After my General Contractor took the payment, I had provided for replacing my wardrobe mirror…read moredoors, I was left without the installation. The contractor explained that he had not installed the doors because they were scratched. Seeking a solution, I reached out to Orange Mirror and Glass and spoke with Mike. He informed me that the doors should have been installed and later replaced if necessary. Mike promptly scheduled an appointment to take measurements for the new doors. Once the measurements were completed, I visited the showroom to explore available options. Although I originally had two mirrored doors, Mike recommended upgrading to a set of three mirrored glass doors. He explained that this would make the doors lighter and provide easier access to the closet. I agreed with his suggestion, and Mike prepared a detailed proposal, which he sent to me via email. Later that week, I received the proposal and was pleasantly surprised by the price. Orange Mirror and Glass quoted a cost that was 50% less than what my General Contractor had charged. I promptly signed the paperwork and paid half the amount via credit card to proceed with the order. On the day of installation, Orange Mirror and Glass arrived 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment time. I appreciated their punctuality, as it is uncommon for contractors to arrive early. The team removed my old, heavy mirror doors from 1973 and installed the new frameless doors efficiently within approximately 30 minutes. Based on this positive experience, I have decided that Orange Mirror and Glass will be my preferred glass company for all future projects.

Unfortunately for them the house had motion sensors, so once they were in they set it off forcing them to do a terrible job of stealing. I hope those a**-hats get caught! Luckily, she wasn't home at the time. No telling what they might have done to her if she'd been there and with the alarm disarmed. I was first on the scene as the alarm company contacted me just after the police. We needed to get the broken window replaced or boarded up asap for her to regain a sense of security, and it was going to rain the next morning. I called a different glass company, one that was close by. They told me they'd be to us in an house. 1 hour 20 minutes later I called back. I was told it would take them yet another hour. Ok. I held no loyalty to them, so I began calling a few more locations. One had a large yellow pages ad, but the phone number was disconnected. Another location that I knew was good was unable to fit us on their schedule for the day. Next I called Katella Glass & Mirror. Not only were they able to fit us in that day, their price was better than those I had contacted previously! I asked them to come down, they gave me an hour to do so. I then called the first company and cancelled my request. Their man arrived just about the time we expected him. Unfortunately, the glass he had was the wrong size (our fault, not his) so he needed to go back to the store to get the right size. About this time he talked with my aunt about other options. The glass being replaced was single paned, and very easy to break. He suggested she replace with a type of plastic, much harder to break. They would really have to work just to crack it. She agreed to it, but now we needed new pricing and were unsure if the product was in stock. He got back to the store, called her immediately with pricing for both a replacement glass and the harder to break plastic. The plastic was a little more, but she thought she would feel more secure. He came back out within 1/2 an hour to do the replacement. Thank you Katella Glass & Mirror for being prompt, courteous, helpful and affordable! I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family.
