Doesn't matter if you've been a long term loyal customer. I've been waiting been for over 3 months (and with numerous follow up emails, phone calls) to get refund from Atlascare. Bought a new AC from AtlasCare a few years back, it has never worked. They send technicians to look at it relatively quick but it's a different person every time who has a different solution to fix the problem every time. Each technician says the one before was wrong. It's simply band aided and works for a few days before dying again. If you call in to speak to anyone you are connected quickly to agents who are working from home and can only request management will call you back in 1-3 business days. This is laughable, the call never comes no matter how hard you plead. I had been a huge supporter of this company and have used them for 20 years, but since they were bought the service has been horrific. I would not recommend using them under any circumstances unless you, like me, are stuck using them. read more

Atlas customer service is terrible. My air conditioner stopped working on July 1. Following two intense heat waves and days of record breaking dangerous air quality , I am still without an air conditioner. After a first no show appointment , as a result of "Sara" AI digital assistant's booking error, a technician attended and the problem was diagnosed. A new part was required. I made several calls with a simple request that I be given an estimated time when Atlas could expect the part. I received no call back. I have been a long standing customer of Atlas from whom I purchased the air conditioner. Under no circumstances would I recommend this company. read more

I sent in the request for a quote. The next day I had an emergency and they called. I was unable to answer the phone as I am dealing with an emergency and they called 9 times in 2 .5 days. REDICULOUS!!!!! AND I called and they said they would stop the calls and I received another one. WTF!!!!! read more

I signed up for Atlas Care's maintenance plan for an air conditioning system purchard from Atlas Care. The service technicians are very helpful when onsite. They shared that a maintenace plan was necessary for the parts warranty. I called in May 2026 to book the annual service appointment for summer 2026. I was given a date in June. The technician did not show up for the June appointment and we were rescheduled for July 24. This is unacceptable. You charge me an annual fee, I called at the beginning of the warmer season to book the appointment, and mid-summer is the earliest you can come. I have been using Atlas Care for over 5 years when you're paying to replace units, they are very responsive. When you are requesting maintenance after paying for annual service, they are no where to be found. read more

AtlasCare-REALLY-DON'T-CARE!! That's what they should be called. Hiring AtlasCare was a HUGE MISTAKE. I called them to replace a damaged SOLENOID (humidifer), and was told that I had to initially pay $170 for a diagnostic test to help identify the problem -- EVEN THOUGH I told them earlier that an Enercare tech said, "Waterflow + voltage fine. Solenoid is the issue." So, I paid ONLY because they said I could apply this $170 to the final repair bill. Uh-Ok. So after testing, they confirmed it was the solenoid. SURPRISE!!! THEN (of course, after I pay the $170) they try + fail to remove the damed solenoid, explaining that this is due to this particular mfr's design. Hmmmmm (Guess they didn't realize this earlier, huh??) So they quickly e-mailed me a $900 estimate for a new humidifier. Niiiiiiice! Forget that and I called a HVAC competitor, and OMG!! Miracles of miracles, this co. actually removed the damaged pc. and attached a new one. Just like that and all for the same price as the useless diagnostic test fee. AtlasCare-REALLY-DON'T-CARE !! They are fine unless something goes wrong, once they have your money they don't really care whether what they did was successful or misdiagnosed. They owe me a few thousand dollars in damages I would say. I'm not quite sure what to do. I call them daily, no one ever calls me back. I have spent over $20,000 with them, you'd think I'd be considered someone worthy of a phone call. Gonna get a lawyer. read more

I dropped my 22 year membership with them due to lack of urgency to fix my furnace in Mid-winter.They keep getting resold.New Owners don't staff properly or keep Inventory of parts.2-5 week reorders. Shame that their business has taken such a dive !!!! read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I experienced while trying to resolve a simple warranty issue. I first contacted customer service on Februray 26th, and after explaining the issue, I was told that my request would be reviewed and that I would receive a callback within a few days. That callback never came. I followed up again on March 16th, went through the entire explanation process a second time, and was once again assured that someone would get back to me shortly. The only follow-up was a system generated email that gave me a quote on replacing my item with a far inferior model that was not a part-for-part warranty replacement. I made a third call on March 18th, and at that point expressed my frustration about the lack of communication. I was reassured yet again that my case would be escalated and that I would definitely hear back. Unfortunately, that promise was also not kept. The fourth call was made on March 20th with the same outcome as above. It has now been 4 weeks since the initial service follow up, and I have still not received any response regarding a straightforward warranty replacement. The most frustrating part of this experience is not just the delay, but the complete lack of follow-through and accountability. Being told multiple times that someone will call back--and then being ignored each time--is unacceptable. At this point, I have very little confidence in the company's customer service or its commitment to standing behind its warranty. read more

