I was really impressed with the care and general "vibe" of this animal hospital. All of the ladies up front & Drs. assistants were extremely helpful and Dr. Moreno was amazing! Anyone that went by me in the waiting area acknowledged me or offered me a coffee. I had a cat w/ an abscess under his chin, and needed to get him to a vet that day. My regular vet could not take Marty, but urged me to find one that would. So I called AAA and they got me in that same day. Marty managed to remove his staples a couple of times, so I made several trips with him to see Dr. Moreno. He was not happy about that, but hardly made a fuss and I'm sure that has to do with how he was being treated by all of the staff. Thank you for being so wonderful with my baby boy. Nothing against our old vet, but AAA is now his official vet!!

I cannot recommend this clinic enough! They were able to fit my new baby, Benito, in for a same-day wellness appointment, which was a huge relief. The staff gave him so much love and attention that I honestly wasn't sure I'd be able to take him home--they clearly adore their patients! They were incredibly kind, friendly, and patient, allowing me to ask a million questions and addressing every single one of my concerns. It's rare to find a team that listens so well. Benito and I have definitely found our forever vet!

Dr. Al, Elsa & the rest of the staff at AAA are top notch in all that they do. If you want a veterinarian that is compassionate & knowledgeable, then you can trust in him and his entire staff. They showed my Mal and I great compassion when he was sick. Although everything was done to save him, including a personal home visit at night w/o charge, he passed and I still feel indebted to Dr. Al's and Elsa's valiant efforts. Now our Yorkie needed some serious healthcare, and once again they took great care of our family pet. We received text message updates all day, even this cute picture of her post surgery. As always we are incredibly grateful for AAA Animal Hospital, Dr. Al, Elsa and the rest of his staff. Thank you all for the work you do in keeping our family pets healthy.

Here's a positive Yelp review you can consider posting for your vet: "I can't say enough great things about my vet visit. I recently brought my Schnauzer puppies in for their checkup, and the care they received was absolutely top-notch. The staff was so kind, patient, and thorough, answering all my questions about vaccinations, nutrition, and puppy care, especially Ivette. The clinic was clean, organized, and welcoming, which made the whole experience stress-free for me and my pups. I truly felt like my puppies' health and well-being were their top priority. As a Corona resident I highly recommend this location. Thank you team.

It has been a very difficult time for my cat Bastu…read more However, I have found the facility to be very nice, and Bastu received prompt assistance for her problems! First, she was hospitalized for 24 hours. While there are still some things that I am trying to understand, the IV support made a big difference in her health. My understanding is that this is very important for cats with pancreatis. After going some time without eating, I could tell that she felt better after each treatment with fluids. I have not yet had a follow-up visit with my local vet to check Bastu's PrecisionPSL values. However, from two follow-up visits to CAEC, I can say that Bastu's SDMA values have returned to normal (after she was prescribed felimazole, and successful delivery of that medication for 3 days lead to more severe problems). The spike in BUN values from 21 (before felimazole) to 72 (after felimazole, and then decreased diet to the point of not eating any food) was reversed to 13 after treatment at CAEC (a little below normal, instead of very high above normal). While I am looking into more details (such as waiting to see if my Bastu is capable of returning to normal health) before following the procedures on the FDA website (https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/report-problem/how-report-animal-drug-and-device-side-effects-and-product-problems), my understanding is that my cat has a pre-existing kidney problem. The elevated T4 levels (used to define a diagnosis for hyperthydroidism) represented the body's defense for those kidney problems - high T4 can cause problems in itself, but the underlying kidney problems can also cause additional problems. Thank you very much - while improvement has been slow, Bastu and I certainly appreciate the help within the last week!

We noticed our hamster severely struggling to breathe, eat, and drink after having a reaction to Ivermectin that had been prescribed by another vet clinic. We rushed him to VEG, and the team immediately stepped in to help stabilize him and figure out what was going on. After receiving oxygen treatment and a care plan for an Upper Respiratory Infection, they sent us home with medication and supplemental food to help syringe-feed him. Even though he was just a hamster, he was me and my fiancé's first pet, and the staff truly treated him with kindness and respect. Dr. Stephanie was especially amazing (she told us she owned hamsters in the past) and she took the time to show us how to safely pick him up and feed him so we felt comfortable caring for him at home. She also answered all of our questions thoroughly and was transparent about the high risk of complications given his elderly age (2.5 years old). Over the next few days, we did see improvement. He started eating and drinking again, was breathing better, and even climbing around. He responded really well to the medication and supplemental food. Unfortunately, he relapsed a few days later and passed away in our arms at home, which we were told was a high possibility given how elderly he was. Nonetheless, we were so happy to have those last few 'healthy' days with him spending time with him. To us, that extra time with him was priceless, and that was all thanks to the quick care and professionalism by the VEG team. We took him back to VEG where Brittany helped guide us through the aftercare options with so much compassion. We live in an apartment so we honestly didn't know what options we had. We were given a quiet room to grieve and take our time deciding what felt right for us. We chose a private cremation and were really appreciative of how smooth and thoughtful the process was. About a week later, we received his ashes and paw prints. This was our first pet together so and we are so thankful for the warmth, empathy, and care VEG showed us and our tiny little guy every step of the way. We truly felt supported during one of the hardest experiences, and we couldn't recommend them enough.

