I really wish I could give zero for my experience with Auto Nation Collision at Greenacres. The fact that small dent (5 months and still not fixed) on hood and car is still in fixing, constantly some new parts being added to the service which extend waiting for my car into week 7, costumer service is beyond unprofessional, careless and clueless. I brought my 2005 GMC Yukon into AutoNation because my insurance company - USAA - recommended them. My car sustained damage to a side window during Hurricane Irma. Jennifer was the first person I talked with and saw, and Andre was assigned as my Service Agent. It took about 48 hours for Andre to assess the damage and repair costs. That is as far as I got with my claim. I have been a USAA Member since 1972 and have always considered them a 5-star company... up until now. I ended up dealing with 8 different Claims Adjusters and received conflicting information from all of them. It took a week, 14 email/txt msgs., over a dozen phone calls, and USAA Letters before my car was fixed. However, as one might have assumed, the problem WASN'T with AutoNation Collision, but USAA. AutoNation and USAA were in constant phone communication with each other during this time. During this time USAA decided the damage to my car was strictly mechanical and not caused by Hurricane Irma, even though pictures show debris from the tree that struck my car. The final insult occurred when USAA denied my claim and accused AutoNation of lying to me. I would have normally sided with USAA except the call was put on speakerphone and the AutoNation Manager, the Collision Supervisor Ramona and Andre were all listening and had proof the USAA version was incorrect. At this point Ramona called to tell me the claim, which totaled less than $300.00, was denied. However, because of the runaround I had gotten from USAA, the AutoNation Collision Manager authorized the repair at no cost to me. I was absolutely amazed. I have been driving since 1961 and had never heard of a repair facility over-riding the denial of an insurance claim and picking up the tab. I realize that the massive numbers of claims from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have put a huge strain on insurance companies and this certainly includes USAA. I have learned that USAA has had to hire many new Claims Adjusters to handle the thousands of claims. While these factors might mitigate what happened to me, it certainly doesn't excuse the nightmare I was subjected to. read more

This body shop was in network with my insurance company and also the closest. As soon as I walked in, I was waited on, no appointment. I emailed John Colon, the manager, my insurance appraiser's paperwork and he told me he would call once the parts were in. He walked me through the steps, including rental car process, and the morning I brought my car in, I was given a ride to the rental agency. John called me with updates and even had the car ready a day ahead of time. Now, this is where their service went above and beyond. Before the parts arrived, my car wouldn't start. He actually came to my house, gave it a jump and I went to the auto parts store and got a battery!!! She yeah, I would definitely recommend Greenacres Autonation Collision. read more

I took my daughter's car to AutoNation body shop in Lake Worth and they fixed the car but after we got home we noticed there was a new damaged area on the vehicle that was not there when we took it to the shop. Looks like someone dropped a wrench on the pillar on the side of the windshield. I immediately called the shop and spoke with Pam, one of the estimators that worked with us and she just dismissed everything I was saying and said she took pictures "when the car was brought in." I advised that I wanted to speak to a manager and was bringing the car back. Went back to the shop and spoke with Ramona the manager and she shows me pictures they had of our car showing the new damages with a date stamp showing they were taken THE DAY AFTER WE DROPPED IT OFF. Obvious the car was damaged during that 24 hours. They refuse to accept liability so I will be filing suit. This is a disgusting business and they do not respect their customers. Pam and Ramona are the worst and rudest employees Ive ever seen. read more

