I hate to write negative Yelp reviews, especially for a family-owned small business, but perhaps another negative review will help them react and change their ways for future clients. A few years ago I hired them for a very basic sign for my building in Glendale. I was satisfied with the project so when I moved to another building in Burbank and needed a much larger and more elaborate sign, I called them within a few weeks of moving. In October 2018, Sam came to my location and asked me to send him my logo to come up with a design and quote for it. After over a year and multiple phone and email follow ups, I still haven't gotten an email or phone reply from them, despite numerous tries. It seems they have larger municipal projects and accounts and they can't handle the workload so they ignore smaller clients. At the very least, they can let clients know they are not available for your project instead of showing up to your property and then never replying back. This isn't good business, especially with a repeat client who has a much larger project than the original. It seems they have too much work to handle but refuse to hire outside help, which is unfortunate. read more

So I did business with AA1 about 5 years ago when I opened my first bootcamp facility and they did a pretty good job from what I can recall. I remember the office being a mess though and they seemed very unorganized. So when it came time to re-brand one of my franchises, I called them to see if they could change my current signs and design some new ones and that it was time sensitive. I also wanted to get a quote on another sign for another building I needed installed, but that was not as time sensitive. I called and spoke with the woman who works there, who I am pretty sure is a relative or mom, because she should not be working customer service AT ALL. She said they would get back to me, which they didn't. I called again a few days later and followed up and asked when I could speak with Sam. Sam eventually called me back the next day and we went over what I needed. I told him one was time sensitive and one was not. I immediately sent the emails and contact info of everything he asked for to get going on the project. He mentioned he would get back to me the next day but also mentioned they had a big job they were working on and that if I needed something quickly I might need to wait. I told him I needed one done, but the other could wait. Another week passed (two weeks since my initial call) and I again spoke to the woman in the office. She proceeded to tell me that they were busy with a contract with the city of Glendale and they couldn't get back to me when I needed them to. I began to explain that I don't care about the city of Glendale and that they either need to hire new employees to service all of their clients, not just the ones who pay more or that you have a contract with. She began to argue with me about how they have to pay the city if they don't get it done by the deadline. Talk about not feeling like a priority. I proceeded to tell her as a fellow business owner that it's a problem that they need to overcome as a business, not expect their current clients and potential clients deal with. I told her that if they couldn't handle the new business that comes in, they have a staffing problem and that I don't care. She continued to argue why the contract with the city was more important than getting back to me so I told her I will take my business elsewhere. She said OK. I hate to break it to you but it might be time to hire some more help so you can help all your customers (not just the ones you have a contract with) and fire mom (or whoever that is)! I will not be doing business with them again. Terrible communication and customer service. read more

So, just to summarize... Highly recommended!!! Use them for all your sign and print needs!! So I just opened a new dental office, Blue Pearl Dentistry and aa1 printing went above and beyond my expectations. Sam, helped me with designing flyers, banners, over the suite sign and my giant light up sign on the top of my building. I was worried about how it would turn out because you don't get to see stuff like this until it goes up. He made me feel comfortable and confident and the final result was just as he said, awesome. This place can do just about anything you want and sam's expertise and experience really helps with getting it done right. Not only do they do great work, their fees are reasonable. Use them. We are a company that strives on customer service. Which all companies should be!! So we tried to order custom license plates which we were recommended to use this company. It took 4 days to respond to the first email we sent. That was after I called again to ask why no one will respond. We thought it would be processed and move along to production by the email. We sent art work another week passed with no communication. So i think it's best to not use a company that will not respond to customers by email or phone. Our company here in Las Vegas calls every missed call back responds to every email, text, and person that walks in our doors. Unfortunately other company's drop the ball due to what we like to call BEING LAZY. SORRY BUT WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. read more

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with Sam and his staff's customer service. We had inquired on a banner that was supposed to get designed and printed for our wedding. With the lack of follow ups in responding to our inquiry, we decided to move onto Print E Fex in Glendale where they did a great job at a lower cost. I'd suggest improving service aspects in your facility with a better organization process. read more

I would never use them for anymore neon letter repairs. I needed a letter "J" remade, I took them the old letter so they can use it as a guide. When I whet to pick up the letter they have made it was an 'L" and not a "J". I asked them to make it again and they tried to tell me that I asked for an 'L" and not the "J". After convincing them that they have made the wrong letter they agreed to make me a new one. I went to pick up the new letter and they had made it half the size of the original letter provided to them the first time. So I asked them what they did to the old letter and how come they didn't use it as a guild they told me that that was the same size as the one I took to them. After comparing the sizes of the wrong letter they made to the new one they stayed quite because it was half the size of what i needed. So they agreed to make a new one they told me it will be ready in two days, on the second day I went to pick it up and they informed me that it wasn't ready because they didn't have time to make it. You would think that after not getting my order right the first two time they would work on it and try to make up for their mistakes. The manager told me that it would be ready later that afternoon so I told her call me when it's ready. After three days of not hearing nothing from the store I had one of my workers go to the place and pick it up. When my worker got there the letter still wasn't ready. If you need thing done right the first time or even need things in a reasonable time, DON'T use this company. read more
