I needed a 8ftx6ft birthday backdrop to be done in two days. I submitted a project quote here on Yelp and I had several responses from other printing shops including RedDot Printing. I was told my backdrop couldn't be done in two days, I was told that my image's resolution was too small, and other printing shops never responded. Z from RedDot Printing responds within minutes. He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! His price was cheaper than I imagined especially since this was a last minute request. I knew that I placed this order last minute and I knew I was an amateur with the design, but Z made my vision into reality. Z, thank you so much for everything. Your work is impeccable! Initially i was impressed with the service i was getting, had a nice chat with Elium. He agreed to prioritize the DTF print i needed. I was stoked, hoping i found a good vendor close, well it won't be these guys. I sent a 400dpi transparent PNG, ready to go! Looks like the white underprint pulled a bit causing a drip outside of the graphic. Called them about it not about the money but on principle after i was told so proudly who they do work for and was absolutely shocked at how the conversation played out. I got played for pennies. Basically he couldn't get passed the idea of it being on his end, cop-out statement. "I didn't create the file" so regardless of how the file was i sent this guy his arrogance was going to be in the way, he took zero responsibility for what was clearly a printer malfunction. You can see by the photo the inconsistent white underprint and the registration that is off, POOP. I had run a bulk of the project with a company overseas and was not happy due to some minor banding slight registration issues. At the end of the conversation, he said he could see where the problem really was. I don't want to make this into a bigger deal than it is but i'd look for other options because if they drop the ball you're eating it. However, I need some 11x17 copies made, so here I am. Everything is ultra self-service now. You pay right at the copier. Nice. I brought by USB drive with me and saw the conveniently had plugs for USB A and C and sim cards. Perfect! There might be a way that I'm missing, but I wasn't sure which machines had 11x17 paper, so I took a guess. (I now have a feeling they all do.) I plug away and paying, and you have to enter an expected amount, so I put $10. It kind of kind a gas station preauthorizing a specific amount. I'm ready to go, plus in my USB drive, and.... nothing. I pull it out, plug in back in. Nothing. I even try entering upside down just to make sure, even though I knew it wouldn't fit, and didn't. Well crap. Now I'm worried my thumb drive didn't format properly at home. Ugh. Let try another machine. Same routine, $10 authorization, plugged in flash drive, and it WORKED! After saying a little thank you prayer. I printed my project. Beautiful. Everything looked great. The $10.00 authorization on my card is still pending, but the actual charge of $6.21 went through. I'm sure the $10 authorization will go away in a couple days. Except for the machine that wouldn't take my drive, everything was fine. The place is clean and parking is good. One tip, when leaving, exit so you're at the stop light, especially if you want to turn left. It's much easier.

A few months ago, they finally created a separate line for Amazon returns, which is nice for the occasional time I actually do want to buy something. Staples is not inexpensive, and I could probably find things on Amazon for less, but you pay for the convenience of being to able to actually see what you're buying. I purchased my last few chair mats here, as well as my printer paper, which I usually have delivered so I don't have to carry it or load it into my car. Their text message deals are actually pretty good if you pay attention. The people who work there are nice enough, though one guy swore they didn't make what I was looking for, even though I had bought one there years ago. I simply waited a couple of weeks, and it turns out it was just out of stock.

I visited the store to return an Amazon package and waited in the designated Amazon return line for…read moreapproximately 30 minutes. During that entire time, the return line barely moved while every customer who entered the purchase line was consistently served before those of us waiting to make returns. As both the purchase and return lines continued to grow, I asked the cashier if additional assistance could be called because it was clear that one employee could not keep up with the volume of customers. She informed me that she was the only employee available. While I understand that staffing shortages can happen and I appreciate that she was doing the best she could under the circumstances, the current system is clearly inefficient and unfair. After waiting for 30 minutes with no meaningful progress in the return line, I ultimately had no choice but to leave the store without even being able to return my package. It was extremely frustrating to spend that much time waiting only to walk away without accomplishing the reason I came to the store. Customers who have already been waiting in the Amazon return line should not continually lose priority to newly arriving customers in the purchase line. The current process results in excessive wait times for returns and creates a poor customer experience. I encourage Staples to review how this location manages checkout and Amazon returns. Whether that means scheduling additional staff during busy periods, providing dedicated coverage for Amazon returns when possible, or implementing a fairer queue management system, the current process is not working.
