Soooooo convenient!!! I am a member and needed to get a document notarized. I was in and out in 30 minutes with my notarized document. The fee they charged for the notary was super reasonable but because I'm a member I have no idea what they charge for non-members. While I was there many people came and went. Went to renew DMV registration (FYI: they only take cash or check for this). It was a short wait, the woman who assisted me was friendly and efficient, and it was a quick transaction. not even worth a star...avoid the AAA Teen Driving Program...you have to sign a contract and if you are not satisfied with the first class, too bad! ...they will not return all of your money...this should tell you that others have probably tried to cancel after the first class as well! read more

Okay, so this rating is technically for the online help received today. In addition to being a AAA member, I also use them for my auto and renters insurance. We had a bike stolen from our garage and had to file a claim. I called the main line and the case was transferred to an adjuster. The adjuster, Caesar Lima, called me back within two hours, took a report (we have records and receipts for everything), and said the check (minus deductible) is on the way. Granted that in a perfect world the bike wouldn't have gone missing in the first place- but thats why we have insurance, and I am SOOOOOOO thankful to Caesar for making the claim process so pain-free (losing the bike sucked enough)! read more

Sometimes I forget that most DMV stuff can be handled here. In and out in no time! Bob was very helpful in helping me do a title and registration transfer. There was a couple of issues that he highlighted for me on my DMV paperwork that needed attention with post-its. Got it done and came back and I was out in less than 10 minutes! very disappoint with AAA automobile club rental car service they got my information and they didn't call me back

Now Auto Club has long had a good reputation, perhaps they no longer care about it. Main RANT discovered Auto Club has double billed me, for mine and my daughters renewal. They cashed my check AND billed my credit card on May 10th 2017. When I called I got a very SMUG supervisor, who told me they would mail me a check on the 29th, or call my bank. Now I would instantly cancel my subscription, if I did not have a bad habit of locking my keys in my car, and my daughter car knowledge is, if it breaks, buy a new one. I would also mention I left my interior light on in my car and the battery went dead, so I called AAA. The guy came out, checked my battery and started my car. He told me I needed a new battery, at a very high price, that was over a year ago, battery is fine. I posted on Social Media and discovered "Double Billing" is quite common, if you checked automatic renewal and then they hold your money hostage OMG. Kevin J. Cuthbertson read more

So I had to register my car and get auto insurance today, and I wanted to avoid the dmv, so I was referred by a friend to come here. Got here around 9ish, spoke to the guy at the front desk, checked in and less than 10 minutes i was greeted by Ashley, HE setup my insurance and everything, then next was to register my car, went back outside then my named was called right away, Stephanie was great, she took care of me right away, I would highly recommend all of my friends to come here, they will take care of you, Clean and everyone is friendly read more

Not happy with AAA right now. Iv'e been a member for over 20 years and this morning our 2004 BMW had a electrical short and nothing was working. It was blocking two cars in our driveway. Our original idea was to put it in neutral and push it out of the way, but this car needs to be turned on in order to be put in neutral. So I called AAA to see if it could be towed out of our driveway so that we could move the cars it was blocking and then have the car put back in our driveway. AAA said no. They said it had to be towed to a mechanic. This was a real emergency for us, because we needed to get to work and the BMW was blocking the driveway. But AAA could care less. Now I need to reevaluate keeping my membership with an auto club that refused to help me in my time of need. read more

***UPDATE*** These people still dinged my account for insurance I don't have and bounced my bank account leading to 2 NSF fees. Called the manager and got zero response. This company is terrible*****The lack of service out of this branch is repulsive. David was my agent. They were all about answering their phones and emails when I was setting up my account but as soon as I wanted to make a change they disappeared. Multiple emails and voicemails unreturned for 30+ days. Seriously I called and emailed starting on 2/27 and didn't get any response until 4/2. I called to cancel and emailed to cancel yesterday and got no response and then low and behold they tried to charge my bank account for a policy I had asked to cancel. I ended up having to call the corporate office to have them cancel my policy. Then they had the audacity to try and charge me a $21 cancellation fee because it's in the contract. Why should I have to pay a fee to ended terrible service?!?!? Ended up having to go to a supervisor to get it cancelled without a fee. I've never been so disappointed in the service from a company. The agent David even knew that I had experience in the insurance industry and had worked for a competitor prior to coming to them. I don't know and I don't care what their issue is. I was able to get a new policy with GEICO immediately and they were very helpful. Bottom line wherever you get your insurance from, don't use this agency. They're terrible. read more

But when my family andI were broken down on the freeway we called in and they took forever to help rescue us. we were trapped in the car pool lane scared to death. The person on the phone was not very nice. she jumped straight to the next question instead of acknowledging me when i said i was afraid. It could have been better. read more

I had AAA years ago, but left because they're cheats! I was rear ended while sitting at a red light, but because they woman that CRASHED INTO MY CAR also had AAA, the insurance company automatically took her side over mine, claiming that I cut her off. Wow. Incredible. There was $5000 worth of damages to my car and AAA tried to tell me the car was already smashed in prior to accident. Seriously AAA? Needless to say, I immediately left AAA and never came back. I've been quite content with Farmers. read more

