I needed to have the height/clearing of my garage raised and found a really positive A-Team Garage Door review where someone had the same issue, which they had resolved. I called Billy, the owner, and he was able to fit me in the next day. Billy gave me multiple options to work with and in the end, the resulting work was well-done, affordable and completely solved my problem. Billy's son, who performed the work, communicated everything that he was doing during the service call. It's somewhat rare to find a company that is honest and reliable, which is exactly what A-Team Garage Door is. Highly recommended and will definitely be using their service again. read more

I highly recommend the A Team. Reasonably priced. Knowledgeable. Responsive. This is the second time I've used them. Quick response from owner. Spring broke Wednesday night. Called them the next morning and tech came in the afternoon. Both springs were replaced within an hour. Also serviced rollers, tracks, chain and adjusted garage door opener. read more

Excellent customer service! When I called and said that my garage door wouldn't close at 4:00 pm, Andrew was at my condo within 15 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later, cables were replaced, a spring tension was added and the motor was aligned and programmed to my phone and garage door opener. This kind of service is appreciated in today's environment! read more

I've dealt with plenty of garage door guys but these guys are the BEST! Andrew is the only garage door specialist I'll ever use in Ventura county. He came highly recommended by my long time friend LowellEasley. The real estate king of the county. Andrew came to check out my failing opener and after a quick diagnosis of it being near death he replaced it with the latest greatest opener at a great price! I love it so much I'm gonna have him put one in place of the other older unit on my bigger door. Quick, efficient and fair! Three things that make them the best! read more

However, A-Team Garage Door contacted me back within 15 minutes even though they were closed. Andrew assisted me over the phone with how to get my vehicle out of the garage safely. He was then able to come out the next business day to replace the my springs at a price significantly less than another company. I cannot express how happy I am with the service I received from The A Team Garage Door company. They provided superb service, installation, and parts at incredibly competitive prices. To be frank, it was several hundred dollars less than what I was expecting to pay. They quickly removed my old door and installed the new one. Afterwards they cleaned up and Andrew took the time to review with me important instructions, maintenance, and warranty information. This is a family run business that sincerely cares about their customers. After the install, Billy contacted me to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks guys, everything went great. read more

I called a few places that wanted to charge me $150+ just to come out. I then called A Team Garage door and spoke to Andrew. He came out free of charge that same day. He gave me a quote for the garage door and answered all my questions. By the weekend the new garage door was installed. Very knowledgeable, communicative, reasonably priced and reliable. I highly recommend. read more

Needed to replace just my garage door (not the motor) and Bill came out quickly and did a great job. Upgraded my door from a single-sided door with window panels to a double-sided door with window panels, at a very reasonable price. And I love no longer being able to see spiders living in my door! He was friendly and knowledgeable. read more

The A Team Garage Door Co. did a great job today replacing 2 springs (2x225). They were quick to respond, and schedule an appointment. They told me exactly how much they would charge before they came out and changed exactly that. The springs came with a 3 year warranty such that if they break within 3 years, they will be replaced free of charge including parts and labor, though they expect the springs will likely last 8 - 10 years. I asked many for quotes. The A Team, was the best price for this warranty, though some charged less with less of a warranty and some charged more for more of a warranty. If I need more garage work in the Oxnard area, I will definitely contact them again. read more

The A Team Garage Door - Thank - Garage Door Services Near Me

About a month ago my garage door got stuck and burned out the motor. I looked on yelp for garage door repairman and found a few listings. I had two companies come out including The A Team. Billy and his son Andrew were on a job site but they were able to pass by as a last stop on their way home. Billy and Andrew were both very professional, courteous and this goes without saying, knowledgeable! They gave us all sorts of different options to include replacing the door all together with a newer style considering our old door was 20+ years old. There was no up sell or pressure to buy! We decided to replace the door with a spanking new insulated one and also a top of the line motor with all the bells and whistles (battery backup, wifi, keypad). Billy gave us an amazing deal! Hands down beat Lowes and Home Depot by 50% off their quote. We put in our order and about 2 weeks later Billy set up the install date. Keep in mind the 2 weeks was the order time for the manufacturer to make the door with all the options we had chosen (window style, glass style) BIlly was on time and ready to work on install day. Between himself and his helper, they had the install done in about 5 hours. Our situation was not an average garage door install, he had to make the opening wider by cutting the old trim off, trimming cement on the base, and even notching the header. The new setup is amazingly clean! you can definitely tell that he knows what hes doing and take the time to make it look great, as if hes doing this for his own house! Bottom line: The A team garage doors is true to its name, they went above and beyond with this job and the wife and myself are super pleased with the results. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a garage door or motor. I will doing business with them again for sure! Thanks again Bill and Joey. read more

My friend Aida highly recommended this father & son team so we called Bill (father) and his son Andrew showed up. Our garage door was installed incorrectly from the very beginning because of a beam and Andrew explained why our door needs to be replaced. At a very young age, Andrew is very knowledgeable, polite and knows the meaning of customer satisfaction. He even came back the same day to tell me a better approach on how he can install the door without damaging the support beam in the garage. Anyway, today they installed the garage door and I am very pleased with it. I highly recommend this company and I highly recommend you call Andrew. They have always been so responsive, show up when they say they will, and complete work quickly. They just fixed a broken spring, and a few days later our door completely came off the track. I've been relying on The A Team to keep my garage doors running properly for almost 15 years and multiple homes. Once again they came to the rescue and replaced all rollers, parts that were damaged when one of the rollers came off the track and got the door running like new again. I've never been felt I was being sold, which is rare for contractors. Billy's team will assess the issue and tell you what you need. Even when I ask about replacing the lift or other parts they will let you know there is still life left in them. Thanks for the continued great service. read more

Fast friendly and very good price for a new garage door, motor and key pad. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Broke a window on my old door and called The A Team. I had their number stored in my phone from a previous job they had taken care of. I was quoted a great price to replace the entire door rather that fix the existing door (which I was also quoted a great price if I opted to just fix the existing one). I went for the new one since it was an upgrade and my wife always pointed to garage doors she liked when we went on walks. Billy and the A Team did a great job replacing the old door with the new one and were very responsive to all my questions. I highly recommend these guys if you are having any garage door issues. read more

Had a garage door installed in June 2020. Process was smooth. Shortly after, I reached out to ask for a handle to be installed to open the door if the power happens to go out. We had a very old garage door that needed to be replaced, and I am so glad I went with the A Team. They were excellent from start to finish. I received quotes from four different garage door companies. Not only was A Team the lowest, they made sure I had all the info needed to make the best selection for our home. On top of that, all my concerns (about windows, insulation, heat from east-facing windows, etc,) were addressed. 8 years ago A Team was recommended to me. I needed to replace my old garage doors and noisy openers. They did a great job and really upgraded my old garage doors and openers. Just today I noticed one of the doors was making some vibration noise and called Bill to take a look. His son showed up within a few hours and did a great job! Very professional and really knew what he was talking about. He serviced both doors, adjusting the tension on the springs, tightening any loose bolts and lubing the tracks. My doors are good as new and running smoothly and quietly.
