Allstate had it listed on my app that my 6 months of Auto and 1 year of Renters Insurance was -NOT- due until 03/08/2021 for Auto Bill Pay...Last night they withdrew the funds. Had I of known that they were going to do this, I would have definitely made sure that the funds were available as I'm constantly moving money around from various accounts. When I contacted them this morning and provided them screenshots to show proof, they simply apologized, informed me that my insurance -WAS- currently due, and that they were uncertain why the app listed the date to be otherwise. I've had perfect insurance with them for close to 5 years without any issues with my annual 6 month payments (Full Coverage). They -ABSOLUTELY REFUSED- to cover any of the overdraft fees whatsoever, saying that while it was their fault, that they were choosing to not incur any liabilities! Are you freaking serious?!?! They then tried to pin the blame on me, stating that they tried calling me back in January and so forth. Yes, they did call and leave a voicemail back in January, and having upon listened to it, I immediately checked my Allstate App to see what my due date was so that I could be on top of everything as I was working 3rd shift and it was difficult for me to return their phone call during office hours. On the voicemail message that Allstate left, they NEVER gave me a due date, but rather said that my "Policy was coming up for reschedule" and to give them a call if I had further questions or needed to make any changes. I immediately canceled my insurance, and switched my plans over to GEICO. I'm now paying $75 cheaper for the same plans with the same premiums, and in December will even go down $200 less almost if I continue with my almost perfect driving record (one minor accident in 20 years)! You can definitely guarantee, that I will be doing every review possible from Google, Yelp, BBB, Etc., on Allstate about this absolute BS ; I understand that mistakes occur, but when you are truly responsible-- FULLY OWN IT AND CORRECT IT!! **At least my bank (3Rivers FCU) told me that they themselves will completely remove all fees as soon as Allstate has reimbursed the funds that were removed. If you click on the pictures, you will be able to see them in full view with actual dates and so forth*** FYI-- Erick Juarez was my agent, and honestly showed that he could care less, found the situation laughable, which during this Covid crisis, you would think that he would be more concerned about his customer base.

They didn't call. They didn't knock. They didn't ring the door bell. They just decided not to do the job. We are safe at home. Could you imagine being stuck on the road and an irresponsible, unprofessional, dishonest tow driver decides to accept your dispatch and then not show up? We were here all night with the light on. Yes, our street has a couple different names, but so do lots of other streets in Indiana. Anyone who claims they do not know our street is either too stupid or too new to Indiana to ever start a towing business or else they are full of B.S. which is what we told them. They didn't like our short but steep drive way so they went home and didn't cancel with us our insurance, and then when we called them they lied stupid lies. Do not trust them if you are stranded by the side of the road. Don't make a challenging situation harder but trusting jerks like these guys.

Doug from Smith Bros Towing arrived at where we were and the first thing he said was "Let's get you off this highway to somewhere safe" I knew he had a passion for his job at that moment. It is terrifying to be sitting in a truck on the side of a busy highway, especially with your family in your vehicle watching all the semis and cars fly by who do not move over for disabled vehicles. Doug towed us off the highway to a nearby parking lot, where we then realized we needed to get towed home, 200 plus miles away back to Illinois. Unfortunately, Doug did not have availability to tow the truck home for us (a 4-hour drive one way), however, he made numerous calls to get us connected with another company that would get our truck home safe, when he did not have to do that. Doug stayed with us until the new towing company arrived and even helped load our truck onto the new flatbed. He was supposed to fix or work on the (front and rear bumper, transmission, and electricals), but this dude ONLY fix the front and rear bumpers. This moron NEVER did an actual diagnosis on the engine because he told Geico that the undercarriage looked good. WTF.... That's not a diagnosis. Long story short, I fought for Geico to tow my vehicle to another transmission shop because it has a slipping transmission. 2. Geico had to pay almost $3,000 in parking lot fees. 3. This dude never diagnosed my entertainment system. 4. I had to pay $1,000 deductible for bumpers that were the least of my problems. This company was Horrible from the start.
