The quality, as promised, was lacking where the high gloss paint was used, and not done to our satisfaction. Yes, there was a problem, but there was also a happy ending! Based on past experiences with other companies, we figured they would push back against our complaints, and move on without rectifying the situation. Luckily, that was not the case. One of the most important qualities in any company's owners, is integrity. The owner here stood behind his work, and had a very experienced painter come back to completely redo the high gloss areas that were done incorrectly. It looks beautiful now! He also explained that since this job, they have taken steps to change some of their practices to improve in the future. Every company should take advantage of learning experiences, take accountability for mistakes, and put the customer first. Stubbins Painting is one of those companies. This sort of real integrity is rare, and is what makes me comfortable in recommending them!

He would provide updates and let me know when they said they would be there--and they were there at those times. If I had a question, he would quickly respond with a substantive answer or give me a call. I appreciated that. Miguel and Medina are a fantastic duo and they worked really hard on the details and ensuring the job came out right. I was very impressed. They are also very friendly with a lot of experience. Its been a month since the job was finished and they have NO customer service skills. We now will have to pay someone else to fix the overspray, the drip marks all over our red brick, praying it comes out, and replacing destroyed landscaping and then go to small claims court to get reimbursed. They should be embarrassed treating anyone, and especially senior citizens this way.
