I started my treatment just recently and I can safely say this place provides exceptional service. Irina M's ability to connect and consult were integral for me. In little to NO time she exhibited efficiency and effectiveness to penetrate the target areas where I currently suffer a sport injury. Aside from that the place is great, very professional, soothing ambiance, soft easy listening music in the background, Irina truly caters to the needs of her clients to offer optimal service!!! Location is convenient since its right off the subway line and on the way back from work...location is key in my books!!!! But more than anything, their RMTs are top-notch: skilled, professional, pleasant. Special shoutout to Manuela, who has helped me deal with various aches and pains all these years. I think the best way to describe how Manuela treats you is she listens with her hands - she never just goes through the motions or just sticks to a checklist. While she asks you at the start where the problematic areas are, she is also always hyper-aware as she goes through the treatment on areas you never thought needed a bit more work. Would highly highly recommend Manuela and Bayview RMT.

I don't personally like that and I wish there was the option. I don't want to be doing a facial with my eyes closed and listening to someone getting massaged (Painful grunts) or hearing footsteps coming back and forth. My eyes are closed, I'm wearing a towel, it kinda puts you on edge when there's so many noises and people coming in and out of the treatment room. I'd have appreciated some privacy. Or atleast if it's a couples booking, then make sure staff know not to poke their head in to ask questions/ talk to your staff. It's honestly so distracting to a relaxing experience. Massage was good. My partner enjoyed it but I think he would not choose to come back to this location. I had a lovely facial but my goodness she was rough with the extractions. I like a light extraction, but she was quite rough. Still, it was effective and I liked her. She was really nice and gave me good advice for my skin - especially considering that I don't do facials regularly. I love that they also offer SPF treatment at the end so your fresh skin is protected on your way out the door. Booking here was not the easiest thing. It was a little difficult to understand all the pages on their website, but now that I've gone through the process - I can understand their packages better. I will say, I did not like speaking with the receptionist. She's quite forceful and talks over you a lot. I wanted the answer to one simple question and she went on for almost 7 minutes. I was quite frustrated and almost didn't book because I didn't enjoy the interaction with her. Given that I don't do massages/ facials regularly, I'll opt to try a new place each time unless I'm totally wow-ed by a location. They do have good reviews, so as always, try it for yourself!

We both have coverage through benefit plans and paid a $25 premium for an RMT massage. King Thai Massage did not mention that they would not be covered by SunLife and when my husband put the claim in through later that night it was rejected as King Thai Massage is a delisted provider. I am now out $60 on something I assumed would be 100% covered. I requested some accommodation by just refunding me the $25 RMT premium and the location refused. Needless to say I will never go back and I hope to warn others ahead of time as well.

The staff here take a lot of care to explain their work and keep everything meticulous. They dispose of all files after every use, making the price slightly slightly higher than places that reuse. I tried the full manicure and quickly facial. Bother we're relaxed, pampering experiences that left my winter battered skin looking fresh, clean and glowing. The faculty was a great value for the money, but involves a lot of product explanation. It's the trade-off when you get the quick facial, I suppose, no massage or spa music. The facial itself was amazing. My sensitive skin was cleaned, scrubbed and detoxes without any reaction or discomfort. I generally react to skin care products but found these products, though strong, were delicate to my sensitive skin and quite nourishing. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean, hygienic, and attentive manicure or facial. They did not try to up-sell me or surprise me with hidden costs, as many other spas do.
