Eric gave me a few solutions, including maybe fixing the lock or just replacing it entirely. We decided to replace it (it has been fiddly for awhile now,). The deadbolt is an older model and had several coats of paint on it from previous owners. I was never given an estimate upon arrival of the locksmith - only the final value at the very end which was extremely high. In addition the locksmith seemed unfamiliar with this particular task and was not interested in hearing any additional information I attempted to offer. Once he was able to get the door open he also declined removing the remains of the deadbolt (which ended up getting completely drilled through) although this would have been relatively easy for him. Additionally he had a can of WD40 which was somehow punctured and sprayed everywhere inside of my house until we took the can and put it in a trash bag and ran outside of the house. Overall I would not recommend this service.

I was honestly afraid I wouldn't be able to get into my car, and to make things worse, the alarm kept going off while I was at the store. I called Elite Locksmith around 8:00 pm, and Nick showed up by 9:30 pm, which was impressive. He was very polite, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. Nick carved two brand-new keys and programmed both new remotes to my vehicle on the spot. Everything works perfectly now, and I finally have two fully functioning remotes. The price was much cheaper than going to the dealership, and the service was fast and stress-free. Nick helped me a lot and explained everything clearly. I'm extremely happy with the service and highly recommend Elite Locksmith if you ever need help with car keys or remotes.
