For a buffet it was sad. The food I did chose was also mostly cold and could tell it was there for awhile. After my second plate I noticed there was not much left at all and there were still people coming in to sit down. I had no idea what they were going to eat. So thank goodness for the food service because my cup never went empty but the food was not good.

I wanted to make sure she understood what I meant and she just cuts me off and says "yes I know what you mean" in such a bitchy way. So here's my review, service is trash like her attitude. Also, their pho is straight up garbage. Nothing authentic about this "viet" pho. Broth tasted like straight up soy sauce in hot water just as the way it looks. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Horrible place.

For appetizers, we ordered a Fresh Speing Roll, Crab Rangoon (made with imitation crab, as stated on their menu), and a special Crispy Roll, which I would describe as Nam Khao in roll form, still served with Romaine lettuce wraps. All were very good, and we would order them again. The spring roll had a ham stick in it, which was different than any other spring roll I've had. For entrees, we ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the Pho with Oxtail, which was also a Sunday special. The Pad Thai was slightly sweet, and they used pho noodles for it. The Pho broth was among the most rich and flavorful I've ever had, and the oxtails were among the most tender and delicious I've ever had! The pho also had meatballs and steak in it. The menu is mostly Southeast Asian, and seems to accommodate all tastes. I would dine there again, and I recommend it!

Chef Greg was so kind and completely catered to my dietary restrictions. I could tell that he genuinely wanted to make my experience great, and he completely delivered on that. The flavors are bold, rich, and inviting. The broth feels like a warm hug, and it is hard to not smile when you taste it. The environment of the restaurant is unique and exciting as well. It's small enough to be an intimate experience while still having your own space to enjoy the meal. We will certainly be visiting again, even if it means making the hour drive just to have some ramen!

We got there not long after 4pm on a Monday and I'd say it was 3/4 full. It's a very small place so I imagine it fills up regularly. Very cool vibe in there. We sat at the bar. The people there were overall very nice and friendly. I opted for the braised beef mazeman ramen. It was superb! I'd say better than most ramen I've had in WI. The smoked bone marrow butter made it particularly rich and delicious. So yeah, finally made it to Tochi and sure glad I did!

The soup was not good, no flavor at all missing galangal, lemon grass flavor, no vegetable except a few mushroom and white onion. The worst tom kha soup I ever had, and it was $14, absolutely not worth it. The noodle dish was very greasy, vegetable egg rolls were okay but the sweet and sour sauce straight from the store shelf. I won't return to this restaurant, and I can't recommend it as a genuine Thai food.
