They promote the $75 oil change with tire rotation, I paid $79.94, don't really know why the add on. It seems like a trustworthy place, other customers come in and seem they have had great experiences there. My experience tanked when I got into my car and there was a lot of dirt all over my break pedal and mat, my instant thought was that I just might have not noticed it before but then I realized the wet dirt on the break pedal drying up.

When I walked in to this office for a second…read moreopinion I was greeted with kindness and great customer service from the front desk and by Mr. Blake. Explained my tire pressure monitor issue as best as I could and he walked me out to my car to see it for himself. He did a courtesy walk around and quick inspection of my vehicle and instantly told me what was specifically wrong. Just off of the 15 minutes spent with him, he explained everything that he was doing, how it can be fixed, how much it would cost and that they could do the service right on the spot. I was blown away. Never in all of my 13 years of driving have I been assisted with great car maintenance customer service the way that I was at Billingsley Tire in those 15 minutes. I needed new tire pressure sensors for my vehicle which definitely was not what my initial tire and Auto shop told me needed to be done to fix the dash error that kept coming up. In the process of replacing those, Mr Blake rolled one of my tires in the waiting room to where I was sitting to physically show me the alignment and tread on my tire and how by the book this means it needs to be changed in the near future. He did not pressure me at all to buy a tire at that moment, just simply getting me as the customer to understand some things they look at in the tire and auto world and simply to give me a warning. That meant a lot to me as a woman who doesn't know cars at all. That was TOP TIER customer service. That is the reason why I will no longer be going to any Tire and Auto place but here in Lemoore at Billingsley Tire. Great staff and great help in my time of need on a late Friday afternoon. I can't say enough good things about these guys! I brought my truck in after constantly having…read moreproblems with my front differential. Every time I'd take it out to the dunes and drive through the sand to get my camper where I wanted it, the front differential would end up cracking or failing. Brett and Kev took the time to diagnose the real issue and came up with a permanent solution. They fabricated a custom bracket to reinforce the front differential, making it much stronger, and also re-geared both the front and rear differentials. I was honestly a little hesitant at first because I'd had so many failures in the past, but after taking it back out to the dunes and putting it through some hard driving in the sand, it performed flawlessly. The difference is incredible. My truck feels stronger, more capable, and gives me the confidence to drive it the way I always wanted to. I asked the employee and he said he didn't show any recommendations from previous visits. I said that's strange, but I would like the services. The employee must have been new because he kept having to ask for help. Finally another employee by the name of Trae showed up and took over and everything went smoothly and I was happy with my service. The other employee could not figure out anything. He needs serious training or needs to be in another line of work.

Roger (the "R" of R&J) was plenty nice to me until he figured out I'm no sucker. I may not know a cam shaft from a door knob but that doesn't mean I'm an idiot--actually, I might be, but that's not the point. Whatever I am, I am not a sucker (see above). The short story goes like this: My car broke. I got it towed to R&J, agreed to the diagnostic fee (~$70) and was told it may take a couple of days. Waited patiently w/o hearing from them for 2 days. Called in and they said it might be another couple of days to figure it out--no quote given. I go to pick up my car and Roacher tells me it's going to be ~$600. I tell him I don't have the $$ and I would never have ok'd a $600 repair job on a car worth about the same. He tells me I can pay half now and half when I get my next paycheck. I ask him if he thinks I would've ok'd a $1000 job on this car. He says "Probably not"--this is a direct quote and what it really says to me is: "I'm only charging you what I think I can get away with". I tell him $600 is the same thing to me as $1000 and all I consented to was the diagnosis fee of $70. This is where he becomes rude, raises his voice and says just pay me the $70 and get out of here. That's exactly what I did. Here's the kicker: I have another mechanic look at the car and he tells me they never even did the work they claimed!! It was a kill switch issue!! Maybe I am an idiot after all but I am NOT a sucker!! I wouldn't go back to this place if they were the only shop in town (and they're not btw)--I'd buy a friggin bicycle. You've now been warned. If you don't know cars don't go here. There's too many hard working *honest* mechanics to waste your time with these crooks!
