Needed to re-key my door knob locks so they all matched. Did a search on Yelp for a locksmith and A1A 24/7 Locksmith was the closest and had excellent reviews. Spoke to Nathan and he quoted me unbelievable prices. I know this because I've called other locksmiths in the past and hesitated because of their high quotes. Nathan had a technician at my house within 15 minutes. All locks were re-keyed super fast and even threw in a couple extra keys. After the technician left, I realized that I forgot to have the door knob lock to my garage re-keyed. I disassembled the lock and brought it to his shop. Nathan said the lock was different and couldn't be re-keyed to match the others in my house. He pulled out a box with used door knobs and re-keyed one to match within a few minutes. A1A was so wonderful to work with. He made it easy to book an appointment that worked with my schedule and was able to come out on a Saturday. Nathan showed up right on time and was wearing a mask and gloves. He was incredibly knowledgeable about different types of locks and explained to me a little about the particular lock I had and why a certain key would work better than another kind. He was very transparent about the cost difference (which was only a couple of dollars) and in no way tried to upsell me. Nathan worked quickly and even explored additional security options for my door. When he gave me the final price (which included the better keys and the additional security lock), I was shocked that it was about 1/5 of the price of the last company that changed my locks. I was so pleasantly surprised that I asked again to make sure he was including all of the parts and labor. In the future, I will only use A1A for my locksmith needs. We drove 3 hours to pick my disabled mother-in-law up from the facility she was in and discovered that we left the key to her house back home. Nathan is THE BEST! Hands down, no questions asked. On my way into my house, i dropped my car key down an elevator shaft... -_- ...i know. My Girlfriend had a big audition in the morning and the car was needed. I called him at around 7pm, he came TO MY HOUSE by 9pm. Nathan is an AMAZING locksmith and an even better person. Nathan answered every question I had in regards to getting new locks for my house, and this was even before I hired him. When I did, he was early and the work he did was impeccable. He even showed me how to reset my garage door opener so I didn't have to call a garage place separately. What impressed me the most about Nathan and easily made me a loyal customer of his, was when my wife locked herself out of our house with our toddler and newborn kids inside. I called Nathan and he dropped everything and rushed over to help, giving me constant updates as to how far away he was. My wife ended up getting into the house, and when I called Nathan to let him know he was genuinely happy and relieved. OK - I really didn't believe all these yelp reviews until my own experience. This guy is nothing short of magical. I called him on a Sunday about a jammed door lock. He said he could be at my place in 15 minutes or so. I hung up the phone checked a few emails and then heard the doorbell ring - was this a joke?
