I would not recommend this groomer. I have a 5 month corgi and explained to them that this would be his first time getting groomed. They told me they have groomers who can handle dog's first time getting groomed. Okay, perfect! So we set up an appointment. On the day of his appointment the groomer texted four minutes before the appointment was going to start that she would be late and she would be there an hour and forty five minutes later. Now I know things happen, but to text that four minutes before the appointment is to start is extremely unprofessional. This should have been our sign to cancel the appointment entirely. I let them know that would not be possible as we had plans for later that night. She then suggested the next day. I told her again no we wouldn't be able to because we had appointments the next day. Again this was probably the universe telling us to just cancel the appointment altogether. All of a sudden she says she can be here by 3:30 P.M. I asked if she really could be here by that time and she said yes so we said yes okay let's continue with the appointment. BIG MISTAKE. The groomer gets here and she acknowledges that this would be his first time getting groomed. We told her yes and let them know he does not like getting his nails cut, doesn't like the blow dryer, etc. She said ok. She asked us how we wanted to do his hair and we said we can go shorter and to make his nails as short as possible. An hour later she lets us know he's done. We go down to get him and he looks like a completely different dog. I'm shocked at how he looks. She basically shaved him down almost to the skin. I felt like she was also trying to guilt us because she also kept saying how he was nervous and scratched and bit her. But that's why you were warned from us and the appointment guide that this was his first grooming experience and that he would be nervous and take the proper precautions with him. I feel like that wasn't the case and she shaved him down and rushed through it. We couldn't really inspect him then and there because like I said we had plans for later that night. But looking at him the next day we noticed how uneven and how shocking this haircut really is. You can see the shaver marks and how uneven it is. He really looks like a different dog. I called today because this isn't right and spoke to a receptionist. She said did I want the head groomer to come and fix it? How can they fix it? He basically has no hair left if they tried to fix it. So she said they could offer a 20 percent off discount for our next service. I was honest and said that his hair is probably going to take a long time to grow back and I will never use them ever again. So we kinda sat in silence and I asked if there was an additional discount they could give. She told me that she would have to ask the head groomer and she would text me. After not hearing back from her I ended up calling back. She said that they could offer an addition 5 percent off. Whatever percentage off isn't enough. I don't think whoever the groomer was could handle first time grooming with puppies. And I do not think that's enough for what they put our dog through. I hope he isn't scarred for the rest of his life against getting groomed. Do not recommend this groomer at all. Try a different mobile grooming if you can. read more

If you're looking for a loving, attentive, and truly professional mobile groomer, AAA K-9 Mobile Grooming is the place. They've been taking care of our 17-year-old mini goldendoodle, Maddie, with such patience and kindness -- and that means the world to us. Sylvia has always been flexible with scheduling and so easy to work with. And Steve treats Maddie as if she were his own -- gentle, calm, and always mindful of her sensitivities, especially with noise from the dryer. Her grooming always comes out beautifully, without stress. The convenience of having this level of care right at our home is worth every penny. Highly recommend AAA K-9 Mobile Grooming for anyone who considers their dog part of the family. read more

Stephen came and groomed, our cavalier King Charles, and did such an amazing job. We wanted to have a summer cut, and he listened very well to what our needs were! What I loved most about it was how comfortable our dog Rex felt with him, was wagging his tail and didn't want him to leave when he was all done! Will definitely be seeing him again for our next trim! read more

We're sooooo lucky to have found Evelyn from AAA K-9 Mobile Grooming! We just moved to San Diego and she was recommended to me through a fellow-Shiba Inu owner on NextDoor (after trying two other local groomers who really didn't have experience with double-coated breeds). Evelyn did an incredible job and our two Shibas looked like true masterpieces when she was finished. Anyone who owns a double-coated breed knows how tough grooming can be, but they looked flawless - and there wasn't a trace of hair anywhere. It's been more than two weeks and their coats are still shiny and they look freshly groomed. Another plus: They instantly took to her warm personality. It is so clear she is a truly experienced and very talented groomer. Eleven stars!" read more

My dog was comfortable around the groomer, which she is not with everyone. He took his time with her, and the cut was adorable.

Such a convenient and high-quality mobile grooming service. AAA K-9 comes right to your home, which makes the whole experience so much easier and less stressful for both pets and owners. The groomers are professional, gentle, and clearly experienced--they take their time and treat each dog with care. My pet came back looking clean, well-groomed, and relaxed, which says a lot about how calm the process is. I also appreciated how organized and easy the scheduling was, plus the van setup is fully equipped and very clean. Everything feels safe and well-managed from start to finish. Overall, a reliable, stress-free grooming option with great results--definitely worth using again. read more

I have a sensitive border collie, and she's been groomed by Evelyn twice. I've been so pleased both times, Evelyn is kind, keeps me updated along the way, and gives my dog a ton of treats during her bath and blowout to help her thru what is a bit of a stressful situation! Evelyn even took a moment after the groom to give my daughter a tour of her grooming van - which is well equipped and clean. That extra kindness is what makes businesses stand out above others. Booking is easy, prices are appropriate, highly recommend! read more

Very responsive, scheduled within 48 hours and arrived on time. Michael, the groomer a.k.a. the agent was great.

