I have been a member of AAA for more than 13 years, purchasing both auto insurance and road side service. I had an unfavorable experience a couple of weeks back and am just now getting around to writing my review. I walked over to AAA during my lunch break, as I work very close by. I had my daughter meet me there since we had to renew her auto registration and I also had a couple of questions about coverage for my daughters vehicle as she is soon going out of state for school. I was VERY fortunate that when I walked in, there was absolutely no line for the Member Services counter (DMV). I was helped immediately. While having the registration renewal processed, I let the rep know that I also had additional questions that I wanted to speak with someone about. Once I finished my transaction, I reminded my rep about the additional questions I had. The rep asked me to sit and he would get someone to help me. While standing at the DMV counter, I could see agents (I assume they are agents) sitting at their desks, most had no customers with them, so I thought it would be very quick to get in, ask my questions and go about the rest of my day. This was not to be the case. As i sat in the waiting area, I could see that as each person came int he door, they were immediately connected with an agent. I could see the line begin to grow and I wondered if they'd forgotten about me. I walked to the gentleman who was a type of line monitor and let him know I had been waiting and I am wondering how long it will be. I let him know that I'd noticed that others that came in after me were already being helped.his response, "they are new". I was caught off guard by that response. I'd expected something like, "they had appointments" which would have made more sense to me. I told him that it wasn't fair that because I am already a member, I am shoved to the back of the line. He looked at me like I was an idiot and that just made my frustration grow. I decided to just call, ask my questions over the phone so I would not have to deal with this group. I got up and walked out and said I will just call in my questions. Is this the way the Brokaw Branch of AAA is trained treat long time members? When I got back to work, and feeling extra frustrated at the lack of service provided to me, I tired to call the AAA office to speak to someone to share my unfavorable experience. My frustration became even more elevated when I got a recording that ran me around in circles. It didn't help me much, that each time I called, that stupid recording kept saying, "Welcome to AAA, where our members come first", WHAT A JOKE! I was relieved when I finally tried calling the service department, and FINALLY got a live person who I let know that I wanted to speak with the branch manager. This gal was very nice and offered to transfer me, but all she did was transfer me back into that stupid recording! Not giving up, I was finally able to get through and make a contact with a live person! The person I ultimately spoke to said they were a supervisor and was nice enough to listen to my story, answer the questions I had (took less than 2 minutes) and provided me a direct phone number to contact in the future. Although I was relieved to finally be able to share my frustrating experience, I still felt slighted. I still felt as though I was given less than adequate service. But, at least I vented, shared my frustration. AAA has now become the butt of jokes in our office. My colleagues could see how upset I was on that day, heard my phone call attempts and conversation, and are now critical of AAA for not at least offering the promo gift as token item for the inconvenience and frustration caused to me that day. The lack of empathy for the bad experience caused by AAA staff has reached a little further than this customer. Their choice to make me a low priority on that day is evident to those around me and I am sure my story will be shared/thought of when considering insurance to purchase. read more

If you are coming here for auto or property insurance, make sure you make an appointment with Damon Yee first, because he is the only agent in this office that will provide decent service. BE AWARE, DON'T EVER GO TO ANY OF THE LADIES, they are just a joke, who don't know how to treat their customers properly. I have been here couple of times for my auto and home insurance. Only Damon treated me like I am a customer, other agents are either impolite, pushy, not knowledgeable. Especially, one named Melissa, really nasty woman, who tried to argue with me about my billing. They just waste your time and say lots of nonsense to you, rather than help you with your problem. No doubt why Damon has so many awards in his cube!! I would give this place 5 star for Damon's excellent service, and -5 star for other agents for their being rude and wasting my time. read more

No complaints from me. I was very pleasantly surprised about the great help I received here. I read some negative reviews, but I had a different experience. I came in to ask about an incomplete vehicle registration due to evidence of insurance. They took care of it for me and even gave me the registration sticker right then. Saved me a trip to the DMV! I then saw an agent about renters insurance. She was very friendly and walked me through the process very efficiently and was friendly throughout. Very happy with my first visit. Saved me a trip to the DMV, provided helpful service, and gave me a free tote bag! Definitely going back in the future. read more

We have used their DMV services here twice now to transfer ownership of cars from my husband and myself into our son's name and both times it has been a painless experience. We were helped both times by a young man named LJ who was super friendly and helpful and he was very patient with us and even helped us put the new registration tag on our rear license plate by loaning us a Philips screwdriver to loosen the license plate frame for us. I highly recommend using their DMV services for whatever you can and avoid the lines at the DMV. read more

AWESOME Service, I recently purchase a used vehicle and kept hesitating about going to DMV to switch title because of the long wait, I forgot AAA offered DMV services, finally came in to this locations I was in at 11:54am and came out with the vehicle now under my name at 12:03pm could not have gotten any better. I have my Auto and home insurance here and they are awesome, I have looked for better rates and they can't beat AAA.. As far as this location goes it is super clean, friendly staff, they offer mechanic services with Uber driver to take you back within a 5 mile radius, doesn't get any better than this. read more

