When I was sure that we had to first replace the whole septic system, I got quotes from many companies and building 5 offered the most competitive price. I was told by some company that cheap means less quality. Okay, please use your own judgement. I can only say they are not greedy company, or maybe they use fewer workers with less time but very efficient work. Maybe no long warranty is also a factor. So it depends on what you want. And during the work, they were very transparent with each process and helped me take pictures of every step they did. Josh and Alan were very patient in answering all my questions. They even change the main sewer line connected to the tank which is not in the scope of work. And the toilet already started to flow. Josh is super honest with the price, he took down the part that they didn't do at the end. They not only saved our pocket but also the time. They did a wonderful job within a day with cheapest price which some company has to finish in a week but charge triple. They truly care not just for the money. Thank you for everything. A lot of blessings for your business.

Our management company said 'A' company was coming out but never said what company. So, as we were nearing 2 weeks since being told, I began to get anxious. With no disrespect to other companies, we didn't want anyone else to service our septic. Rick & Corey have been taking care of our septic (property) with such perfection in our book. But on Christmas Eve mind you, in the pouring rain here pulls up Rick. Talk about dancing in the rain. We were so happy to see Rick (& sad at the same time because it was Christmas Eve & raining). Anyway, Rick was in & out with both ours & our neighbors. I keep saying it, these men do a job I can't imagine anyone doing since it is a 'sh*tty* job & through all weather & holidays. They are AMAZING & deserve top dollar. You can't go wrong with hiring Atlantis Septic for your plumbing services; they are Top Notch. Thank You again Rick for coming out in the rain & on Christmas Eve, you're like family. Hope your Christmas was happy & you were dry.

I hired this company for what was originally a laundry room plumbing alteration. The contractor I…read moredealt with throughout was Jose Romero. The job then escalated into a slab leak repair and a whole-house repipe, and despite paying $6,950, the work was never completed. Fair warning about how this operation works: Jose comes across as a genuinely friendly, likable guy. That is exactly what makes this situation so dangerous for homeowners. The friendliness is how the requests keep coming, a couple more days, a little more money for "parts," framing the work like he's doing you a personal favor, while the total climbs and nothing gets finished or documented. The pattern throughout the job: * The timeline kept extending. I was repeatedly told they needed "a couple more days," then more money, then permits, which were never actually pulled. No permits exist for the repipe work done at my home. * The majority of the hands-on work was not even performed by Jose himself. It was done by his daughter's 22-year-old boyfriend, who Jose said he was "training," while Jose sat in his truck and only came in when he "needed" to be there. So the work I paid nearly $7,000 for was largely performed by an unlicensed trainee with minimal supervision. * I asked multiple times for an invoice, receipt, or any documentation of parts and materials purchased. Every time, I was told "I'll get it to you." To this day, I have received nothing, not one receipt, for nearly $7,000 in payments. * Communication was deliberately steered toward phone calls. Requests to handle things in writing were avoided, which I now understand kept there from being a paper trail. * Payments for "parts" were requested along the way, always framed as though the work was being done as a personal favor to me, while the costs kept climbing. The licensing issue: Before the last payment, I asked Jose Romero directly, in person, whether he was licensed. He told me yes. Only after the work stalled did the real story come out: he does not personally hold a contractor's license. He operates under a friend's license through what he calls a "sister company," and says he's still in school to get his own license. In California, a contractor's license cannot be borrowed, shared, or used by an unlicensed person regardless of any business partnership. I confirmed with the CSLB that no valid license covers the person who actually performed and collected payment for this work. The money: After the job stalled, I had multiple licensed plumbers independently inspect the work. Every one of them estimated the actual value of the labor and materials at $500-$750 total. I paid $6,950. When I asked for an accounting of where the money went, none was ever provided, because no invoices or receipts exist. I've had to borrow money from family to hire a licensed, permitted plumber to redo the work correctly. Where things stand: I have filed/am filing a formal complaint with the California Contractors State License Board and am pursuing recovery of the funds, including through small claims court if necessary. Everything stated here is documented in text messages, Zelle payment records, and written assessments from licensed plumbers. My advice to anyone considering this "company": 1. Verify the license yourself at cslb.ca.gov, don't take anyone's word for it. Check that the license belongs to the actual person doing the work. 2. Get every quote, change, and payment in writing. Refuse to do business by phone call only. 3. Never pay more than California's legal down payment limit (10% or $1,000, whichever is less) before work

There was no answering service nor did I have to leave a message on voicemail. He was able to take a look at the problem same day. Eddie explained what the problem was and what the options were as to how to unclog the mainline. The cost was way more reasonable than what I was quoted by the previous plumber I had called. Communication and service went beyond my expectations with TP Rooter, so now we have ourselves a new and RELIABLE plumber. Thank you, Eddie.