They did x-rays and bloodwork, and after the x-rays I was told they thought they saw a mass and that it looked like cancer. I was told she would likely die soon. I was absolutely devastated. I left late at night crying with my son, truly believing we were about to lose her. I was even close to making the decision to put her down because I couldn't emotionally or financially handle what I was being told at that moment. They did suggest I go to Pasadena for an ultrasound and biopsy to confirm, so I woke up at 4 AM and drove her there. The testing took all day and was incredibly stressful. In the end, I was told there was no cancer. It turned out to be her organ positioning stacked on one another on the x-ray and some fluid that was biopsied but came back negative. A year later, my cat is now three years old and completely healthy. In total, I spent around $4,000 going through this process, along with a tremendous amount of emotional distress that I will never forget. I understand imaging can sometimes be difficult to interpret, but I wish the initial findings had been communicated that the xray cannot be clear showing what is there because the vet told me he was certain it was a mass and she would not live much longer. I guess she had a stomach ache. She was hydrated and given an appetite stimulant and-is well. I would be more than happy to give more stars because the staff did seem caring and compassionate, but this experience was extremely traumatic and financially draining for my family as a single mom. Within a few days of her coming home my son's stress was so high he had a collapsed lung at the age of 25. It was a rough time for us.

She had already gone to her doctor earlier that day and was treated, and we thought she might be ok for the night at home; however, once the pain meds wore off, she was definitely not feeling well. We took her to the Fountain Valley Emergency Pet Hospital, and she was treated wonderfully. I've had previous poor experiences with other emergency rooms, but this one was different. From the moment we walked in, she had her vitals taken quickly. We then waited (not long) for her to see a doctor, and the doctor came in to give us an idea of what needed to be done. We left her there for further testing, fluids, and pain control. We were contacted, and the results were reviewed over the phone (I was sent links for radiology and labs) to go over them with the doctor. The plan of care was thoroughly explained, and she felt better the next morning. I even received updates and a photo from that evening. We picked her up and were sent home with medical records and everything she needed to continue care with her regular primary vet. Everything was also sent directly to her regular primary care vet. Everyone was pleasant and truly seemed to care about the circumstances. Dr You was great with her and very good at going over the results. Honey was treated like family. She left in the morning and was on the road to recovery along with her primary vet, whom we took her to that day. Lo and behold, the following week, Honey was outside using the backyard restroom when a coyote attacked her. Our black lab rescued her, and I am so thankful nothing worse happened. Be careful, it's Coyote season! I knew when that happened she had a laceration to her face and it would need to be repaired, it was after hours so there we went back to Fountain Valley Emergency Pet Hospital. We were seen relatively quickly; they had a busy night, and the doctor was in surgery when we arrived. Honey was stable, so we waited until she could be seen. Dr. Hoogeveen saw Honey and she was great, she came to speak to us and explain what Honey would need and the best course of treatment for her. Honey had to undergo general anesthesia, which we were extremely concerned about, given her age and the fact that she was still recovering from a very rough bout of pancreatitis. Dr. Hoogeveen walked us through it, answered all of our questions, and provided direction for her care. Honey stayed the night again, once Dr. Hoogeveen was done with the surgery she contacted us to let us know how everything went. We were able to pick up Honey in the morning, and she looked well. Honey recovered well,l and they took good care of her. Honey is now recovering at home after a very stressful two week,s and I am grateful that we had a place to go to for her care when her regular Vet was closed. As far as cleanliness, it's very clean. The staff are all wonderful. They offer different payment options, such as CareCredit and Cherry. I don't know if they offer others, but we were able to qualify for Cherry, which was a considerable relief after an expensive two weeks! Honey is now recovering at home. The only wish I have is that they would be open a bit later during the weekdays. Not every regular vet is open early for transfer. Hopefully, in the future, that can be an option. I wouldn't hesitate to take your pet here if you need emergent care. I appreciate that they treated Honey like family. Hopefully, we won't be back anytime soon, but I still recommend them if you need to!

