Took my Subaru in to have oil change and diagnostic on the car as some warning lights were on. I was really surprised at how much the repairs were quoted. To make it worse just for the diagnostic they charged me over $400. They didn't fix anything just looked at things. Sounds very overpriced what happened to the days of looking at things and giving a fair estimate. 10/10 service! I ripped the undercarriage of my car nearly clean off, had my car towed in the evening and the next morning showed up right at opening. I was greeted very kindly, explained my options and provided a comfortable area to wait. They checked my car, explained again my options for parts & was actually able to somewhat repair the damage so that I could drive my vehicle while parts were being ordered. I scheduled a appointment online for 1:00PM because my car was over heating. I dropped it off on time. The service person told me they would run the diagnosis and let me know later on that day. He advised depending on the work it might not be ready until tomorrow. I understood. It took two days to call me back with the diagnosis, then another day to give me a price quote on the work. The diagnostic was $200 and after I authorized the work (three days later) they informed me I still have to pay for the diagnostic as well as the repairs. They gave me some story about Corporate shops don't waive the fee if doing repairs no more. The shop clearly overbook the services making the normal turnaround time take longer than normal. read more

For those for whom this is pertinent: I'm a 5'2" woman with a small voice (I look about 30ish). 2019 VW Jetta SEL Premium. These guys are wonderful. They treated me with respect from start to finish. They believed the things I said, they didn't make me feel small. Ok, we had a few minor glitches, which imo are easy to make, and not only did they not question me one bit when I pointed it out, they sorted it out IMMEDIATELY - and even went beyond. They spoke to every customer and employee with respect, knowledge, and kindness. I would've put this as a 0, because I've never felt this used before! Russel at the Meineke on S. Fort Apache was nice at first. I came in originally thinking my car needed coolant, only for them to tell me my radiator was leaking and my engine fan wasn't working. So I pay the price listed to me: $1,700. They called me in the morning, telling me they fixed the problems, but now, when they tested it, my water pump broke! They were going to charge me $1,900. I called my dealership, and they cover broken water pumps. I guess Russel assumed I was going to accept this job, because upon telling him I was going to decline the job, he told me he took off the bumper to my car. I told him the towing company was coming to pick up the car, and he told me he was going to put my bumper back on. The towing company called me to tell me that Meineke wouldn't release MY CAR to them. They made him wait 45 minutes. When I called to ask, he said that when I called, he was waiting for me to either accept or decline the offer, and had my bumper off. He said he was also "Charging up" my AC, which I didn't ask for. I was thinking he was putting the bumper back on when he's really stalling the tow guy! They canceled the job and charged me the stall fee and towing fee. All in all, a terrible experience. I'd rather have a full refund or a refund of the stand-by fee and towing fee, because it was so disrespectful to both me and the towing guy. read more

So I just got back Into town and I had to write this review about the extremely horrible experience I had at this office back in may. While waiting to get a international drivers permit (waited for over an hour when I was assured it would be 10-15 min) I was dumbfounded on how busy they were and how only certain individuals were working their tails off. Whoever the younger blonde girl (with the loud voice) is, she really needs to leave the guys alone in Auto. I don't know if she's dating one of the guys but she was there basically the whole hour that I was, distracting everyone in the auto department, simply because she couldn't stop complaining about her EV car. Not only was she a distraction to her coworkers but she was annoying to customers. I wanted to tell the manager (Nora I believe) but she was just so rude to everyone that needed help at the dmv kiosk that I decided not to. Nora couldn't hide her evil if her life depended on it. I didn't even get my permit there. I went else where just to get away from all the negative energy there. The AAA I remembered is clearly no more... At least not on south rainbow read more

Honestly for being a member for over 20 years I was very disappointed. When front desk called to give me a breakdown of the issues on my car it sounded very unprofessional at first. Thankfully the manager gave us more options and how to resolve this matter and really heard out our concerns. It can be very expensive here but after our experience we will be taking our services somewhere else. Very unfortunate. I was so happy to find this repair shop! The Ford dealership was so ridiculously expensive that I had to find a better option. I found this location via my AAA membership and saw they were highly rated. They performed a 60,000 mile maintenance service for 1/3 of the dealer's charge. I just went back to get my air conditioning fixed and had a great experience. Robert was very professional and explained everything to me clearly and let me know the costs involved. My air conditioning is working great and the cost was much less than the dealership! I really like these guys and recommend them highly. Also, as a woman, I felt like they were being straight-forward and honest with me; as you know, sometimes women can be taken advantage of by disreputable service centers. I trust them. My fifth wheel had some body damage and I went through my insurance to fix it. I ended up buying it back and I got a salvage title. Great I thought I was done but DMV ruined that idea. It came time to renew my registration and I had to get inspected first by a certified shop. I figured the rv shops in town would be able to do this but I was wrong , they don't. They don't have the right certifications. Called DMV for help and that was a waste of time. I called Hi Star on Hacienda and talked to Vegan , who is the manger, and I explained my scenario . He was very help full getting me the right form , because DMV misled me . Set up a time to come get the inspection and form filled out. Done and done. I took my car for service the first time explain to them what was going on a week later I get my car back. I'll look at the dashboard indicating brake lights on and then one of the tire was low so I want someone else and they put air in it, and the light went away so I'm waiting for almost 3 or four weeks and I called them. Explain my situation the lights on you tell me they're the best way to take care of that light to take it to Hyundai. I took it to Hyundai inspect the whole vehicle and they find a problem so triple AAA could not find a problem for Hyundai find a problem with the power they had to remove the ski plate and they found the problem triple AAA did not remove my ski plate if they did they would've saw the problem and fixed it there, but I had to pay out-of-pocket again to get it fixed Very disappointed so it's asking me how many starts where I give them I will have to select one of them so they can go ahead and forward this, but the start a while will give them zero because it was right there in the face. They never pull the skip plate. Two thumbs down. read more