Went first thing on a weekday morning when they opened and there was already a small line for car registration renewal, but after less than 15 minutes in the queue I had my 2016 sticker. Trust me when I say this is WAY preferable than dealing with the line I saw at the local DMV on the way to AAA. Note that they only accept cash or checks for payment on registration renewals, so come prepared! read more

The towing service really sucks. My last two tows I waited 90 to 120 minutes for a tow truck to show up when over the phone they kept telling me 10 more minutes. Must be their standard answer. There are other avenues out there besides AAA for towing service and I encourage anyone to check them out. read more

When I first walked in the lady who greeted me was very nice and helpful and I got an immediate good feeling about the place. Then Mike helped me register and gave me the new plates for my Trans Am. First of all if you need roadside assistance, its great. Been a member for over 20 years. Insurance though. No way. Especially if the person who hits you has this coverage and you don't. My 72 year old father was hit by their insured the week of Christmas. He got a phone call this week just stating his car was a total loss. Strange Andres Navarro, the claims adjuster never called to speak to my dad regarding anything. He just stated to me now, with his attitude in place, that he left a voicemail. He hung up on me as well because I called him out on it, not following through with speaking to my dad. He said its not his job, he does the adjusting and off to total loss it goes. He also said I should have known it was going to be a total loss based on what type of car it was. Are you F*****G kidding me? I am supposed to know this? I asked him if he knew how to do my job, but for some reason he just kept repeating words like a telemarketer. WOW automobile club, you suck. I also asked him if this were his father or mother, or another older person would he just expect them to get all of this? He was so condescending, anyhow the bottom line is.. not for insurance pleeeeese... especially if you were hit by their insured. Wow.. today sucks.. I am so happy my dad is physically, but come on AAA. No, the supervisor has NOT called me back yet.. big surprise there. PS, not sure if he is this office, but I am guessing he is. Long waits (more than 1hr for notary service). Dirty waiting area. Poor customer service. I asked to speak to a manager and was eventually relayed to Rafael who was condescending and rude. I cancelled my membership but they refused to give me a full refund. I'm currently in the process of escalating the issue to their corporate office and am filing a complaint with California's notary public section. read more

I could not work for 3 days and was told they would reimburse my loss wages. it's been close to 4 weeks and nothing. you get excuses and they don't return your calls. filing a complaint with the state and sending a registered letter to the President of AAA. Triple A SUCKS!!! I went in and came out with what I thought was a good deal on auto insurance. First bill wasn't what I was told it would be, but I paid it on time. Second bill, I notice a $24.00 finance charge in addition to my monthly installment! What the hell is that for? This company is very dishonest and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I love the Auto Club. Lately, not so much. Been a member for 34+ yrs. I'm an AAA plus member. When did AAA become a shill mouthpiece for oil refineries and justifier of high gas prices? Media reports gas prices going up, and a AAA spokesperson shows up telling reporters that it's justified. Typical excuses are: summer blend (only really adds about $0.07/gal, not $0.30 to $0.50/gal., like we're used to paying), manufacturing shortage (loaded supertankers leaving L.A. harbor taking massive volumes of locally refined oil and gas product to Latin America and the Orient, to keep our local stock artificially low, and expensive), and the recent refinery explosion (Exxon-Mobil's Torrance hydrocracker's (which nearly caused a lethal toxin release disaster) rebuild is progressing slowly - the sooner they fix it, the less money they make from highly overpriced gasoline - besides, they sold the plant to a new owner - his problem now, etc.). Even the gas tax was reduced, but we didn't see a penny of reduction in the price of a gallon. Members should demand full disclosure from the Club, who should side with their membership, and not with their oil and gas contributors. Who's greasing the AAA's wheels? read more

If I could give this place a negative number I would. The store manager is useless and never returns calls. I cancelled my insurance with them because they keep raising our premium without notice. Every week I got letters say I had insurance and then I don't i was told to ignore the letters and it's okay as I ignored the letter as they ask the premium kept going up. Everyone gave us the round around and never helped us. I'm now in collections because of them. This place only cares about you until they reach their goal after they get paid you don't matter. I'm so mad that I tired contact this manager for over moths now. Collections just called me and is still trying to charge me 300 dollars and the only who can do anything is the manager and he can't help nor could Ana Peraz it's the worst experience I've ever had I really want to call the media and have them put on the news I know I'm not the only person they've scammed don't buy their insurance trust me don't you will regret it all. Beware they don't care about you or your families safety when selling you insurance it's an act these people are the worst. Great for DMV transactions! With 3 cars and a RV it is super convenient. After mailing a registration payment to the DMV a few years back and having them not post it to the registration then charging me a late fee even though the check cleared my bank a week prior, I will never mail anything to them again! Went in to AAA and they took care of that also! I know people who use them for travel, but I have found that if you have time to put in the effort, you can get a better if not the same deal on your own. The one time I did consult with them for cruise info, I found that they only want to work with certain cruise lines (probably get the best kick back from them). We like our current auto insurance and do not want to change that, so have not had any experience with the auto insurance side of the business. Like that they are open on Saturdays!
