My garage door was beginning to sound like a roller coaster ride, so I reached out to a GDM. It was easy to schedule an appointment within the week. The tech showed up on time and was really personable. I had not serviced my garage door in over a year. I could have been easily convinced to do whatever, even sold on replacing my door, based on the way it sounded. The service fee and suggested replacement of my bearings was reasonable. Everything was clearly explained and I felt good with how great my garage door sounded, as well as the price I paid. Thanks for making my garage door sound brand new! My neighbors thank you as well. read more

Requested Anthony to come and repair a garage door opener that was not working. He lied about the cost of the garage door opener that was currently installed, charged an astronomical price for minimal work and was generally dishonest about what needed to be done. I will never hire this company again. I wish I had never hired them. He did give a free estimate, but was constantly trying to upcharge and add items to the bill. read more

Anthony was able to come out to fix our door within a couple of hours of our call. He had the parts to fix the door in 2 places - the door itself and the drive mechanism. He then adjusted and calibrated the door mechanism and lubricated all moving parts. Done in an hour and the door works like new - all this for a very fair price. We couldn't be happier with the results and Anthony is now on our preferred list for repairs. Thanks Anthony ! . Dave read more

Garage Door Mechanics - Replaced the dented panel. - Garage Door Services Near Me

Was very informative. Pricing was detailed and confirmed my suspicions I had been cheated by another business.

Highly recommend Anthony from Garage Door Mechanics for any service call small or large. He services, repairs and installs all types of garage doors from residential to commercial. My garage door is 6 years old and started to make squeaking noises every time we used it. Before calling Anthony, I used WD40 and that worked temporarily. Anthony came out and used a higher end lubricant and applied it to many more moving parts that I wasn't even aware of was apart of moving my door up & down. He also applied another special lubricant along the rod to make my door glide smoothly as it lifts. He's truly honest, easy to work with, professional and On-Time! My Appointment was at 10a on Memorial Day and he was a few min early! He even took the time to show me what I can do to prevent a sooner than later service call by doing some of the general maintenance myself. read more

Anthony is the best! He arrived on time to service my garage door. Unfortunately the squeaking I heard was much more involved...I had a broken spring. Within an hour the broken spring and it's match were replaced, the surrounding supports repaired and Anthony was out the door! Fair price, prompt service. I highly recommend Anthony Salas. read more

I've spent several years dipping my toe into replacing my Garage Door. I'd find a contractor, call, and find out they didn't want to do anything to sell me a door. They'd tell me to send pics, and go online to see what I Wanted to order. Not Anthony, he came right out, told us what we needed to do to fix the garage to accommodate a roll up (we had a 50 yr old tilt up). As we would come up with questions and idea's we would text Anthony, and he would always reply. He was out a couple of more times, my wife wanted a custom door, he made it happen. On the day of installation, he showed up right on time, and got to work. This guy knows what he's doing, very efficient, and by mid afternoon we had our door, and we love it. read more

Anthony came to my condo and explained to me what was needed to fix my garage door opener. I highly recommend him and his company. He did the job quickly and professionally. He didn't try to up sell me, as I have experienced in the past with other companies. When I'm ready to scrap my old wooden garage door, Anthony is the guy I want to install a new roll up door. Thanks Anthony for an awesome experience! read more

Anthony seriously takes a high level of pride in his work, as he should! In less than 20 minutes from contacting him he stopped by, assessed my needs and provided an honest estimate of TRULY what was needed. Another "who shall remain unnamed" company came by earlier, did not even touch one thing, provided a "you need a new motor and springs" estimate on the back of a sticker darn close to 2K. Done, fixed, written estimate, invoice, and paid receipt all in less than 24 hours! Now who you gonna call? That's right! GARAGE DOOR MECHANICS read more

Anthony was willing to come on Sunday since his Saturday was booked up. I told him I didn't want to interfere with his Sunday so he showed up first thing Monday morning. He communicated via text the approximate time that he would be here and arrived as promised. He inspected our garage door opener and discovered what I had feared, the gears had worn down over the 30 years of use. He explained our options thoroughly. I usually do not write reviews on yelp but this is one time that I feel compelled to. My garage door opener died and I cannot manually operate the door. Unlike other garage door repair businesses which gave me a week + appointment, Anthony squeezed me in the day I called. He was friendly, professional and prompt. He gave me options and provided a quote. His price is competitive and was less than what we were expecting. Within one hour, I had a working garage door which Anthony synced with my car. I definitely recommend Anthony read more

I tried a DYI replacement of a broken torsion cable. Looked so easy on YouTube! But, as I found out when Anthony arrived, the broken cable released the tension on one of the garage main springs, so my DYI effort was a no go! He had the right tools and know-how to do what can be a dangerous fix. He also walked me through some things to look for and suggested a tuneup visit next year. No hard sell or "discovery" of things that weren't broken or in need of repair. I will call Anthony again for any garage door issues and will gladly recommend him to friends and associates with garage door needs. Thanks, Anthony! read more
