I called for a windshield replacement and actually shopped around and A1 had the best deal! The owner was very kind, cordial and courteous and helped me quickly get it replaced. Seamless process & transaction. They were on time and the installation process was a breeze. Installer said 1 hour and it took exactly 1 hour. Highly recommend. read more

Very excited to be able to see out of my windshield again! I didn't realize truly how bad my windshield was until I got it fixed. I called at 8pm. Lucky was scheduled for service the next day between 10am-12pm. I received a call at 10 AM stating that the technician was at my home. I live in an apartment complex so I have to go outside to let him in to the gate, roll down my windows and he told me he would be done in about an hour. I went back inside got a call about 45 minutes later stating that my service was done I went outside and paid them and now I have a brand new windshield!! Price and convenience was so much better at this shop than any other place I looked around at. I would definitely recommend A1 to everyone that needs a windshield replacement or any type of auto body glass repairs read more

A1 Auto Glass - New windshield you cant even see it - Auto Glass Services Near Me

Very kind, gave a quote on the phone and confirmed in person. Later when we found out the window cost a little bit more than the original the owner stuck by his quote. Highly recommended, can fix your window the same day and the cheapest price in Cypress! He even called me back to let me know I left my scooter in his store after I left with my car. Great guy! read more

I had that, "OH $#*T" moment on the freeway, you know when you're driving behind a big rig and a huge rock comes crashing into your windshield. I didn't know how much it would cost to replace it. By the time I got home, the crack branched out and only 3 inches of the windshield was NOT cracked. The first thing I thought was call my insurance. Well, I would have to pay my deductible and that costs more than replacing the windshield. I called the dealer and it would cost about $500+installation. I called 15+ glass replacement shops (Orange County and La County locations) and I learned some important lessons: Lesson #1) Mobile service should be included by most places. If they charge you, they are hustling you. Yes, HUSTLING YOU. (Mobile service means they come out to any location to install the new windshield) One company quoted me with an additional $15 for a mobile fee. I'd suggest going with another company. Lesson #2) Call several places to get the BEST price. I was quoted from $295 all the way down to $135. The cheapest quote was from A1 Auto Parts & Auto Glass. Keep calling places and let them know you are calling around. They want your business and they can ALWAYS go lower. I noticed when I would receive a quote, I'd say, "Thank you, I'll call back. I'm checking prices with other places." That would automatically get them to drop their prices anywhere from $10-$15 from the first quote. Lesson #3) Check the company websites for coupons. Some companies offer $5-$10 off if you mention their website promo. So, that may be another option into saving money. So, back to A1 Auto Parts & Auto Glass. The windshield I purchased was NOT the factory product; however it is one that is recommended from the actual dealer as a replacement. There are cheaper versions that are made in China, do not purchase these. You can purchase the factory one, but it is more. My purchase was $135 total and it includes a lifetime warranty. They came to my work to install it during my lunch hour. They took away the old broken windshield and discarded it. I'm happy with the service they provided. The gentleman on the phone who helped me was very helpful and didn't pressure me at all. He told me he'd do it for $135 and he understood that I was calling around to get the best price. The customer service and the installation process was great and simple. The installation took less time than me calling around and getting quotes. So, check this place out, they are fair. These are the reviews I read before I made my purchase with them: http://www.yellowpages.com/cypress-ca/mip/a-1-auto-glass-and-auto-parts-12933103 read more

I don't write reviews often. If you look at my history you will see there has only been a few instances where I express my feelings on yelp. This place rates A+... The courtesy which comes with the products sold here is of type I haven't seen in a very long time. Prices are very reasonable, and they are very dependable. only if half of the businesses out there were like this... read more

When I called, they were able to give me a quote right away and were very understanding when I told them I'd call them back later in the day if I decided to use their business. Their quote was considerably less expensive than other places in this area so I called back and the nice man on the phone ordered my windshield so he could install it the next day. I showed up to the shop while he was at lunch but another man from the shop was there and reassured me that my car was in great hands. I came back a few hours later and the windshield was perfect. Thank you A1! read more

Got my rear passenger windows bashed in over night. I was in a bind and had no idea where to go and who to call. Luckily A1 is down the street from where I live. They usually have the window part that I need either same day or just a day later. They also install it and I would say their prices are on par with most other places; maybe a little cheaper sometimes. My only issue is that out of the 3 times I been there, 2 were great, but the most recent one they didn't install my side window correctly. read more

Mr. Al is a wonderful person. Honest humble compassionate. In a world filled with people who are after your money, this man has showed me that great business owners do exist. Windshield looks and feels like brand-new no leaks. I would go here again and deal only with the owner. The owner has called and apologized. Seems the man I thought was the owner and said he was the owner was only the manager.Service has improved immensely, the owner has called and has offered to fix the headliner and apologize several times. I really did not expect that. As I said in my previous review the windshield is perfect we have had it in rain we are on vacation now and it is holding up wonderfully. It was never my intent to hurt a small business.I believe if I could've talk to the owner this would not have happened as he appears to be very caring man and very conscientious about his business. He will fix her headliner when we get back from vacation at read more

Why im writing a bad review. I called the shop to ask if they have a window that I needed. The guy told me that he needs to check so he put me on hold until the point that he hung up. This happened 3 times. That was annoying. So instead of calling again, I walked in the shop. The guy behind the desk was talking on the phone, so I waited. When I got his attention he asked me what I needed and told him that I need a driver side window. While I was talking, he decided to answer the phone and take another other call. After his call with another customer, he tells me that I need to place an order first. First of all I dont even know if its on stock, never told me anything. Next, he didnt even tell me how long it will take for the window to get delivered and to be installed. All he told me is "you need to order a window and we will install it for you. The total will be $130". Don't recommend. Stay away. read more
