Before the install happened, Humzah spent his time going over the different furnaces, time it takes to install, what to expect and full cost. He was very thorough and patient. We started looking at various companies before the peak time hit and received quotes from three places. Artisan came in with an extremely competitive price and I'm not going to lie, it made me a little nervous. I had read the reviews for Artisan on Yelp so I reached out to a couple of my fellow Yelpers to ask them about their satisfaction with the company. I knew they wouldn't fail me and of course, they didn't. We chose to go with Artisan and we were able to get scheduled surprisingly fast. Unfortunately, the day came and rain was in the forecast. When the two gentlemen showed up, they said they would only be able to do the indoor part of the work and would schedule to come back in the next day or two to finish. Thankfully, the weather held so they forged ahead and were able to get everything done. (Just in the nick of time too because the heavens opened up only minutes after they left!) The next few days were cool so we weren't able to test it out but then the heatwave hit and we were as cool as cucumbers! The gentlemen who came were extremely pleasant and they worked fast and efficiently. I'm very happy with the service we received from Artisan and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. #ServiceStarShoutOut

This week, another technician who repaired the stove pointed out that a plate was not covering the electrical wiring behind the stove's kick plate. So, for four years, my family and I were using a GAS stove with exposed wiring just behind the kick plate. The owner came by today with a "colleague" to "investigate." His colleague admitted that a plate should cover the exposed wiring. Rather than admit this grievous oversight, the owner offered up this absurd explanation: Someone else removed the plate in the four years since the original installation. No one removed the plate. No one. Why would anyone do that? He also claims that he installed a shut off valve. I have asked the TSSA to launch an investigation. Save yourself the risk and trouble my family has unknowingly endured for four years. I urge you to choose another contractor. The owner will no doubt respond to this warning with denials and accusations. You can believe him if you want to but, if you do, you will regret it.

The central air conditioner unit came with our house, built in 2000…read more In 2021, we purchased a brand new unit from Convertible. This year, 2025, we called them to report it was not working sufficiently: temp is set at 23, but the house registers 24.5 degrees! They want to charge $150 just to come out and inspect the problem. The original unit lasted approximately 20 years without an issue. This new Carrier unit installed by Convertible is just over 4 years old and it's unable to maintain a comfortable temperature of 23. Recent heat waves are a good test of the quality of an air conditioner unit, as well as the reliability of the company you hire when you need a new one. Disappointed in both!
