I called AAA because my water softener was leaking water and the timer on my filter tank stopped working. They sent a guy out (very nice guy) and charged me $85 to tell me what I told them. Thanks! Then they charged me almost $400 to replace one valve and the timer which is almost triple for an entire new head/timing system. They also did not provide me an estimate over the phone when scheduling the service appointment which they are supposed to do according to the guy that came out. Immediately after the guy left, my timer on the brine tank stopped working which he said "now watch this one is going to stop working" and it did. How did he know? Magic! Pffft...I bought I new timer on Amazon for $34 (they charged me over $100) and replaced it myself. read more

I'm sorry for the previous owner, Dennis, the new AAA BestWater is not the same as what Dennie's had. There is poor customer service. I had leak fixed and charged $125+$20 for a valve replacement .I agreed with that point even though I have a lifetime warranty contract from Dennis, After 45 days, I encounter REGEN malfunction, normally , REGEN is once a month, I report that the setting could not be properly adjusted after the valve was changed, or the new type of valve was incompatible , They insisted on changing $125 again no matter what, even after I suggested a 50% off discount since I had service recently, but they refused, horrible , no after service. read more

Awesome company and product. I've loved our water softener and don't regret anything about it. My wife says it's done wonders for her hair, my daughter says it's like showering with lotion in the water, and I love how it seems to make my dishes cleaner. No joke, my dishwasher has never been happier. I'd recommend this company to anyone who is interested in getting a water softener or looking to have their existing system serviced. read more

Dennis and Suzy are two of the kindest people we have ever met. My husband and I tried everything for our son's eczema, and we finally came to the conclusion that we needed a water softener to help his skin heal. We shopped around quite a bit since a water softener wasn't exactly in our budget, but still wanted to invest in top notch quality and we couldn't watch our son continue to suffer without exhausting all efforts. We got even more than we could have asked for from Dennis and Suzy which brought so much relief mentally and financially. They gave us the very best service at an incredibly affordable price, and their system is one of the leading competitors for quality and long lasting use. After the water softener was installed and the reverse-osmosis was setup, Dennis and Suzy have continued to ensure everything is running at peak performance. Dennis comes over as soon as he can whenever we are uncertain about maintenance with our system which has helped me so much being at home with two little ones. If you are shopping around for water softening companies, do yourself a favor and look no further!! ALSO. My son's skin is completely healed, my hair isn't yucky greasy like it used to be, and our clothes are finally getting soft again after being washed in hard water for so long. It's also extremely comforting to know that our drinking water is toxin free and nourishing. I'll include before and after pictures of my son's skin..I have no doubt that the water softened played a huge role in his healing. Without it, who knows where we would be in his healing process. read more

We looked into AAA BestWater several years go but put it off until this year. After 6 years, the effort to maintain the spotless glass and bath fixtures took a toll. Now that we are remodeling, we reconsidered the water softening system to protect our new investment. Suzy and Dennis were wonderful in coming to our house to provide us any new information but hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...The system is solid as it is and nothing really changed so my confidence in the system working to prevent damage to our new fixtures is still there. We bought the softener system and scheduled it for installation. On the day of installation, Dennis and his team showed up and just a couple hours later, water was restored. He said to give it several days but I almost immediately felt the difference in the first dishwashing cycle and the first shower. Maybe it's all in my head but I already feel much better!! I'll post an update in several weeks but I'll stand by their products and will refer them to all my buddies that have hard water issues. Thank you Dennis And Suzy, as well as their plumbing contractor Shawn from Prestige Plumbing. Great job team!!!! read more

Great Customer Service Suzy was very polite and was able to accommodate initial appointment. Shopped around and decided on AAA. Her husband and assistant (I forgot his name) arrived on time during installation. Plumbers work and tank install was done clean and neat. Recommend them for water softener services. You'll need to be flexible as installs are only done on certain days. read more

