He went the extra mile checking the wiring for its entire length for possible breaks. He also got is an interim solution that reduced our misery due to heat and humidity significantly. Newman sent the same men out (the men who did the installation) and they discovered the problem. incorrect sized tubes were used, resulting in the leak. Two of the men apologized saying "we are better than this". When I called the Newman office, I spoke with the receptionist and asked what to do and was told to call my insurance. She said that Newman was not at fault and the men (who explained the error to me and apologized and admitted fault) had told her differently. I decided to let my insurance handle it, but Newman did not contribute any financial help and did not admit any error. To me that is UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL and UNFAIR to the customer who placed faith and MONEY in them. NEVER AGAIN.

They knew we were under contract to close on our house and I stressed the need for the work to be done prior to closing. After 3 weeks and only a week and a half before closing, I called concerned about the scheduling. I was told that I was now on a waiting list, that paying customers were taken care of first but if I wanted to pay overtime, I would be taken care of earlier. I explained that I was concerned about it not getting done in time, that I could loose the sale or worse be sued due to not doing what the contract stated, i.e. taking care of the recall. They then told me they wouldn't do the work and hung up on me. Be careful counting on them.

He had other jobs already scheduled but was able to come by on Sunday afternoon. (I had shut off everything I could think of so the leak had stopped. Was afraid it was the toilet by the kitchen.) He was able to arrive an hour earlier than he expected which was great. Long store short... he was able to diagnose the actual problem (wasn't the toilet) and the issue was resolved. Very professional, very knowledgeable, very personable. Nice guy and the cost was actually less than I expected for an emergency weekend plumbing call. Hope I never need a plumber again but I would definitely use Cox Plumbing again.