A few weeks ago my wife was T-Boned, as close to it as possible. She is fine. Once the Toyota van was brought to Auto Nation Collision Center in Green Acres, Florida things got interesting. They called and emailed the time table and the pictures of the damage. They told us what needed to be done and how long it was predicted to take to complete the mechanical and body work. After two weeks I went by just to see how the repairs were going and that was when I met Robert. He was very customer friendly and even offered to take me back to see the progress. We went back to see the van. He took his time and explained everything that had been done so far and then what was next along with the new expected completion time. It was a great experience. We picked up the van on a Monday. The next day we took the van back to ask about a piece of molding witch turned out to be fine. Robert however noticed the difference between the two head lights. The new one was obviously brighter compared to the other head light. He told us to to wait right here and that he would be right back. Robert returned with a can if industrial head light cleaner and went to work on the dull head light. After just moments the there was great improvement in appearance. They have had my car for a month.  They were told that I had to have the car by the end of April.  They promised that it would be ready well before that.  I am now being told that May 3rd will be the earliest that the car will be ready.  Since I am due to relocate in NJ on May 2nd, I guess I am officially homeless.   The staff is friendly and caring, but pile on excuse after excuse for repeatedly extending the delivery date. Updated: The excuses continue...after 26 days they figured out that the windshield had to be replaced due to scratches incurred in the collision. Guess what?  On day 31 they find out that the replacement windshield also has scratches.  They did not discover that until the day I was finally supposed to pick up the car.  General mgr won't even take my call.  This is a horrible operation.   I tried to call corporate, but all one gets is an answering machine.  No one ever responds to messages left on the machine.  Not only shouldn't one use their collision services, I don't see how anyone could even buy a car from them!!!!! read more

Will, oversaw my collision repairs and went above and beyond along with the manager to meet all my needs. I have never written a complaint of any kind about anything. This is my first in my 44 years of life. I am simply here to inform others of the complete disappointment and lack of customer service skills and professionalism regarding AutoNation Chevrolet in Green Acres, Florida. The address is 5757 Lake Worth Road, Green Acres, Florida 33463. One evening after I left work, it was raining excessively.The remote to my key was broken and got wet, shorting out the chip within it and kicking on the anti-theft deterrent system. I was unable to start the car and needed a new key and system reset to resolve the issue. After calling my car insurance company, I decided that it would be best to tow to this location. This was because I was told if a company came out to replicate this particular key (2014 Chevy Cruze), it was not guaranteed. I called to let AutoNation Green Acres that my car was on its way, I gave them my VIN, plate # and contact information, and was informed someone would contact me on its arrival. Two hours later, I called again because no one contacted me to obtain any information about what happened to the car, what it needed or to make me aware of its arrival. The woman at the front desk of the service area (Thursday, August 6, 2020) took my information once again and informed me someone would get back to me. Still, no response. After a third call, the same woman became annoyed that I was calling again and told me that "if" my car was there, someone would get back to me. What does that mean, "if"? I then called my tow company and they assured me that it was delivered there and the keys were handed to the service manager. I didn't hear from them at all on 08/06/2020. Imagine going to sleep with no verification (from the people that received your car) of the arrival of your car? And, all over something that could be fixed in about an hour. The following day (08/07/202), I called three more times with no success. It was then that I contacted the dealer that sold me the car. He was the only person that helped me through this long and frustrating hunt for my car. He walked over to the service center while on the phone with me, asked me to verify the VIN and informed me he was standing next to my car. He then insisted that someone contact me. He did, assured me that he would then look at my car. Again, no more calls. The following two days, I went to and from work by Uber. I was not able to hound them as I was because I am working as a nurse on a very busy floor during a very difficult time for 14 hours a day. And, because I couldn't hound them, again, I received not one more call. So, now, for this one hour job, my car was sitting in their lot, untouched, unmoved for 4 days. I called a few more times on Monday, left contact information again with a new front desk person and still didn't receive a response. Once again, I called the salesman, who again went over to the service department and insisted someone call me. It was then that the service person called. He told me that he called and my voicemail wasn't set up which is false. The dealer call me and left messages several times over this process, and, I left a minimum of 10 messages with my contact information. He then informed me that it would be close to $700 for a reset and two keys. I told him I only wanted one. He proceeded to tell me that the car could not run without two keys (I had been using one for 5 years) He never once apologized. He didn't offer me anything for the extreme inconvenience I was put through. The front desk personnel, the face of the company, was rude and unhelpful. I became very angered and demanded to speak to a supervisor and felt deserving of some type of compensation for the inconvenience. He told me that they would not be doing anything for me. A total of 6 days without a car, several messages left with my phone number and the salesman was the only one who would try and help me. I Ubered my family and I to and from appointments and had groceries delivered to the house. In the end, a lot of unnecessary expenses were needed. I refused doing any business with them and decided to have my car towed back to my house. I called a locksmith, had him come to the house, make a key and reset the car for $175. That's a $525 savings. I will never go back to AutoNation again and neither will my friends and family. With one car payment left, it's a shame because I did like the dealer that sold me the car and he tried his hardest to make things right. We were talking about a new deal but after this experience, never again. read more

