My skin has cleared up from using their excellent Canadian products called Dr. Renaud. Along with waxing and facials, the spa does nail services too. I discovered her from Groupon for laser hair removal and glad I did. I don't like laser as my skin is super sensitive, but with a few more sessions left I didn't want it to go to waste. During the sessions, she is patient and will adjust the intensity accordingly, always checking to make sure the skin is okay even if I'm feeling it more personally. While we were chatting, she mentioned the Brazilian promo and ever since then, I haven't gone anywhere else. Her spa is small and clean. Going to a clean spa is so important to me. A cheap Brazilian is great, but not if I can contract something from someone else. Her weekday promos are quite reasonable and worth the feew extra dollars. I've only gone by appointment and highly recommend making an appointment if you can so you don't get turned away if she's with a client.

The space itself is small, but very nicely appointed and comfortable. The small waiting area is cozy and there is bottled water and tea available, as well as some nice products to browse. The treatment space is simple and hygienic, and her threading technique is very good - my brows look great! Also, she noted my super sensitive skin and suggested natural products that I could buy at a health food store, rather than trying to sell me on any of the products that are available for sale at the spa, which I appreciated. I googled the natural products that she recommended (diluted rose water as a toner and pure argan oil as a moisturizer), and there appears to be good evidence for both with respect to my skincare needs. All in all, a very positive experience and no high pressure sales tactics. Treatment pricing is a little on the high side, but no different than what I would pay at my other spas, one of which is in the area. I do plan to return for threading, and am now using the natural products, as well.

The nail trimming / cuticle shaping / hand care / etc are done with so much attention to detail and her polish application skills are top-notch :) I'm a perfectionist and you can imagine how happy I get when my nail colors always come out smooth and pretty.