Great company and great service. Excellent communication and professionalism. Dennis and Tanner helped us to fix some issues with our water softener after we moved into our new house. Came back promptly after we discovered a minor issue. Very knowledgeable and explained how the system works. Highly recommend. Mahalo! read more

The new owners of AAA Bestwater bring plumbing expertise, knowledge of residential water treatment systems, and customer service to this business. Our water softener had stopped working so I used the Home Advisor app for service provider recommendations. Suzie contacted us and scheduled a same day visit from Dennis. Dennis came by and diagnosed the problem and an easy fix with a citric acid/water solution to be used in the regeneration cycle. It worked to clear debris and other chemical issues preventing efficient regeneration with sodium or potassium pellets. Dennis stopped by a week later to check the water softener solution. Thanks to the new owners, AAA Bestwater offers another excellent option for your water treatment and plumbing needs. Update, June 25,2017. Obtained estimate on replacing our water softener. Dennis answered all my questions and made himself available via phone if additional information was needed prior to an installation decision. After we decided to purchase, an installation date was scheduled. Dennis was on time and finished the job and reviewed the key features. Suzy called after a few days to check on our satisfaction and if all was working well. Their responsive customer service continues to be impressive. read more

Upon moving into my new home, I knew it was important to get a water softener installed. The community I live in is known for hard water... Upon referral from my family, I knew to call AAA Best Water. Setting up an appointment was easy. I contacted the company through email and they were quick to reply. We met in person a few days later and The couple running the business is very sweet. Suzy was very informative on the products and their services. She also informed me of various discounts I was eligible for. So I ended up getting my softener system for a good deal! Dennis and the plumber came a few days after Christmas and completed the installation in 45 min or so. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the generosity and professionalism that Suzy and Dennis have. I highly recommend others to use this company for their water softener, filtration or reverse osmosis needs. read more

I needed a Water System for my house so I called asking for a price? I was told they don't give prices over the phone so my e-mail was needed which I provided. I received a quote of $900- for a SQC-3 Water System which I found on the Internet for $450-. Needless to say I won't be doing any business with them. read more

I love having soft water! Our new kitchen and bathroom fixtures look nice and are easier to clean because we no longer have hard water. I don't miss scrubbing the hard water deposits off my glass shower doors. When doing home renovations so many people forget to upgrade their water. It makes such a big difference and does not cost that much to do. I find the staff at this company very personable and friendly. They have met my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering purchasing a water softener. read more

Dennis & Suzy were so helpful and professional. We initially inquired about a water softener, but after talking with them and learning more about what they offer, we decided that the whole home system, including the water softener, was the way to go. I LOVE my reverse osmosis faucet in my kitchen sink - its like having bottled water at my finger tips! We use water every day and we now know that the water in our home is clean and free of harmful elements! Thank you Dennis & Suzy! read more

Super company to do business with... Suzy and Dennis are TERRIFIC!!! Received in-home quote on the day I called. We decided have kitchen filtration system installed. Dennis arrived at the appointed time. It doesn't take up much room under our sink and we're so happy to have clean, filtered water. Am hopeful that our town home Association will approve a water softener installation. I would definitely recommend AAA BEST WATER!! read more

Shopped around for a water softener and RO for the house and Dennis and team gave me the best price for exactly what I wanted. A reliable long lasting basic system. A previous home builder told me when getting a water softener and RO system don't go with all the gimmicks. Just get the basic system. Great service and always on time. Super knowledgeable and the most important thing is that you can trust them, they will give you the best price, install, and customer service. They installed my system last year and on the dot, Dennis came out to check on the systems and do they yearly filter change and RO system cleaning and pressure charge. Their is no other choice on Oahu when getting your RO, water softener system installed! read more

Suzie and Dennis are the best! Very knowledgeable, friendly and reliable. Highly recommend ed! Every home needs a water filter. Stop wasting money on bottled water from questionable sources. read more