This place moved to 1030 Congress Avenue West Palm beach 4/21/18 debris on highway damaged shark finn type antenna on my roof.. Claim reported to State Farm Purchased my car at Lexus West Palm Beach (also AutoNation) dealer that does not have a onsite body shop center. Advised that by Lexus of West Palm they send vehicles for body work to Auto Nation Collision Center #2789. State Farm indicated that facility was part of their repair program. Called shop on Friday after reporting claim to State Farm. Vehicle damaged during repair process, Scott Fernandes at shop was advisor, he told me car repair was done. Went to pick it up and headliner was damaged, asked for manager advised not available (Matt Stone). Told headliner takes 10 days to obtain but I called Lexus WPB parts and they said available in 24 hours. Scott told me they "lied" to him. Put me back in rental and told me they would pay rental suring re-work. When I picked car up shop estimator Robert Bolbach present. He noted the windshield bubbles, trim not fit correct and said shop would call. they never call. I called State Farm after I found the shop had Hertz rental billed to my credit card. State Farm spoke to Scott who said they would credit my credit card in 3 days. Still not credited as of now. I asked to speak with a manager twice and the manger Matt Stone was not available nor did he contact me. My car has damage that the shop caused, I have been billed rental for the full days of the shop unsuccessfully trying to repair damage they created. Even the light in the drivers side door was hanging off when I picked it up and when State Farm told Scott he denied that anyone was in back of car. I am so frustrated.. two other shops I went to will not do corrective repair. I do not want to go back to that shop. I have made contact attempts by phone to Auto Nation Headquarters, (left message) , State Farm Claims, and plan to contact Lexus Corporate. Auto Nation of West Palm Beach damaged my car and I will not go back, State Farm is handling my claim on a team level and they are not standing behind the repairs although I keep calling. JM Lexus and Lexus of North Miami told me they do not do corrective repairs from other shops. I am not sure what my options are and looking for help. read more

Cadillac never lets me down! It took a little time but it was the insurance company not the collision department.

Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience with Autonation. They were recommended to me by my Lexus dealership so I expected superior service. I was told my car would take 3-4 days to finish. Autonation called me to let me know my car was ready, and to pick it up, I drove to pick it up and when I arrived they said oops we messed up the buffing job its not ready, so please go home and we will call you when its ready. Next day they call and say its ready, so I drive to pick it up and get there (2nd time) Oops we completely screwed up and added an extra 6 inch scrape/scratch to your repair. Okay we promise this wont happen again and now that it is Friday you will have to wait until Monday to get your car back. No call Monday, no call Tuesday, I called on Wednesday and finally got my car back. It would have been nice to get a courtesy call on Monday or Tuesday to let me know what was going on. Needless to say, the repair I was having done was almost smaller than the damage they did to my car. The repair was sufficient overall. I get it, stuff happens! I will just be trying another body shop next time hoping it does not happen to me. Everyone's time is important, I would have loved to save the driving time back and forth 3 times and aggravation of getting a ride, etc. My sister had recommended a friend, I wish I took her recommendation. read more
