After many calls and efforts to acquire the plans from the architect, we received them and forwarded them to Michael. Then, we get an email from Susan today saying they are too busy to do the quote or pursue the project due to our timeline, which was just to start the project early next year. I think we dodged a bullet. I have no tolerance for people who give you the runaround and then don't follow through on their end. I run 2 businesses, and if I treated my clients like that, I would have been out of business a long time ago. If you don't have the time to do projects stop wasting potential clients time and just tell them up front that you aren't taking on any new projects.

They were very hard working, working through freezing weather in January. They made accommodations every day for my dogs to be able to get out of the back door and to the yard. This usually took extra time and I really appreciate them going the extra mile for me on that--I have two elderly beagles who would have been very upset to not be able to go outside. I missed the workers once they were finished! Originally, we just had a 12' x 20' concrete patio and we never spent time out there. I had an above ground pool put in and it took up a lot of the yard. My husband was concerned that by putting the deck 14 feet out plus another 2 feet for the step that it would take up even more. But, even he sees that having enough room on the deck makes it so that we spend more time out there. I spend whole days out there now. Bob knew just the right dimensions for it to be a great space. My backyard is now almost 500 sf of outdoor living! There is ample space for a table and chairs around it, an umbrella, pots and pots of flowers and plants. And it flows well into the rest of the yard. Before settling on Decks by all Means, I had a few other companies out but they couldn't see beyond just doing a cookie cutter deck. This is truly what I wanted. It was expensive but it was more than worth it!
