As a broke college student, I was very reluctant to pay for driving lessons, but figures in my life told me it was best to drive with an instructor because they understand how to teach you the fundamentals of not only passing the driving test, but also the life skill of driving. My instructor, David, aka "Mr. Adventure," was nothing other than amazing. He distinguished what my weak points were as a driver and helped me understand what I really needed to improve on so I wouldn't be a squirrel on the road. Not only did I pass my test first try with flying colors, but I also feel as though I really understand how to be on the road. Coming out of this experience, I got exactly what I was seeking. When Bob came to our house for my son's first lesson he was kind and knowledgeable, letting us know what to expect. My son had a great experience and at the end Bob spoke with us and gave us things to work on with him. All three lessons were amazing, he even gave us tips and tricks for the test and suggested which DMV to go to. Our son passed with flying colors and has a great driving record (he has been driving for 3 years). I am writing this a few years later because we moved away from Irvine and had to find another company for our daughter. Her experience was not as good and we did not feel that she was ready to be driving on her own even after that company signed off on it. I immediately called Varsity and they found her a time to work with Bob and we drove down to Irvine for it. In just two hours he taught her so much, he went through everything and corrected her previous instruction. She is a much more confident and safer driver because of him. The instructor goes over everything on screen so you can watch before you move forward with each step. I always think its going to be hard but honestly its just so fun and who cares if your cookies turn out perfect or not. Mine never do but I am always impressed with how well I actually do. Classes are $50 per person and are worth the memories you make. Plus the cookies are SO good!

I had joined her awhile back and despite having difficulties of my own, I had fun and the cookies are delicious. After the first experience I have returned on numerous other occasions and do feel I have progressed a bit with my decorating skills but all in all its about the fun. The cookies are always well themed and we enjoy eating these for several days afterward. It really doesn't matter what the end product looks like as long as you have fun creating your masterpiece.
