We've had them complete multiple projects for us including replacing rotted porch posts that were originally directly touching the cement. Ethan recommended raising new posts off the cement. The replaced posts look great and are now protected from moisture on the ground when it rains. He also painted them and all the soffits and trim on our house. We also had Prestige rebuild our iron and wood fence gate, which had become rotted over many years. It looks fantastic. In our kitchen, we had Prestige take down a large protruding decorative box around our vent hood which kept resulting in head bumps. He also replaced the vent hood, built out new trim around it and stained it to match the existing cabinets. We are so pleased with all of the work done at our house. Paradise Construction and Remodeling or Preston McGuire owner nor would I hire them to do any kind of work or recommend him to anyone. All I can say is beware of A. Paradise Construction and Remodeling if you're in need of any kind of work to be done and considering them. On 8/23/2017, I signed a contract with A. Paradise Construction and Remodeling, Preston McGuire owner at, 10648 Towerwood Dr.. Ft. Worth, TX. 76140 Ph. no. 817-713-5479, to remodel a small bathroom. This contract carried a 4 year warranty against workmanship and leaks. The work consisted of; 1. Remove and replace when complete the vanity and towel .2. Some minor construction work on the shower door opening, replace the shower value (which we furnished), remove all the existing tile and backer board replace with hardy board type backer board retile the shower walls and floor. 3. Retile the bathroom floor. 4. Texture the bathroom walls and repaint. All work was to be completed 4 to 5 days no more than a week. Work started on 8/ 29. Preston McGuire's step brother Ryan Little, owner of RL Construction & Remodeling out of Lawton, OK. Ph. no. 580-559-3722 did all the work. Due to him having personal and business problems in Oklahoma there were a lot of delays, after installing the shower floor Ryan had to pull it up and retile due to poor quality cut tile around shower drain. Most of the work was completed on around Thur. 9/28/17. Ryan Little, had some personal problems in Oklahoma so I agreed to grout the shower floor and reset the towel so he could be in Oklahoma on Friday the 29th. . I had some paint work to do plus have the granite vanity top installed so we didn't use the shower until 10/20/17, at which time I discovered the shower didn't have any water pressure and hardly any hot water. Plus the shower floor wouldn't drain properly. The center drain was higher than rest of the floor allowing up to ¼" of water stand in shower that wouldn't drain and it seemed like the drain itself had a blockage (possible due to some of the material falling into the drain when Ryan tore out the old shower pan). I have scheduled a plumper to look at this situation/problem this week. The cost of the contract with A. Paradise Construction and Remodeling was $2600.00. A $1000.00 up front and the balance when the job was finished, which we paid to Ryan Little on 9/28. This was before we knew we had these problems. And it appears the 4 year warranty isn't worth the paper it written on. I started trying to get in touch with Preston and Ryan on 10/21. Called every day the following week. As far as Preston McGuire, one day they answered and hung up, every other time it went to voice mail but it was full and you couldn't, leave a message. With Ryan, I left a message every day but never got a return call On 10/24/2017 I called Home Advises who originally listed A. Paradise Construction as a reliable contractor. They told me they had dropped him from their listing as a reliable contractor and had not been able to get in touch with them.I also filed a complaint with the Ft. Worth BBB early Dec. Talked with both Home Adviser and the BBB on l/ 12/2018 neither had gotten a response from Preston McGuire by phone or e-mail.

DELAYS, FALSE REPRENSENTATIONON, AND POOR COMMUNICATION!!!! NOT RECOMMENDATED!!! In July 2025, we…read moreadvertised a construction job on Yelp to enclose our existing back porch with two walls of windows from floor to ceiling and an eight' sliding glass door. In essence, we wanted it to turn it into a modern-looking sunroom. They were confident they could build it, so we contracted with them to do it as soon as we had HOA approval and obtained a city building permit. They required 50% payment upfront so they could special-order the custom windows and door. After we obtained HOA approval, Mike Davis came to our house and said they can't build it per the contract drawing and tried to persuade us to accept something that had almost as much solid walls as windows, no transom windows, and no more floor to ceiling windows, but with material you could buy from almost any home improvement store. His reasoning was the transom windows would not fit even though he put them on the contract diagram we had all approved. Also, the proposed windows would be narrower and would not be floor to ceiling saying the city building code wouldn't allow it. He also said they could not get the color window frames we wanted, and the frames would be vinyl instead of aluminum as promised. Most of his excuses were found to be incorrect. It was not what we contracted for them to do. This upset us very much and we told his business partner this was probably breach of contract and we wanted our money back so we could hire a different contractor. After we rejected his cheap imitation of what we wanted, we found out his business applied for a building permit with his new drawing, not the contract drawing, and not what the HOA had approved and without our approval. Afterwards, and months of negotiations, they hired a SUBcontractor to do the job. A design with floor to ceiling windows with a large eight' sliding glass door. After many delays, in mid November 2025, the subcontractor installed the sliding glass door and windows. Everything was acceptable except for the screen doors that didn't fit well and had a hole rubbed in the screen. The SUBcontractor said he would have the manufacturer replace the screen doors and would return and install them within 2 weeks. Razcomm was paid in full the following day. In the meantime, it rained and water flooded into the house under the window frame. This was reported to Jason, the business partner, to relay to the subcontractor to fix. The subcontractor never returned to do anything. According to Jason, the subcontractor would not respond to his texts. Finally, after months of requesting every other week for someone to fix the leak and the screens, Mike came and put caulk under the frame to stop it from leaking. He said he would fix the hole in the screen but never returned. He and Jason were blaming everything on subcontractor, but our contract is with Razcomm--not the subcontractor. As of today, their website on google could not be reached and neither Mike nor his business partner answer texts or email from us.