I've been using AAA K-9 grooming for my Beagle for about a year and a half. He's nervous so we thought this would be better. Of course he dislikes it & barks during the grooming, but it still felt better than taking him somewhere & dropping him off. We tried to schedule an appointment last week & we were informed they would not accept him; he'd need to go to the vet for grooming services because the last groomer noted in his file that he "had a seizure during his last grooming appointment" This is news to me. She never said one word about a seizure. NOT ONE WORD. Both my husband & I greeted our dog at the door when he was done. She walked him up to my front door, never said one word about him having a seizure. All she said was he didn't like the blow dryer so he was still pretty wet. I find this INFURIATING! A seizure is a huge deal & I should've been told immediately, not months later when I try to schedule an appointment. I'd be extremely careful about using a grooming company that doesn't information you of something this huge. I'm extremely angry & disappointed. I would NEVER recommend this company. read more

My puppy is wiggly and nervous, I told groomer this, she said no problem. The groomer ended up cutting my puppy so badly she had to go to ER vet for stitches. The groomer lied and did not say she did it, tried to blame it on my other dog. The vet verified that the puppy was cut by groomer, when groomer called my vet. I WILL NEVER USE THIS MOBILE GROOMER AGAIN! read more

Buddy had his first ever grooming with Lily and she is amazing! She is friendly, good with directions, and works well within given timeframe with gentle care. The cut is really nice and clean, looks fresh and fluffy. He looks super happy coming back like a bundle of joy. She even gave him a little bandana which is the cutest thing ever!! I love that it's only $10 extra for the time saving convenience and that Buddy gets to be right close to home for peace and comfort. read more

10+ years we are loyal customers with 3 dogs ...now they just blew us off. Several times we have accepted a rescheduled appointment. Then this time ...Rescheduled, then outright canceled without a new date leaving us completely in the lurch. Very disappointed, very much wondering how a business can do that to such loyal customers. Shame on them. read more

I have been a loyal client of AAA Mobile Grooming for over 10 years, and I can recommend them no more highly. The groomer, Leo, is the best around. His work, skill, and attention to detail cannot be beat, and the care and affection that he gives my dog are outstanding. Leo is gentle, kind, and compassionate, and my dog adores him to bits. You can see that Leo actually cares about the animals he is bathing, and that level of personal care truly matters. One of the greatest aspects of mobile grooming is the convenience. Leo comes to my home, which is stress-free and time-saving on my end as far as taking my dog to and from a grooming parlor. My dog is groomed in her own safe space, which really minimizes the entire experience for her. AAA Mobile Grooming is also extremely price competitive. For all the experience on a high level, individualized service, and convenience, their fees are much more than reasonable and fair. It's clear that they care about their customers as well as their work. Owner Sylvia is a professional through and through. She is always going the extra mile with her customer service and is always prompt to reply, polite, and willing to accommodate. You can tell she is very passionate about her customers and is proud to run a business that offers great service. It's not every day you find a company that possesses skill, compassion, and excellent customer service like AAA Mobile Grooming. If you are looking for an experienced, professional, and empathetic groomer, you have found the best with AAA Mobile Grooming. Leo's talent, Sylvia's dedication to customer service, and the convenience of mobile grooming make this an upscale service I highly recommend for my dog. read more

Very happy. My 4 yo terrier mix is extremely jumpy, wasn't sure it could be done. Evelyn impressed me with her professionalism by texting me that she'd be a bit late, then again when she got close to my house. She was cheerful, understanding, and listened thoroughly as I explained my dog's temperament. Then we both walked my ugly, dirty, 31 lb. nervous terrier into her van which was sparkling clean and had no smells remaining from other wet dogs (which I had half expected), in order to make mine more comfortable to stay in the van with her. 90 minutes later, she came with Yuzu to ring my doorbell. The short full-body cut was exactly what I'd asked for. Very pleased. I've never used a mobile groomer before, but now that my wife and I are both in our late 70s, paying a bit more to avoid schlepping our dog back and forth - and knowing that she wouldn't be crammed into a little cage like most groomers do while your pet 'waits its turn', I plan on using AAA K-9 Mobile again! read more

I have 4 large dogs, mobile pet grooming is pretty much our only option. We finally stopped using Aussie Pet Mobile after too many incidents. I had been waiting for about 5 months for a spot to try these guys, and got lucky. Book a few months out. We knew upfront that one of our dogs, being 130 lbs, was too big for their equipment. So while they do take larger dogs (the rest of our dogs are 100 lbs, 85 lbs and 70 lbs) they don't take LARGE breeds. Your grate Dane won't be able to use these guys. Leila came to our home today. She is so sweet. You can genuinely tell she loves dogs and loves what she does. She did our 3 large dogs (one of which is very anxious) and took her time. All of our dogs look beautiful. Not a cut or razor burn or scratch in site (unfortunately all of which we've had many times with Aussie Pet Mobile). Best of all, they don't need any hookups. This was always a pain with the other guys getting the van in the right spot to connect to power and water line in our driveway. I will be having her come back every few months now! Price is a little bit higher than Aussie Pet Mobile but worth every penny. The only thing to note, the person you speak with in booking isn't super accommodating. When I first reached out last summer, he simply replied "we are booked until the end of the year." OK...can I book in 2021? Any options here? Happy to wait. I reached out January 1st again and was able to get in on January 28th. Just ask for when you can book even if they don't offer it and you'll be good! read more

Our mobile groomer we used for years recently retired. We looked for a bit for a good mobile groomer we could trust with our older girls. Our neighbors looked as well for one. They told us they found a good one and gave me one of their cards. We called them to give them a try. Johanna came to the door and the girls immediately were comfortable. She was great with them and honestly they looked better than they ever have. Johanna did a great job and we are glad to have found our new mobile groomer. read more
