For years, I stuck with another broker in the Westminster area, primarily because it was a default recommendation from a real estate agent. That experience, frankly, was a nightmare. Our previous broker was unresponsive, and when our insurance company tried to block us from renewing our coverage, citing an "unlivable" roof (despite us having repaired it years ago and providing proof), that broker was the absolute worst to deal with. They wouldn't respond until our coverage had already lapsed and we had to scramble to find new insurance. To add insult to injury, they then tried to charge us for a renewed coverage we never agreed to! All that to say, when we finally made the switch to Mach 5 Insurance Services, it was a NIGHT AND DAY difference! Emails and phone calls are responded to incredibly FAST, which is a breath of fresh air. We worked primarily with Shannon, who is the office manager and hands down the most professional and competent insurance agent we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We love Mach 5 so much that we decided to switch the policies for both of our homes over to them, specifically requesting a change of agent so that everything would be handled by one office and with their team of honest and responsible agents. I tried to explain I found another company, on the days following I received very rude employees calling and interrogating me. On days following I received 17 calls, next day 9. I asked to be removed from their list. After 2 weeks of non stop calls I have blocked and still receiving calls from different phone numbers. I am to putting this experience on Yelp. The calls never stop and daily multiple calls daily. As of now I will never go with Allstate and will continue to post the unprofessional behavior I have received from them. * I've had Geico Auto Insurance for 21 years now, & in that time they've never paid an accident…read moreclaim in my behalf. * But 3 weeks ago I accidentally scratched a parked car at the grocery store & waited for the owner to return from shopping to alert them. * It was a tiny rear bumper scratch & barely perceptible unless you were specifically trying to find it. * Anyway today I received my Geico bill & it basically doubled from $53 monthly to $99.90 per month. * I later spoke to the Geico representative & he was impatient with no explanation or valid reason for the major increase. * I'm a little taken back that after 21 years of paying ever-increasing premiums to Geico (with no accidents), that they doubled my monthly payments the first time I actually used their insurance service, for a minor scratch. * Needless to say I did not get a comfortable, confident or warm & fuzzy feeling from the stern customer service handling of this issue.
