I appreciated how the pricing was a very straight-forward flat rate for each window, which includes interior / exterior / screen cleaning. We had 60+ windows cleaned which was a very long job for only 2 crew members, but they were professional, courteous and stayed until the wee hours to get it done and done right. They managed to reach some very difficult windows and glass panels, and quickly addressed any issues that were noticed during our walk through. We would use them again!

How much does cleaning solar panels improve their output?…read more I had my solar panels cleaned recently by @sudandsqueegie. I had them cleaned only a few months earlier by another company, but I recleaned them because two panels were producing lower output and looked obviously dirty. The other panels did not look like they needed cleaning. I was surprised to see that the cleaning improved the output of all the panels from an average of about 340 Wh per panel to about 540 Wh, an increase of about 58%! The first picture is a drone shot of the panels, showing the two panels that were obviously dirty. The first panel picture shows the output of all panels before cleaning, and the second panel picture shows the output after cleaning. The panel output measurements were taken within 1 hour of each other at around 1 pm. It was a partially overcast day, so the output is usually much greater. However, it shows the amount of improvement possible with simple cleaning of the panels, despite them not appearing obviously dirty to the naked eye. It turns out the two panels that looked obviously dirty had cracks in the glass surface, and most of the discoloration was dirt that had seeped underneath the glass coating and could not be removed by cleaning. Surprisingly, not only did the surface cleaning of the two "dirty panels" improve, but it also improved the other panels that did not look like they needed cleaning! The original company that did the cleaning used a brush on a long pole to drip deionized water onto the panels. @sudandsqueegee used a long pole with two rotating brushes, which seemed to be more effective. They were very efficient and professional in their work. I recommend them highly.

We had…read morethe front 1,000 sq. ft. of the house washed, along with the solar panels on our two-story home, and the difference was incredible. The roof had noticeable staining from the palms and surrounding vegetation, and after the cleaning it made a huge difference in the overall appearance of the house, especially as you approach from the front. Everything looks much cleaner, brighter, and better maintained. The service was professional, the results were exactly what we were hoping for, and the improvement was very noticeable. I would definitely recommend Clean Clear Services SD for roof washing and solar panel cleaning.

**15% immediate increase in solar production**…read more I had the pleasure of working with Jason Waldie of Clean and Clear Solar and Window Cleaning Services to clean my 18 solar panels, which had not been cleaned since 2021, as well as three skylights. Jason came highly recommended and I can absolutely see why. From start to finish he was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain the entire process. He answered every question I had and even provided before and after photos that speak for themselves. After the cleaning I measured a 15% increase in my solar production, proof that keeping panels clean really does make a difference. Jason's attention to detail was impressive and he clearly takes pride in his work. It is obvious that Clean and Clear cares about delivering top quality results. This experience has made them my go to for any exterior cleaning needs and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. If you have solar panels, do yourself a favor and get them cleaned at least once a year. You will see the difference in both appearance and performance.

Scheduling was easy and the basic exterior cleaning work was okay, but unfortunately the…read morefollow-through was disappointing. The crew removed the upstairs window screens as part of the cleaning. According to the company, they were still responsible for cleaning the screens, but they had arranged for my interior cleaners, who were working at the house at the same time, to put the screens back afterward. The problem is that the upstairs screens were never cleaned in the first place, and my interior cleaners said they were never told or asked to reinstall them. After everyone left, I discovered the upstairs screens were still dirty and had been left off the windows. When I contacted the company to resolve the issue, I was told they could not come back because the property was too far away and they did not have any other jobs in the area. I was also unable to personally inspect the windows and screens after they were eventually reinstalled. The current occupants are now telling me that some of the screens appear to be bent. Since I wasn't able to inspect them immediately after the cleaning, I can't say exactly when or how that happened, but it adds to the frustration of how the screens were handled and the lack of follow-through. Regardless of who was supposedly responsible for putting the screens back, cleaning them was part of the exterior company's work and that was not completed. There also appears to have been poor communication regarding who was responsible for reinstalling them. Overall, scheduling was easy and the basic cleaning was fine, but leaving the screens dirty and removed, followed by an unwillingness to return and correct the issue, was disappointing. Based on my experience, I would recommend using a different company.

Recent winter storms were just not enough to get them thoroughly clean and producing as much power as possible. Sent a text to Evergreen Solar Clean and other companies to get some quotes. Most other companies did not service my area and the one that did was way out of the ballpark! Evergreen Solar Clean was a lot more competitive with their bid and I decided to make an appointment. Blake was able to get me on their schedule and gave me a three hour time frame. About thirty mins. before my appointment, I received a text that his technician, PJ, was on the way. PJ promptly showed up at my door and after short introductions, started getting all his equipment ready and got to work. What I really loved about Evergreen Solar clean is that they use deionized water that they carry on their trucks and Sola-Tec roller brush cleaners, which are rolling brushes attached to wheels that glide across the solar panels with the deionized water flowing through them. You have to checkout their website to see this in action, it's amazing! PJ got to work and maybe about an hour later, he was all done and my solar panels look like they're brand new! I was so impressed with the job that I went ahead and signed up for twice yearly cleanings, just to ensure that my solar panels are producing as much power as possible and to keep them looking clean and shiny on my roof!
