Despite expressing these concerns and remaining overly optimistic that they would perform as they said they would, AAI continued to be unreliable. I got followed by this car because I went in the lane once he followed me all the way past the Altamont screamed, profanities, and nearly made me crash. He kept trying to ram his car into me. I called their office to report the vehicle. Nobody answered. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! they have tactic to steal money and not fulfill with their job!!! and now they can't even keep their composure while driving to a clients house how sad these men need to all be fired and they just need to start the business over at this point. it's unfortunate I have to write a bad review but I'm completely frustrated with this company. I've been a customer for over 15 years. Service has declined, especially in the last year. You're lucky to get someone to answer the phone or even return your phone call. Even luckier if a technician actually shows up on the scheduled date of service. I had AAI Pest Control for a long time. My 1st review was 2013. 5star. This year, 2022, I finally discontinued service after several years ( I think 4 or 5?) of poor service. The turnover on the technicians had become EXTREMELY HIGH. I only had sevice every other month and I Probably had 3 to 5 different techs per year for several years in row. No one seemed to have any notes from the previous tech, so it was constantly have to meet the new one and tell them what our issues were. There was also a big issue in the last couple years of just scheduling and showing up. They are suppose to give me a week's notice or 2. But lately they would either just show up ( which is a problem since gate is locked) or I would get less than 24 hours notice . Or ..even worse, we were scheduled for a service, I unlock the gate , and they never show up. I don't know if they changed ownership, but something definitely changed over the past 5 or so years as an excellent business went very down hill. too bad read more

We've been a Tracy customer of AAI for 30 yrs . For 25 yrs they provided consistent thorough service with very few technician changes. The last 5 yrs is a completely different story. New Technician would show up every other month. No more email reminding us of our service day, the bait traps not serviced, property not dewebbed. 10 minutes they were in and out. I'm told they were bought by Terminex 12/2019. Our property was due to be serviced over a week ago and no one has come. Time to move on. read more

I have used this company for many years. They have serviced for bugs. I started having a mouse/rat(?) problem last year. They encourage a program to stay on top of everything throughout the year. I found my first dead rodent and checked the traps. No bate and it occurred to me that I hadn't seen a tech all year. So...I've paid for a year and have empty traps and a pretty serious problem that needs to be repaired. I don't want rodents to get in between the walls, die, and smell. Monday asked for repair. "Oh it doesn't look like we've been out for a while." Now it's Friday before a long weekend." I don't have any apts left today." "I'll talk to the schedule supervisor and he'll call you." No call but two dead rodents in my pool. It's 2pm and no one is picking up the phone. Done...This shouldn't be so hard!!!!! read more

Horrible experience with AAI. They were supposed to come to my house today from 12-3. Once it was after 3:00 we called and they said the guy was running late and he would be here soon. Once it was 4:00 we called again and they told us the guy wouldn't be coming until the next day, ruining our plans for the day. I must say the technician was wonderful. As far as service, he was top notch. The office staff, however, was not. We had to get our house reinspected (per buyer request) when selling our house. My stepdad happened to be home babysitting my daughter while I was at work. The lady in the office told the technician that my stepdad had to pay for the service. Worried this would delay our move, he paid-not knowing what was going on. When I called to clear up the situation, the lady I spoke with was rude and did not listen to my concern. Instead, she blamed my real estate agent. When all was said and done, my stepdad was not charged, but they did charge my real estate agent who will get reimbursed by the seller, RATHER than charging or billing the seller that requested the service. I would never use or recommend this company based off the lack of customer service provided from the office staff. read more

AA1 used to be really good when I first hired them to service my property so i decided to let them service my second property where my parents live and that's when the problems begun. I have cameras all around my house and the technician always triggers them when he comes to service my property except for the last time that he said he came, I called to question and the office lady had service tech call me instead her. poor customer service in part. the good thing is that there's plenty of other companies to use.i am a business owner myself and to me my customers are my number one priority without them I would not have a business. if I was give a suggestion it would be save your money and go with a company who puts it's customers first. Nothing but problems! They were not clear on their billing practices or charges. Of the 5 times over the course of a year that they serviced us they only notified us of them coming 1 time. They ask if you are happy but never address the problems. Today I called to cancel and she told me that there was a problem with my card on file which was not true in fact I had my account pulled up and the charge from yesterday was already showing and she tried to tell me it didn't go through. This place has been one big eye roll after another. They seem nice but that's how they get you. They are hoping for complacent customers to not care. if i could do no stars, i would. they were great 2 years ago when i first bought my house. easy to schedule, easy to get a hold of. this time around? not so much. each time i call, i get the "we're experiencing an "unsually high call volume" message every 20 seconds. this past time, i was on the phone for 10 minutes before speaking to a human. (in their defense, they give me the option of leaving a voicemail.) last week, i called because we found 2 dead mice in our garage. someone came out thursday. my husband paid $175 for service, and was told that someone would call to schedule the vent replacement and follow ups. it's been a week, so i called them myself today. I asked why i hadn't been called, i was told that i was on the call list today because my appointment is TOMORROW. FRIDAY. between 1:00-3:00. i don't know about you, but gee, that's kind of short notice...especially for someone who is WORKING. so i voice my frustration to this supervisor. i cannot wrap my head around why they wouldn't call me to figure out when would be a good time to schedule based on OUR work schedule, seeing that my husband and I are the clients. turns out, 3 follow ups were already scheduled! without either of us knowing! and she tells me that most of the time there isn't a problem. well...maybe the people you are servicing are retired or don't have jobs then. i am off 1 afternoon a week...and my husband can go into work late in the mornings. but ALL of our follow ups were scheduled in the afternoon, but of course, not when i am available. i spent 30 minutes on the phone, to get times that still don't really work. i'm going to have to ask my mom to drive over to be there for these appointments. they tell me they are trying to "accommodate me." but really, they can't because i don't have all day saturday to sit around and wait for someone to come by. i'm resigned to deal with this because we already paid...but seriously? never again. read more

