The furnishing of the interior and exterior of the store is quite retro and the feels of raw-ness, but its just the perfect balance. I typically purchase my afternoon coffee from another Gloria Jeans location everyday and frequented this location at least 3 times a week. One morning I stepped in this Gloria Jeans to deal with a work emergency (that was life or death) on the way to the Townhall trains station. Within 5 minutes, I was rudely told to leave the establishment because I had not purchased anything. I was not politely allowed to explain my situation and that I was planning to gladly purchase something on the way out, I was simply told to leave. Then I was accused of essentially free loading off their WIFI, which was untrue as I was not using their WIFI. I have since chosen to not purchase my coffee at this or any other Gloria Jean's locations again. I would suggest the Coffee Club or Starbucks near this location.

Parking is metered at this end of Parramatta but you can park a little further away and walk. The restaurant faces a courtyard and is next to another similar restaurant; healthy competition? Our waitress was on the ball. Whilst we were four adults on a voucher, we had two children in tow. She was mindful that a baby cino might need more than one marshmallow..we ended up with four. She was clear on what was and what wasn't included in the voucher and double checked on how we wanted our eggs & toast. As for the food....very good and generous portions. We did add to the meal with iced coffee and other drinks. The coffee was very good. The restaurant has seating inside and outside. It is quite open and there is plenty of room to park a stroller. There is also a bar that serves beer and wine. As it was breakfast we gave that a miss this time.

A few times I have driven past picnick view, looking lovingly upon the inside which is decorated like your great aunts lounge room and wondered if the campos sign is for real or just misleading. While I haven't as yet eaten here (the food looks and smells delicious) I'm currently up to my third coffee in one sitting. They make a divine soy latte. The staff are lovely and the coffee the best you'll get out west. It's a little bit of hipster in the western suburbs and I love it. Will come back on a weekend for breakfast & let you know how the food is!

(Side note: The Thai restaurant next door appears to be the same owner and is delicious. The Green Curry reminded me of the fresh markets in Thailand.)
