happen because to me it does seem like my money was taken and ran with. read more
