    The app is not user friendly. The office is not user friendly. The new membership cards look spiffy. Setting up auto-pay or attempting to set it up have proved to be very frustrating. The agent Gabriel seemed to brush us off and then the front desk guy told us that the agent had to call (someone? Something?) to set up autopay. When I came in the pay car registration they said dmv site was down statewide but when I arrived home 3 minutes later I was able to pay registration online. AAA why are y'all so vexing?

    I came in to apply for my moms temporary handicap placard. The estimated wait was 30mins but I was serviced within 15mins. Teresa helped me out today and she was friendly, information and efficient. Totally beats waiting for 3 hours at the DMV. Thank you, AAA!

California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara initiated legal action against State Farm in May 2026, accusing the insurer of systemic mishandling of claims following the January 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. The state seeks to suspend State Farm's license for up to a year and levy millions in penalties. Investigation Findings & Legal Action The Allegations: State Farm allegedly delayed, underpaid, and buried policyholders in red tape. The company handled approximately one-third of all residential claims following the Palisades and Eaton fires. The Violations: An expedited investigation of a sample of 220 claims found 398 violations of the California Insurance Code in more than half of the reviewed cases. The Penalties: The Department of Insurance filed an Accusation and Order to Show Cause, the first step toward an administrative hearing, seeking to suspend State Farm's certificate of authority to issue new policies for up to a year. State Farm's Response: State Farm acknowledged certain errors but characterized them as "unintentional oversights" and "file-specific errors" by claims handlers, and stated it had completed a training to correct the issues. P.S. I am sorry that Mark chose to imply that I would ever INITIATE contact him when he was in the hospital waiting for his son's surgery. It was Mark who responded during that time to my earlier emails - and only THEN did I know he was in the hospital. That kind of misleading accusation about a customer is not appropriate for a professional. I clearly added that I would wait for the results of the lawsuit, but felt it important to mention because my previous review was for HIS GOOD HANDLING OF ME AS A SALESMAN FOR A NEW CUSTOMER, since I had not actually dealt with State Farm before.

For years, I stuck with another broker in the Westminster area, primarily because it was a default recommendation from a real estate agent. That experience, frankly, was a nightmare. Our previous broker was unresponsive, and when our insurance company tried to block us from renewing our coverage, citing an "unlivable" roof (despite us having repaired it years ago and providing proof), that broker was the absolute worst to deal with. They wouldn't respond until our coverage had already lapsed and we had to scramble to find new insurance. To add insult to injury, they then tried to charge us for a renewed coverage we never agreed to! All that to say, when we finally made the switch to Mach 5 Insurance Services, it was a NIGHT AND DAY difference! Emails and phone calls are responded to incredibly FAST, which is a breath of fresh air. We worked primarily with Shannon, who is the office manager and hands down the most professional and competent insurance agent we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We love Mach 5 so much that we decided to switch the policies for both of our homes over to them, specifically requesting a change of agent so that everything would be handled by one office and with their team of honest and responsible agents. She explained the missed calls (she thought they might be spam--totally fair these days), and from that point forward, she was incredibly caring, honest, and professional. Jessica didn't just sell me a life insurance policy--she took the time to really understand my family's needs. She explained everything clearly, patiently, and with complete transparency. I could tell she genuinely cared more about doing what's right for us than just making a profit. What really impressed me is her honesty about what she doesn't know. If she's not confident about a specific topic, she tells you upfront and checks with her expert teammates to make sure you get the correct information. That level of integrity is rare and really earned my trust. She also helped my parents with their Medicare, even though she doesn't make much from that.
