I asked if he can work on my car. He's done my Honda Civic Sir and Accord v6 coupe. Since then I've owned a few more cars and I've been lucky I haven't received any dings. Until now. Fast forward to 2025. I own a 2019 black Rav4 Trail now. All my previous cars were black as well. If anyone is an owner of a black car, they know very well that you can see a lot of imperfections easily and your contact washes have to be very delicate. I am the kinda ocd car guy growing up. Yes, that kinda guy who would wash his car in the rain if a bird landed multiple bombs on the paint. I've kept Chris's number and this man has been consistently busy. He booked me a week in advance after I sent him the photos of the damage. Some international student on an electric scooter was riding careless and nicked/dent my parked car ‍. Chris is a real friendly guy. He's straight up and honest. His quotes are very reasonable. Obviously the prices are not like before. It's been almost 20 years. But what I can say is I rather support a local business than a corporate entity at this point. I didn't want a record of claim on the vehicle. The option of dent repair makes more sense. I basically dropped off my car by 11am and got a call back by 1:50pm. There's no way you can get your car back on the same day with icbc. On the same day before date night, on a Friday afternoon. I was extremely surprised Chris raised the bar and fixed the paint as well. I wasn't expecting the paint to be fixed. The results looked like the damage never happened. I was so impressed with his standards being so high. Amazing craftsmanship. If you can relate with growing up in poverty , you learn about how to take care of things that you own in life. Maintain your property, vehicles, watches, sneakers, suits, anything you appreciate. It's gut wrenching when you're always so careful then all of a sudden you get dinged and it's by others. Very mentally frustrating. When I picked up my car I was so happy. Now keep in mind I haven't washed my car in 2 weeks because of all the rain storms we received. That damaged area looked practically brand new. Chris made it happen. But it wasn't over. If I wanted to really see his craft I needed to do a contact wash. I took the car home. Did a wash. As expected Chris's work is legit as usual. I took pics and videos on different positions for you to view. It's clean work. All I had to do was apply a Si-o2 protection spray for now to match the hydrophobic beading with the ceramic coated car. I was due for an overhaul ceramic renewal this coming summer anyhow. Chris. To make the story short Dino (who is one of the owners) took me to the back of the shop and showed me what and how they are different from other shops. Well, after about 30 seconds I had made my decision to go with these guys. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the shop...you could eat of the floor...and everything was really organized like one of those garage organizer commercials I see advertised sometimes in the paper...Dino showed me some of the equipment they use and told me that they were one of a few shops in BC that had these advanced machines (don't ask me what exactly they do but they looked Super advanced). I like to get my car fixed with super advanced stuff I thought...lol...anyways, after my little tour and the really friendly attitude I decided to make an appointment. There was also an indicator which kept flashing on the dash board. John (the manager) checked on that for me and sent me a YouTube video which explained what that was. It reassured me that my car was ok and there was no other trouble to it related to the accident. It took a few days for the car to be fixed and I was given a courtesy car from Enterprise. The staff arranged everything and even took care of returning the rental car when my car was ready for pick up. I brought my car in and check in was very easy and they provided an Uber back home for me was the length of time to do my windshield was fairly lengthy. They also provided an Uber back. Looking over my car they had did a interior clean and I believe wash prior to windshield install as the car was clean. My service was covered by insurance so I cannot confirm anything value wise but if the service they provided is consistent then if day they are worth it.
