The woman who took my first call was pleasant but the gentleman who had additional questions for me was quite rude. They came out and quoted me $650 for a complete job with 1 hr of digging. However they weren't able to get to my lid and it was too much for them to dig another 3 feet so they just pumped it from the outside pump and weren't able to clean the lid or completely pump the 1250gal tank. I was charged the same price as if they cleaned the lid and did the complete job. I was very disappointed in this and wanted at least $100 back as I believe that is fair b/c they didn't have to clean the lid.. They weren't able to fill the hole up nicely either so my landscapers need to come and fix it.. Not at all what I expected for a higher priced company which was referred to me by my plumber.. Juan-technician was very nice but I feel like i was taken advantage of by the company. read more

Ralph from Ajax Pumping Company came out this morning, he spent a great deal of time locating and digging up our septic tank cap and then painstakingly dislodged and pumped out our tank. He was pleasant, hard working and knowledgeable. We have used Ajax for years. I called Dawn up and she scheduled an appointment right away. Thank you Ajax Pumping Company, you are fantastic! I was hesitant based on previous reviews but my experience with this company was great. My neighbor had an appointment already booked. I called & they were able to squeeze me in on the same day. I had another appointment booked with a local company but was waiting almost 3 weeks That's a long time if your septic tank is gurgling. My appointment was between 11am-1pm. Josh showed up right at 11am and they had already completed my neighbors house. Josh was great!! Turns out we needed more than just a clean out, we need a repair. Unfortunately that's not something that this company can do but Josh gave me a lot of great information, wrote a very detailed invoice for the repair company, gave me a referral for repair company and was very thorough in explaining to me what was going on with our system. My parents bathtub had backed up so I called a plumber out to fix it. Plumber said he could not fix the clogged pipe until the backup was drained & I needed to call a sewage pumping service. We had them pump the tank today. The service man had a terrible attitude such that he spoke down to us and spoke over me. It was disappointing because I would have liked to use them to do additional work being as they had become familiar with the property. Now, I have to search elsewhere. Onto the next bad incident with AAA Ajax... when I called the office to pay the invoice, (I needed 3-4 minutes to go get the card) the office gal told me that I was holding up the driver's day but yet she couldn't even tell me how much my bill was. While this may sound small, it was an overall sentiment of not being able to communicate nicely with the customer. It breaks my heart that this still exists out there! We have used them for years. Had a septic overflowing on Saturday and was told they would be here between 11-1 on Monday. They called and said they would be here in 25-35 minutes around 11:30. We said great. The office then called and told us he had another appointment and wouldn't be there until 2:30 or 3 at the earliest. I run a business with scheduling and she was extremely rude about it. I got the feeling she was trying to squeeze someone in ahead of us. If I had known they were going to be so late I would have called someone else. In fact Reddi services was able to get here quickly. Pretty sad that a long relationship has to end this way. read more

On the phone Dawn researched online records for my property and helped me figure out what kind of tank I had and where I most likely would need to dig to prepare for the pumping out. Juan arrived as scheduled and was very thorough in his work. He spent a great deal of time using several different tools to get the stuck lid off the tank so he could pump the tank out completely. My neighbor is selling his house and had AAA Ajax come pump his septic tank. What a stench! The exhaust vents on either side of the truck spewed out the most nauseous fumes. We live on a golf course and I'm sure the golfers were not pleased with the smell either. I just had my septic tank pumped 3 weeks ago by another company and there was no obnoxious smell permeating the entire neighborhood. Other neighbors have had their systems serviced by other companies and there was no odor. Will not recommend your company to anyone. read more

I had a great experience with this company. We needed a septic inspection completed for a short sale and they fit us in on our last day of due diligence. The issue was that we had to locate the tank, and once we did that we discovered that it was only about 1'6" deep but the cap was halfway under a concrete walkway, and the cap was seal with concrete. On top of that, there was a water pipe running right along where an impact hammer would have to be used to break the concrete seal, at an angle. Though the initial suggestion was to reschedule (we did not have time for this), I helped dig to speed the process up but Juan did the lions share of the work. He stayed, it took quite a few hours to even get to the point of inspection and we ultimately got the certification. read more

Not sure why there are bad reviews here. We had an emergency sewage issue at our home. Dawn called me right back and Josh was right on time two hours later. They were both very helpful and hopefully we will never have to use their services again, but would highly recommend to anyone. read more