Terrible service. Went in for a engine-check-light problem. It took them three tries @ $1500 to $1800 ea. before they finally got the problem fixed. Also had to pay for a rental car each time. Would not recommend, should have got straight to Ford! It would have been done right the first time and cheaper. read more

Took my vehicle here for an oil change. AAA has always been a reliable place and I have been a member for 12 plus years. My main concern was that after the oil change they recommended that we replace the cabin air filter. I had literally replaced it the day before service with a brand new filter. Deceptive Business Practices/Fraudulent-Unnecessary Auto Repairs & Services. From 7/9/21 to 8/20/21, AAA sold me diagnostic/repair services unrelated to problem (jerking/bucking/mass fuel consumption) that brought me back into AAA shop. Repairs and services performed within the aforementioned time frame included: replacement of all brake pads, backup light repair (electrical switch replaced in trans), lube/oil service, battery & fuses ck, trans serviced, front/back shocks replaced, AC system charge, front alignment, exhaust catalytic converter, exhaust oxygen sensor (exhaust oxygen sensor wire cut/reconnected by AAA) - per shop, due to frozen sensor, exhaust manifold gaskets, fuel filter, distributor cap, distributor rotor, spark plug wire set, spark plug, crankshaft position sensor, fuel filter replacement, detonation (knock) sensor, manifold gasket set - intake, coolant hose, tires balanced/rotated, and 3-step kit fuel system service. Through all of these services and repairs, the problem progressively got worst - so much so that it presented a huge accident waiting to happen - the car begun suddenly shutting off in midstream of driving right in the flow of traffic. The problem was never diagnosed/fixed by AAA Auto Repair Center (AAA owned). At one time, I was told to bring my car in at the time it was jerking and bucking. However, when I took the car in while the event was happening, I was rudely shunned/dismissed and told to bring it back another time because they were 1 man down. Wow, 2 of them were just sitting there doing nothing - twiddling their thumbs - the problem was in full engagement at the time!!! Information that both AAA Reps could have better explained to the mechanic. Nonetheless, with almost $4000 already paid in repairs to AAA and due to AAA's total disregard/dismissal of my plead and the gravity/unsafety of the situation, I was forced to go from shop to shop seeking an answer to my repair dilemma only to be taken by those shops as well. Finally, a friend, who was devastated by the situation, was able to diagnose the problem within 10 minutes (a $70 part - MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR - of which sat atop front of the engine!!!! I contacted AAA complaint line regarding complaint and was told the complaint would be forwarded to the shop manager and shop manager would contact me. AAA complaint line did not acknowledge any further follow-up to me by them. The shop manager, nor anyone else ever reached out to me. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! BOYCOTT ALL AAA SERVICES, ESPECIALLY THEIR AUTO REPAIR CENTERS AS WELL AS THEIR APPROVED AUTO REPAIR FACILITIES!!! THE MAJORITY OF THIS WORK WAS DONE AT THEIR CENTERS OR APPROVED AUTO REPAIR FACILITIES & AS A SENIOR CITIZEN, I HAVE OTHER PRODUCTS UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF AAA OF WHICH I MUST DENOUNCE!!!! Traveling from California our 2007 Ford overheated on the 4th of July and we were stranded. AAA towing saved us and I selected this location because AAA owned it. This facility is clean and extremely professional! Steve and the whole team worked with us since we had to leave the car and return home. The inspection was great and found things that I was aware of but had put off repairing, honest service for sure. I trusted them and had multiple things fixed, the car was "tested" by driving home in 113 desert heat- no problem!! Repairs: new fan, thermostat (broke in desert) Existing problems: rack and pinion replaced (leaking), front brakes (2mm of pads left), differential seal (leaking), these were things that I was aware of but stupidly delayed. I insure my house and car through AAA and rely on AAA roadside assistance. So I was happy to see a repair center start up near my home. I'm so disappointed. This place is a total dumpster fire. Don't take your car here. I made an appointment on Monday for 9am Tuesday. I brought my Toyota Tacoma truck in for service on Tuesday morning at 9:30 am. I rode my bicycle back home. I called them at 4pm to get the status of my truck. They did not even start on the truck and asked me if I could leave it overnight. What good is making an appointment if they don't keep it? I rode my bicycle back to AAA and picked up my truck. I brought it back on Wed morning at 8:30 am. They told me that they could not work on my truck at all on Wed. They told me to bring it back on Thursday. I made an appointment for 9am Tuesday and they won't work on my truck until Thursday? Who runs a business like that? Why accept an appointment that you can't keep? A huge waste of time. Go to Asian Imports if you have a Japanese truck. They do great work and are always on time. read more

They were absolutely amazing. We had our car completely out of order and they truly did everything in their power to help us. We were left pretty high and dry, and they arranged transport for us to the airport, offered extra help for us and were just overall very understanding and considerate. They spent the whole day looking for engines for us and had found one. I felt really lucky having such wonderful people there for us when we were at one of our lowest points. Awesome.