We dropped off our mustang here and they fixed the brakes, put new brakes on and brake fluid. The did a full diagnostic they charged the battery and checked the electrical system. They had our car for a day and we picked up later. I think this place is pretty expensive because they charged us 1000 dollars. But the car now has a two year warranty which is good. read more

Had a bad experience for DMV service. I had renewed my vehicle registration online on DMV website and hadn't received the sticker. Went here to check about it and they said the address is not updated. I told them that I had updated the address long back and that it was DMV's fault that it still shows the old address. Person at the counter said he cannot waive $21 fees for replacement stickers and asked me to go to DMV office to protest. Even after showing him evidence that I had changed my address, he wasn't willing to waive the fees to get new stickers. I went to AAA office in Mountain View the very next day and they could waive $21 fees without even asking for any evidence that I had changed my vehicle address. read more

I'm glad this office opens on Saturday, because I have only one day off to finish to-do list. When I came in the morning around 9 AM, the line was already long with about 6 people in front of me, but shorten quickly by 3 open windows at the counter and 2 agents walking around to help. That's pretty nice. I was able to finish transfering car tittle, adding car and member to my plan, and having some changes in my plan in one day. All with the help of this office team, easpecially Grace and Destiney. During the time I was there, I noticed that even today was a busy weekend and they were short staff, all the team members still managed to help us with bright smile. I decided to bring two cars for oil changes. Upon arrival not only was I greeted with a smile but the nice woman at the counter was super friendly. She took my information and informed me how long it'll take. I came back around the time they told me they will be ready and sure enough they were. I had only come in for an oil change on two cars but I got more than I expected. They did a full courtesy inspection and informed me with what is in good condition and what might need attention in the future. She went down the sheet explaining to me in detail and answered all my questions/concerns. I was in awe. They have a customer for life and I will refer them to my family and peers. They do quality and honest work. More importantly they earned my trust and I know I can count on them for any of my car needs. read more

If I could give this location a negative star I would. I called the office number hoping I could save sometime to get my vehicle registration and skipping the line at DMV. I called about 1:03pm and was instructed to leave my name and phone number and someone will call me back. 3 hours later still no call. As I'm writing this review its been 27hours later and yet to receive my call back.. Well I finally went to the dmv office and luckily the wait was only 45min. I arrived mid morning on a Thursday. Only 4 people in line, and 3 clerks at the member service counter! I got my DMV registration in only 20 minutes! I love that there is easy access off Brokaw, and additional parking easily accessible behind the AAA Car Care. The lounge is always clean. Usually when it is busy, a greeter takes names & lists your need, then you can wait in comfortable chairs, with coffee, etc and the local newspaper ! Bravo AAA! Helen L. read more

They came to my house for mobile battery service within 40 minutes, had my battery tested and replaced for the same price as my other quotes and a longer warranty to boot! Unlike the DMV, quick and painless! I stopped in yesterday (Monday) around 2:30 to do a title transfer. When I walked in there was NO line, I did notice a short line pile up behind me while I was doing my transaction. I barely want to say anything but it was terrible customer service here with a lady name Grace! I went inside to add another vehicle in the plan and it was fine until she wanted to introduce me to get another membership card for my sister and she was really insisting on telling us to get another but I told her that I don't need it for now and she was saying a lot of scenarios that could happen if my sister doesn't have a card and constantly and completely implied that I am a TERRIBLE sister if I don't wanna pay $27 extra just for a card due to my sister safety for about 5 minutes.Yes , 5 minutes !! I have lived without second membership card for years and I didn't think I need one, and of course if I need one I can always go and add it on my plan easily. And she was really mean to me ! $27 doesn't define who I am, I have a choice to get it or not right!? ! She made me feel like if I don't get it I don't love my sister and don't care about her safety!! ? What???!!!! I guess I am thinking about moving to another insurance after years as I didn't get to be treated like that! I hope that she wont treat anyone like that again! read more

If I could give a zero star rating I would. Horrible service, super rude and inconsiderate. Their agents only cares about depriving their customers of their money. I had a case in 2015, it remained open till 2016 and they had lost the case. Which means we wasted our time and money invested in this insurance, and they are not honest with their words nor tries to help their customers. read more

How can I start this, first and foremost I been with AAA for the past 8+ years now and Gabe Sackman is my go to agent. Every year I bother Gabe with my insurance policy or when I adds or remove vehicles from my policy. I usually text Gabe and he is always very helpful and assists my needs really fast. I don't even have to go into the office to get things done. He does everything online and done, very convenient for me as he is very professional and gets things done fast. One of the best AAA office I have been to. The facility has an auto mechanic shop on site. Not only they can repair mechanical issues, they also do Oil changes, AC recharge and other routine maintenance. I had agent Grace in assisting me regarding my policy, which she helped me easily and professionally. The facility also has the basic DMV and travel services. Overall, this was the best office that made me happy to be a AAA member. read more
