Their location is accessible (a 5 min walk from…read morethe Bayview TTC subway station), their hours are convenient (7 days a week, 8am-9pm), their booking system is user-friendly, and their treatment rooms are spacious, quiet and clean. But more than anything, their RMTs are top-notch: skilled, professional, pleasant. Special shoutout to Manuela, who has helped me deal with various aches and pains all these years. I think the best way to describe how Manuela treats you is she listens with her hands - she never just goes through the motions or just sticks to a checklist. While she asks you at the start where the problematic areas are, she is also always hyper-aware as she goes through the treatment on areas you never thought needed a bit more work. I have been coming here for one specific RMT since 2017 to present. After suffering silently with…read morethe improper RMT beds for the head area, I finally told reception that I cannot stand the little square stool used at the top of the bed when laying face down. (This square stool is not attached to the bed table) I explained that the 2 inch cushion on top of the metal alloy bars of the stool is too soft, and the metal always bangs my forehead, cheekbones and jawbone. I am tired of always re-adjusting the moving stool, and repeatedly moving the tiny cloth given to place on top of the cushion. Reception advised that they do have a few real massage beds with fixed head /face rest. I just never had it. I asked that my next appt be on a real bed and hope to see it. As an aside, I feel for all receptionists because they deal with some difficult customers. The ones at this spa are nice & helpful, I just wish that they would not be in such a hurry which raises the customers' stress level.

I don't want to be doing a facial with my eyes closed and listening to someone getting massaged (Painful grunts) or hearing footsteps coming back and forth. My eyes are closed, I'm wearing a towel, it kinda puts you on edge when there's so many noises and people coming in and out of the treatment room. I'd have appreciated some privacy. Or atleast if it's a couples booking, then make sure staff know not to poke their head in to ask questions/ talk to your staff. It's honestly so distracting to a relaxing experience. Massage was good. My partner enjoyed it but I think he would not choose to come back to this location. I had a lovely facial but my goodness she was rough with the extractions. I like a light extraction, but she was quite rough. Still, it was effective and I liked her. She was really nice and gave me good advice for my skin - especially considering that I don't do facials regularly. I love that they also offer SPF treatment at the end so your fresh skin is protected on your way out the door. Booking here was not the easiest thing. It was a little difficult to understand all the pages on their website, but now that I've gone through the process - I can understand their packages better. I will say, I did not like speaking with the receptionist. She's quite forceful and talks over you a lot. I wanted the answer to one simple question and she went on for almost 7 minutes. I was quite frustrated and almost didn't book because I didn't enjoy the interaction with her. Given that I don't do massages/ facials regularly, I'll opt to try a new place each time unless I'm totally wow-ed by a location. They do have good reviews, so as always, try it for yourself!
