Hardest working travel agents. Care so much about the members. No one can say anything other than this.

The car is registered in the bf's name, but he was not able to take any time off work to visit the DMV on a weekday.

Very disappointed in the service from the agency and State Farm in general. The agency was very…read morehelpful initially, took the time to review our current policies (home, 2 cars, golf cart and life). and make recommendations. THEN, after the dust settled, it went downhill. Some of this may be State Farm in General but it seems that no one is manning the store or training people at this agency. First, even though i was always paperless (at another State Farm agency), i got paper bills for all of our policies throughout a 3 1/2 year period with the Ford Agency. I called numerous times to get them to turn it off (both at the local office and through the 800 number)... it never worked. They had some lame excuse for why it continued to send bills. Funny, it never sent them when our policies were at our previous Orange County State Farm agency???? Customer service at the office is pretty hit or miss. Some days responsive, other days i felt like i was talking to a temp who knew nothing about insurance and just knew how to answer a phone The final straw was: we sold our home in August this year. I called to cancel that policy and get a new policy on the new home. I was told State Farm wasn't writing new home policies in CA. Regardless of whether we had home insurance with them for YEARS! This negative experience is all on State Farm but then the agency compounded the negative. We changed our home insurance to AAA and decided to see if bundling the cars in would make it cheaper. It lowered our total monthly rate about $40 a month (below State Farm's rates) so we decided to do it. After the 14 days waiting period for AAA, I called the Ford Agency a week ago to cancel our State Farm Policies on the cars. The woman that answered was not a name i recognized but i explained that we were bundling through AAA since State Farm wouldn't write our home policy. She said ok, she would cancel the policies (leaving the life policy) and we hung up. Today i got a 'billing notice' saying State Farm would be taking the FULL amount of the policy. I called the Ford Agency and was told "oh, it takes 10-14 days for the regional office to process (catchup) that. They'll take the money for the auto policies and then refund it." WTH? I wasn't told any of this when i called... she just said "OK" and hung up. If I'd known, i would have cancelled these prior to my AAA policy going into affect just because State Farm has a 2 week 'lag' time to 'catch up'.... GRRRRRRR. Now I'm double covered! After years (20+) with State Farm, we will never go back. Not only is State Farm going down the tubes but this Agency is not run professionally or with their customers in mind. Like so many things these days, it's on 'auto pilot' while the Agent collects his fees for return policies. No one is training customer service or really CARES about their customers... Do yourself a favor... call AAA. THEY still do customer service the right way. While sometimes their rates might be a bit more, it's well worth the positive customer experience. They know customer service inside and OUT and train their agents to give that in every instance!

I've been dealing with John for just over 9 years now and over 40 years with State Farm. Having had several agents as I've moved over the years I can honestly say John is an excellent agent. Never over selling but always keeping my assets in mind. Joseph S.