Had repairs done to my water softener system and was charged $95 for a service call fee in addition to the $60 per hour labor cost. Was told that they charge this fee to everyone in case they have to go to get parts for the repair. Even though he didn't need to get parts in my case I was still charged this fee. Seems excessive especially when they schedule appointments when they have others in your area to minimize travel time! Parts cost also seem like 100% mark up! I gave one star rating because he did fix my problem, I think? read more

We got the water softener and GAC installed about a month ago. Suzy and Dennis were very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy-going. We priced the system with another company and other plumbers but their pricing was the best. They were very accommodating with the schedule and even when we signed. They left our house but came back an hour later to give us additional pricing that we forgot to ask for the first time. On the day of installation, they were running a little late but they also finished the installation earlier than expected. The system has been working great and we can definitely feel the difference in the cold water immediately and the hot water just a few days later, just as Suzy said. We also got a follow up call from Suzy to make sure everything was running as we expected. Great service! read more

Excellent company to work with! Suzy and Dennis restored my trust that there are service providers out there who work WITH their customers to make sure we are comfortable and fully understand the products and services we are buying. AWESOME. Dennis came in with his plumbing crew and the setup was quick and hassle free. Dennis stayed late to make sure I knew how to operate the filter/softener bypass valve in case of emergency and went through how the system operates. He also showed me where he placed the discharge line. I am ecstatic with the result. WOW. I can't believe how we survived the hard water in Kapolei. We lived in Palolo before moving to Kapolei and couldn't understand why tub and toilet cleaning was so hard. Showers did not feel the same and our skin always seemed dried out. Had to moisturize all the time. Clothes and whites.always felt scratchy coming out of the laundry. Now we know! Auwe! My water bill is going up cuz I now enjoy staying in the shower now. Towels are soft and gently scrub your skin. Chee hoo! No stains on the fixtures. Cleaning is a snap. If you live in Kapolei or in the Ewa Plains, u gotta seriously consider buying the filter and softener system. Tell them Big El sent you. read more

I've been doing business with AAA Bestwater since 2004 , they are very professional and helpful , I would highly recommend them.

Very positive experience. I purchased a softener and filtration system for my townhouse in Ko Olina. It's a vacation rental, so I am not there as often as I like to be and I had many, many questions. Dennis answered them all with no pressure and was extremely responsive (both via phone and email). A year after our first meeting, it was installed on MY timeline the day after I arrived back on island. Dennis and the plumber were there on time (i.e. not Hawaii time), and had it installed the way they said they would, on the timeline they said they would, at the cost they quoted, along with my HOA inspection and county permits. Kapolei water has done a great job of disintegrating my appliances, and I'm looking forward to many years of great quality water. I highly recommend AAA BestWater. read more

I purchased the SQC-3 under sink filter three years ago under the old owner and was disappointed in the almost 300% mark up I paid. I was new to the water softener stuff and didnt know. After 2+ years of research on whole home systems, you just cant get a decent deal in the residential systems on island. Got a post card in the mail saying AAA bestwater was under new management and gave them a call. Couldnt be happier with the service, price and quality of our system. They even tested and changed the under sink filters while they were here at no charge. I highly recommend AAA! read more

This company is great. Dennis and Suzy are so organized and so efficient. I sent an email asking for an estimate, they came the next day. They explained all the options to me. After a few days of research, I notified them which I option I wanted, Dennis came by the next day with the contract. The job was scheduled and completed within a week. It so refreshing to work with a company that is so responsive and more importantly does a good job. read more

Recently redid our kitchen and baths and wanted a water softener to protect our investment and a water filter/reverse osmosis for cooking and drinking. Had the system put in and now our fixtures and glass don't have those awful spots/rings making cleanup a breeze plus our water tastes great. Dennis and Suzy are such nice people and the customer service is awesome! When we have questions, they respond very quickly whether via e-mail, phone or in person. We would definitely recommend AAA BestWater! read more