AAI is very responsive and professional. The three team members I've worked with provided thorough information and were readily available when needed. The technicians and inspectors went through every question I had an gave me a clear "why" to each of their answers. Additionally, the team had extensive knowledge on pests and they were up to date on the latest research findings and technology for pest control. When we ran into a termite problem, the front office was timely in responding to the selected solution and gave me clear directions for action. I've recommended AAI to my neighbors and would recommend them to anyone that has a need for pest control. read more

They did well for a while -- until my house got invaded by ants. Their reaction time was slow and then the guy handed me 3 ant bait cartridges and told me to put them wherever I thought would be best (hmmm). I thought that was his job. The ants kept coming so I called the office and was told the manager was off that day (Friday), but somebody could come out Monday. A weekend with ants in the pantry is not my idea of a good time. I called another company and a manager came out the same day. I cancelled AAI and the ants were gone the next day. Now I have a nice guy in a yellow truck with green lettering that takes care of the bugs AND the weeds. I am giving them 5 stars. read more

I always had my service done on fridays because it was my day off and I have dogs that I have to keep inside the house for the service. I was told that services are now scheduled according to the agents time schedule in that area. Well people! I'm the customer. They need to accommodate us not the other way around. The buyer hired AAI and Bill for a termite and home inspection. They found termites in the home. Bill took care of everything. Not only did they fix all that needed to be fixed on the report, the buyer wanted a few other items looked at and Bill had the contractors take care of those as well. We have had their service for so many years and things were fine. I don't know what's happened in the past 7 years, (especially the last 2 years)but they have gone down hill. They are terrible at getting back to you about anything. We pay for the best package and thought it would cover it all. Nope! We still have all the things running around. Cockroaches and black widows.. all kinds of bugs and even see mice outside still. We treat it ourselves and some how manage to make it better. But when I've asked them about treating it, they just do their quick spray and that's it. Hardly ever take webs down. Honestly, it's a poor job. My husband does a way better job. We are locked in for another few months. We will never use them again. Every question I ask, they never respond. They are terrible at communicating! Sad, bc we are loyal customers. My Dad used them for his businesses and gave them a lot of new customers. Do not get in a contract with them. read more

I used this company about 2 years ago, and they were great. But this is regards to customer service with their office. I relocated to another home and contacted them again to schedule an appointment; I checked there website for service areas and My area was definitely listed as part of Merced County. After questioning about getting service for my home, the lady who answered asked me to hold. Once she gets back on the line she said "I'm sorry we don't service that area, it's too far". I told her "But it's listed on your website as a service area". She said "I know but it's just too far". I asked for a closer location and she said "It's all the same office". My advice is for them to update their website and for anyone considering using them the service was great but be sure to call and not rely on their website to be accurate, unless you live in Salida or Tracy. read more

The technician explained the process and gave me several choices of pest control solutions for my home. I decided to place my property on a maintenance program. I happened to be home during the last scheduled visit and I met the technician who came to treat my home. He was very polite and thorough, was careful of what he sprayed and even picked up a few of my dogs toys that I missed before he sprayed my backyard! We used AAI for 7 years. We had a great tech Jeff, he was great always willing to help and come when we needed. As the years went on Jeff left and with him he took great service both with the techs and office. I would call to have follow up services and it would be days before they could come out and it was like I was putting them out to come back. I just canceled because I was told that a service would be a follow up not a monthly because of the lack of service I was getting. I received a bill called the office and they said no if it was a follow up he wouldn't have done as much as he did. They also told me they put me on special day because our gate wasn't open, well my gate wasn't open because I never knew when they were coming. Mind you I'm home all day unless I pick my kids up from school which I told them. The office staff was so rude I canceled and was told that I still owe even that I was told by the tech it was a follow up and if I don't pay I will be sent to collections. I guess with AAI, the customers are not right and no matter how long you have been with them they don't care. read more
