I haven't used this company for their pest services, but I did have to suffer through the ungodly loud sound emanating from one of their trucks with a modified muffler idling for ten minute from two houses away! Two houses away! Fix your truck(s) and be more professional. This is a neighborhood not drag racing track. I couldn't recommend this company enough. They come in, they take care of business both inside and outside. We've dealt with a couple of the well known companies in the past and they come in and then tell you to empty and completely clean out every cabinet and drawer before they'll even start work. It's a major headache. A1 tells you to just leave everything alone. They have made a couple of quick follow up visits and we have not seen one pest inside our home since their first visit. When new wasp nests pop up on our patio, they're happy to get rid of them for us. We needed their help during the beginning of COVID, and wore masks for the original visit and every follow-up visit. I am so glad my husband decided call this company over the big names. I emailed several pest-control companies to request a quote for helping my family get rid of fleas. I mean, we were infested to the point where my kids began looking like they had chickenpox. This came about when we took in a stray cat from our neighborhood (and unfortunately her entire colony of fleas). Liz is one of maybe five companies who responded with the other companies quoting me around $700 to take care of the problem, and with no guarantees. I'm sorry but I'm not paying $700 for anything that doesn't have a guarantee attached to it! Liz was the only company who responded with something other than an estimate, entirely. She laid out a program that she had developed herself for how to eliminate fleas without clouding your family, children and pets in a mass of chemicals. She also took my phone number down and called me promptly the next day to go over. We talked for probably about an hour! I can't tell you how much help she has provided my family, and a zero cost. It's been less than a month later and we have almost completely annihilated all of the fleas. I am continuing her regimen and expect to see none of the buggers in the next couple of weeks! Seriously... this woman who was responding to my request for a quote; came and saved my family from this horrible infestation and at no cost. I can't thank her enough! This will definitely be the company I contact if I ever need help with any pest of any kind because she made it clear that family matters more to her than money. She insisted I could take care of the problem without introducing potentially harmful chemicals to my children and she absolutely delivered on her promise. We have been using A-1 since 2011 and have always had exceptional service! The technicians and owners are consistently professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We have been especially impressed with Red the technician, who is attentive to our concerns and is incredibly thorough when treating our house. When we have had any questions ( regarding safety of chemicals while pregnant and safety for small children/pets), Liz has been very patient and helpful while answering all of our questions. Additionally, the pricing is fair and they come back for free in between services if you have any pest problems. Instead of doing some admin work to collect a bill you'd rather get an aggressive debt collector to do your dirty work for you, putting your customers financial stability at risk. We love A1 Pest Control! They are very responsive and professional. When we first moved into our home there were wasps everywhere. They were eradicated immediately around the house and in our yard. In the spring, our ant hills have always been a concern with our kids and this service eliminates them as well. We have been with this service for three years and are very pleased. Brian always lets us know he is here for the service and asks for any concerns we might have. We even had a squirrel stuck in our attic and they helped us try and get the squirrel out. This is my first yelp review and first time using an exterminator. After battling a war against fleas from June thru October I had to give in and call in the big guns. I have two small children and two indoor cats. I wanted to use the least harmful chemicals and treat the animals so as not to expose my 2 and 4 yr old to anything harmful. I gave it my all but my 4 yr old is so allergic to bites and there was a resurgence so I had to call someone for help. A1 has been amazing. So so so easy to work with. I called and they got to my house in 2 days. I'm a working mom so I left a key and they sprayed. The second time they were there I forgot to put the cats in the garage and they did it for me because they were very concerned about their well being. One cat is as mean as can be and they took care of it for us. They are a small business but the professionalism, care, concern and the time they spent consulting and providing advice to me was priceless. I cannot recommend a better company. In September, I moved into condo and immediately discovered a bed bug infestation.
