To start, Steve came to our home a few weeks ago and after reviewing our property, gave us a folder with a little biography, along with a quote and a color chart. Right away, everything felt extremely professional and homely. I could tell by the folder and the way he described his company that he is passionate about what he does. He also mentioned that his two sons handle the installations, which I thought was great since it was a family run business. Initially, we had actually agreed to go with another company until I realized the other company's license was suspended because both their worker's comp and insurance expired. When I checked The Gutter Connection's license, I saw that there had NEVER been a lapse in insurance or workers' comp, which pretty much sealed the deal for me. We scheduled an appointment, and Steve's sons arrived today. They were polite, well dressed, and professional. My husband and I were happy right away. During the job, they pointed out that one of the original plans for diverting water wouldn't work as expected. We agreed upon an alternative and it turned out beautifully. After the work was done, we walked around the house and were thrilled with how clean, seamless, and beautiful everything looked. I honestly can't recommend these guys enough. I had bought a power washer from BestBuy and tried to do it myself, but it took me an entire Saturday to literally do a quarter of what he did in almost four hours. Fito/KC Power Clean uses steam, some light chemicals (or you can say no) and industrial power wash equipment. I was also very impressed by how he cleaned the dirt splatter off the walls, and did an excellent job. My driveway and patio looked brand new! Kevin followed up asking how the service went, and sending me before and after pictures, which was another professional touch. I'd recommend looking at their Youtube channel and watching what these guys are about. They seem to take care of their employees, their customers, and are growing the business, which is nice to see. I could have paid someone else less to use Lowes/HomeDepot pressure wash equipment and chemicals or simple green, and my patio would have looked just a bit better. But considering this is licensed, insured, and the equipment on the truck was professional (for example, they have some motor on it that heats the water to make the steam, and a machine that could wind the hose back up), I felt that there was significant value. I will be using them again for other services and have already recommended them to my parents and my neighbor. I will also be referring them to my HOA to do their pressure washing. Thank you!!

You answer the questions about type, number, style of windows, number of glass doors, information about mullions, screens, transoms, etc. (It took me a few minutes to go around the house and really look at my windows.) My quote was the price. Justin came on the appointment day at the appointment hour and worked non-stop to clean inside windows, screens and outside windows. He was here for 3.5 hours. He took extra care with damaged screens and windows with mineral buildup. I recommend this service. How much does cleaning solar panels improve their output?…read more I had my solar panels cleaned recently by @sudandsqueegie. I had them cleaned only a few months earlier by another company, but I recleaned them because two panels were producing lower output and looked obviously dirty. The other panels did not look like they needed cleaning. I was surprised to see that the cleaning improved the output of all the panels from an average of about 340 Wh per panel to about 540 Wh, an increase of about 58%! The first picture is a drone shot of the panels, showing the two panels that were obviously dirty. The first panel picture shows the output of all panels before cleaning, and the second panel picture shows the output after cleaning. The panel output measurements were taken within 1 hour of each other at around 1 pm. It was a partially overcast day, so the output is usually much greater. However, it shows the amount of improvement possible with simple cleaning of the panels, despite them not appearing obviously dirty to the naked eye. It turns out the two panels that looked obviously dirty had cracks in the glass surface, and most of the discoloration was dirt that had seeped underneath the glass coating and could not be removed by cleaning. Surprisingly, not only did the surface cleaning of the two "dirty panels" improve, but it also improved the other panels that did not look like they needed cleaning! The original company that did the cleaning used a brush on a long pole to drip deionized water onto the panels. @sudandsqueegee used a long pole with two rotating brushes, which seemed to be more effective. They were very efficient and professional in their work. I recommend them highly.

The picture they took did show some debris, so we opted for additional gutter cleaning. Towards the end, they pointed out that our window screens had some holes in them and they said they could replace them overnight and bring them back the next day. So we also opted to do that. In total, with added gutter cleaning and screens repair (10 screens total), the service ended up being doubled the original quote for only window cleaning. It wasn't exactly what we had budgeted but sometimes home maintenance requires the additional expenses. These guys were easy to work with, they communicated well and were professionals. They provided the services that they said they would provide. I was happy with the cleaning in all. It is important to give young people opportunities to make it in business, I am glad to give my business to a couple of young hard working individuals.