He had been in a slow decline that suddenly turned rapid, and I knew we were at the end. What stood out most was the veterinarian's honesty. They checked his vitals, but we didn't pursue extensive diagnostics. Instead, he spoke candidly about what he was seeing--neurologically, Baxter was not himself and had clearly lost significant muscle mass. At his age, there was likely more going on than one treatable issue. The veterinarian could have easily recommended a long list of tests. Instead, he gave me real guidance. When I asked what he would do if it were his own dog, he told me he would choose euthanasia at this stage, explaining that "a day or a week too early is better than a day too late" to avoid unnecessary suffering. I had been struggling with this decision for a while, and that honesty helped me feel confident I was doing the right thing. It meant everything. Once I made the decision, the compassion from the staff was incredible. They handled everything with such care, dignity, and kindness. I've also been here before when Baxter was first diagnosed with heart failure, and had the same experience. The veterinarian literally told me it wasn't an emergency and that I could either proceed with treatment there or follow up with my regular vet the next day and save the cost of emergency care. That level of transparency really stuck with me. I'm truly grateful for this team and this office. If you're ever in a difficult situation with your pet, this is a place where you'll receive honest, compassionate care--not pressure to run unnecessary tests or take advantage of a vulnerable moment. My best guess is that when people love an animal and have to spend big bucks on emergency surgeries and such, the frustration bleeds thru to reviews. In life or death scenarios, our emotions run high and sometimes expect too much from people who can only do so much? Nothing about our experience here indicated haphazard or inconsiderate care, for what that's worth.

On the early morning of May 7th, I brought my dog in for labored breathing. After X-rays, the vet determined he had an asthma attack caused by allergies and that his lungs were inflamed. They administered an injection to calm his breathing and sent us home with steroids. However, by 4:00 AM on May 8th, his breathing was still strained, so we returned. He received another injection and a prescription for Albuterol. Unfortunately, the pharmacy process became a nightmare. A local CVS could not fill the script due to technical errors in the way it was written. I then placed an order through Chewy.com on the morning of May 8th. By May 10th, Chewy confirmed they were still waiting for the clinic's approval. When I called the clinic to follow up, I had the misfortune of speaking with Naomi. I explained that my dog had been struggling to breathe for two days and asked why the approval was being delayed. She was incredibly rude and insensitive. When I expressed my desperation to get my dog his medication, she told me that if he couldn't breathe, I should simply "take him to a different clinic." When I told her I was going to bring him back to AEC, she said they were no longer accepting patients today. When I asked to speak to someone else besides her, she placed me on hold for 25 minutes. When I tried to call back three times from my own phone, the calls were sent immediately to hold. Suspecting I was being screened, I called from a friend's phone, Naomi answered immediately. When I asked why I was being sent straight to hold, she stated she would leave me there until she had "new information." I was so shocked with her condescending tone. I even asked if she was hearing the way she was speaking to me, she replied, "Yes, I am," and put me back on hold. After being left back on hold for several minutes, I hung up and called back. Bella answered the phone. She was the complete opposite of Naomi. Bella went out of her way to help me. I told her I no longer wanted to wait for the approval for Chewy to fill the order and was going to see if I could fill the prescription at Walmart. Bella called around to different Walmart locations to confirm they had the Albuterol in stock. Thanks to Bella, I finally have the medication. While I appreciate the medical diagnosis and Bella's help, Naomi's lack of compassion was unacceptable. No pet owner in distress should be treated with such hostility, especially when the delay involves watching their beloved pet suffering. If you bring your pet here, please be cautious of Naomi's involvement in your care. I have seen other reviews talk about an emergency vet in Redlands. I was not aware there was one. I can't imagine returning to this clinic now after the treatment I received from Naomi.

While I didn't get everyone's names, every staff member I interacted with was so sweet, friendly, and reassuring. It truly gave me a sense of security knowing they genuinely cared and were there to help my cat. Dr. Singh was very helpful, straightforward, and honest throughout the entire visit, which I really appreciated during such a stressful situation. One thing I especially appreciated was how transparent they were with pricing -- they gave quotes for everything, broke down every charge clearly, and provided an itemized receipt at the end. I was met with both good news and bad news, but I'm incredibly grateful that I still got to walk away with my baby. Thank you all so much for your care, compassion, and help during such a difficult time. I would truly recommend this place to anyone needing urgent care for their pet.

Horrible Experience! I wish I could give a 0 or a negative…read morestar review! We brought our 14 years old cat to this "emergency" clinic at 10:20PM. A lady came out not to greet us but told us that they close at 11PM due to new management and this is place is sold to another company. The doctor was seeing the last patient of the day and was referring us to another clinic in Glendora. We told her to please ask the doctor to take a look at our cat. We are willing to pay double the visiting fee. She went in for about 5 minutes and then another gentleman came out and told us the same thing. The clinic was sold and we close at 11PM now, etc. I took out my phone and showed him that it's 10:27PM. He said they wouldn't have enough time to do procedures to our cat. I told him our cat is old and he can't handle that much pressure anymore going to Glendora.. Long story short, this place has last call like some high end restaurant and I'm guessing everyone wants to get off work right at 11PM. Good luck with the "new management last call clinic". Getting off work is their first priority and not saving pets lives!
