I'd been having what maybe could be a couple issues in for a quick tranny check and diagnosis of whether I need a rebuild, a repair, or replacement service. I went to a local we do it all / oil change joint and they suggested a transmission specialist should here I am. This place (and the people involved) have been doing this literally for decades, and their certificates and commendations cover the walls. Immediately greeted and helped by "Adam" who talked me through every step of the free diagnostic analysis they offer. Sadly (or thankfully) my issues are not immediately apparent and would require a breakdown and 'fix what we find' kind of thing but the shop offered their expert advice and explained the process and costs involved. The people at AA One were great--friendly, helpful and honest. We were referred there for a possible transmission replacement ($5-7K). They checked out the car, determined there was no transmission problem (big relief) and told us it was a tire or brake problem, which we were then able to have repaired for about $250-$300. They also put the car up on the lift and physically showed us there was no transmission fluid leak and no other transmission issue. I love dealing with honest service people who know what they are doing and don't make unnecessary repairs. I would definitely recommend these guys! read more

Let me start this off by saying I would give 0.0 stars if it were an option.. I brought my truck a 2020 GMC 1500 Denali, to AA from a state away on recommendation from a great friend who had dealt with AA for 20+ years.. Needless to say neither of us will EVER do business here again. I have worked in the auto industry all my life and have never had customer service like this. I was told a price and it was a good price, (beat the dealership by over $2000), but then once my transmission was apart and there was nothing I could do I was up charged over $1000 bc i was told they were going to put heavy duty parts in so this never happened again. So I thought, ok it will be worth it in the end. I was then told my warranty was only going to be 1 yr or 12,000 miles. If you were putting heavy duty parts in over $7000 worth of transmission you would think they would stand behind themselves. Here I am 9 months later and 20,000 miles (I drive for work so I drive a lot) and I'm broke down 3 states away and called to see what they would do for me and they told me there was nothing they could do but if I could get the truck to them they would cut me a deal and fix it again for only ANOTHER $5,000... meanwhile, had I gone to the dealer I would have a 3 yr 100,000 mile warranty.. I should have just ate the bullet at the beginning and I wouldn't be stuck needed to pay for ANOTHER transmission 9 months later. Get what you pay for should be the motto of this shop. So now I need ANOTHER full transmission replacement... I would light myself on fire before I took any vehicle to this place again. I work for multiple body shops, car dealers and mechanic shops through Palm beach and Broward, and I PROMISE you, I will tell every single person I know to stay clear of this place. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Brought them my 04 Silverado 18months ago. I brought them a completely rebuilt transfer case to replace the old one. Price was good for the swap, but the work wasn't. Not only did they leave my windows down during a heavy rain storm, which caused a myriad of electrical issues (burnt heating element in seats, A/C components corroded, etc in which they said "accident happen") but the transfer case never engaged into 4 wheel drive. I never checked the 4 wheel drive until months later because I didn't need it, and it was pouring rain when I was picking up the car. Noticed the windows down and inches of water on my floor which took my immediate attention. Couple months later I started noticing leaks in my driveway. Started hearing the same metallic noises when the transfer case needed replacing the first time. Had the transmission done by a different company recently and they pointed out the shoddy work done on the transfer case. It looks like it was gooped with gasket maker, bolts are possibly cross threaded/stripped, and the wiring wasn't done correctly either (code for no power to transfer case motor). None of this makes sense, as it was supposed to be a swap. The rebuilt transfer case that I purchased did not look like this when I brought it to them. Not sure if they went and got a bad one and kept my good one? Also had to ask for the core as they did not want to give it back to me when I was leaving. Have to re-do the transfer case again, less than two years later because it wasn't done right the first time. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE read more

10/10 for transmission shop completely transparent from the start to end. Stayed in contact through out took pictures during tear down. No surprises when it comes time to pay just straight forward good people and good quality work. Quick turn around time complete rebuild less than a week from drop off to pick up. read more

George is a really bad guy and I hope no one goes here. He told me it would cost 3800 to fix my cars transmission. When I told him that was too much money, he said he would take half up front, and I could work out a payment plan for the rest of the money. He refused to give me the car or work out a payment plan after he received half the payment. We had to call the police. They left my camper over the weekend unlocked but yet accused me of locking the keys in it. When I in fact handed them the keys and they locked the doors to the cab but left the rear door to the camper open with valuables inside. We are still assessing if anything was stolen as they are located in a sketchy neighborhood in Lake Worth. I will have no problem taking them to task when we assess the situation further. I would have never left the camper there if I had known they were going to leave it unlocked in the front of the building they should have put it in the bay they took it in at 10:00 in the morning on Saturday and they close at noon what the heck did they think they were going to do with it for Saturday afternoon and Sunday? read more

My check engine light came on a few weeks back, and it was one of those transmission codes where it's either nothing or your car is about to explode. Turns out, I was closer to the more dramatic side. AA One was recommended by the guys at LJ Autotronics down the road, and they had my little car all fixed up within two days! Wow , an honest mechanic , Jorge the owner , looked at my car , transmission was slipping , so I Thought it was going to be int the thousands , I was their less than an hour , they lifted my cat connected to computer and said it was only low on transmission fluid , only charged me $40 . Do not bring your car here. They are dishonest. They charged $2000 to fix my transmission and one week later I had to bring it back. They swore it was fixed. These people are a complete SCAM!! Do not bring your vehicle here ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A WOMAN!! BEWARE!! I brought my car here and it was driving, they told me that they would put the car on the computer for a diagnostic test and call me with costs. They called me back and only gave me cost of labor.$495 Told me they would call back with parts costs. Called me that afternoon with a total cost of $1810! I said no thank you i'll pick up my car, then they tell me that they have already taken out my transmission and now the car is inoperable and cannot drive at all. Said i have to either pay the $1810 or they will put my transmission components in boxes and put in my trunk and i have to pay to have it towed from their shop and i have to pay them for the labor in taking the transmission out. I did not authorize these people to tear out my transmission without first giving me a price. My car was driving and now it is inoperable because they tore out my transmission. This was done to me because I am a single woman. They are a misogynistic company preying on women! I was taken advantage of. Had he told me some kind of rough estimate, i could have made an informed decision but they tore out my transmission rendering my car inoperable before even giving me any quote other than $495 labor costs! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! They are taking advantage of single women! I am a victim! Now the car does not drive at all, I have to find another vehicle and they want me to pay for them taking out the transmission and pay for it to be towed away! Unreal!
