Even with the drive disconnect cord pulled, the door simply could not be moved, trapping our car inside but also leaving a good enough tilted gap that animals or even a determined person could slip inside. Dave answered my plea for help that same evening and came out first thing the next morning, spending three hours unjamming the door, having to remove several parts, bend other parts back into shape, replaced the deteriorated steel cables on both sides of door and oiled everything up. I've been trying the last 10 days to get the technician to help me. And sadly since they made the 4000 Querns Garage is unavailable. When we spend this much money there is generally assistance provided anytime. And to make matters worse, the one person that is to assist you has such a lack of professionalism it astounds me. If you are going to say ' mam i will get back to you today with information of a new technician to be dispatched, no call back. I had to call back next day. Do what you say. Lastly when i asked to speak to the supervisor i was told i could not be given a contact number. What kind of business organization does not allow you to have direct communication with the supervisor. Sadly as much as i would like to be treated with respect and fairly by Queens Garage i do not have the time or bandwidth to take on this organization. A large window, but that's what you get when you're bound by warranty. The tech arrived at 5:54 PM--technically on time! And who was the tech? Alex! He knew immediately the spring was broken, but checked all around the garage to make sure there were no other issues with the rails and motor. He had the replacement in his truck, repaired it quickly, but still took the time to make adjustments and lubricate everything to make sure it runs smoothly. For a 14 year old garage, it was running better than ever! All the while, he was great to chat with about the home warranty industry and gave good advice on vendors and equipment. It was the best experience with a home warranty vendor that we have ever had. We were recently burned with property management referrals for garage repair.