I hired Atlas Plumbing to fix a clogged bathtub drain. The guy snaked it out with no success. He said that the ceiling in the front hall, kitchen and garage would have to ripped out to get at the pipes. It was going to cost $4,000 in plumbing costs and then several thousand to fix the ceilings which he admitted would not look good since the new and old ceiling finish would be different. After the plumber left I noticed that he had scratched my new front door when his tool chest hit the door. The door was several thousand dollars. After he left I got a cute tip and started poking around in the bathtub drain and was able to extract a huge wad of hair. Now the drain works perfectly. I suggest that you avoid this company since this guy was totally useless! read more

Installed a AtlasCare AC unit last fall, first time we use it this year with the Heat wave and its leaking at the valves (Frost Build up). Booked an appt to repair and the day comes, they cancel and now we have to wait almost two weeks for a technician. Poor service!! read more

Do not use this company. They lied about what was wrong with my furnace (said the motor and someone about a coupling releasing Co2 was gone but it was only the fan motor.) Then the salesperson came and tried to sell me a furnace for $7800 - the same furnace installed was 4K elsewhere. But it wasn't only that - the salesman and another he had on the phone tried to bully me into buying the furnace on the spot. They refused to take no for an answer and were more than pushy. It was more than stressful and really really greasy. Don't use them. they have their scamming process all figured out and prey on people who are not well prepared or knowledgable in the area of furnaces. They practically wanted me buy it on the spot - i had to kick the guy out of my house. If you get into a contract with them, you will be sorry because they will be ripping you off for years. read more

Do not use. My furnace broke and they delayed a repair to try to get me to buy a new furnace from them (while I was without heat). Their repair cost was also much higher than the cost of the repair with another shop. read more

I would be extremely careful if you hire this company, because they will definitely try to rip you off. On July 12th, 2024, a gentleman from Atlas Care came to my daughters condo to change a Moen cartridge in her shower. He was there for less than 30 minutes and charged us $458.78 for the work, which was ridiculous since all Moen parts are lifetime warranty, so there should be no cost for the part. We do realize part of the charge should be for his services, but with what he charged the cost for his services would be approx. $917.00/hr which is absolutely ridiculous. But the worst part was he tried to tell us that the problem still was not fixed and for him to complete the job, it would cost us an additional $1500. We said no and had another plumber check for the second issue and there was no issue. Since the cartridge has been changed there has been no further issues with the shower. If I could rate this company less than zero, I would. read more

If possible get 3 quotes otherwise you will fall prey to extreme price gouging from Atlas. My furnace broke down on the coldest day of the year and I could not get anyone other than Atlas. They over charged me by 100% based on my research after the fact. TIP - use space heaters, etc to keep warm till you get those quotes - same applies to A/C - sweat it out for a couple of days - you will save $$$ thousands. On a positive note their installers are experienced and polite - only time will tell if the equipment installed stands up. read more

I am so delighted with Atlas I decided to write my first review. I bought a replacement furnace from them a few years ago and was really pleased with the service and quality -- and impressed at how loyal their employees were. So when my A/C stopped working yesterday I sent them a "hail mary" request at 6pm - expecting to have to live with a very hot house for at least one night. I had an immediate call back and a really competent, polite service person was at my door before 8! He was able to identify the issue, fix it on the spot and made no effort to upsell me! He said Atlas wants to live up to 24/7 and he was happy to do it. I heard the same thing I had heard from the furnace people - he believes his employer treats him well and he is happy to work there. I mention this because I think that is Atlas's "secret sauce" - it appears they treat their employees well and have a great team as a result. I will need a new A/C sometime soon but this gives me a little time to plan - and I will certainly turn to Atlas when that time comes. read more

Spent a huge amount of money having a new heating and air conditioning system put in my home in June. They have not done what they said they would do at most steps along the way. In fact after five follow up visits to my home over three months, I ran out of hot temperatures to even see if they have rectified the problem with my air conditioning. I find their communications is horrible, they take weeks to respond, sometimes never, but they're always click quick to say how difficult it is for them during Covid. I understand that but five trips over three months to fix a system that I paid 30% more for that I would've if I had gone to somebody else is ridiculous. Absolutely loved the prompt service provided by AtlasCare. Our furnace went a week after moving into our new place in Richmond Hill, gave AtlasCare a call and the problem was fixed. Their staff are polite, educated in their field, and will explain anything you need them to so you know exactly what is happening. Last Saturday morning my furnace stopped working. I called the emergency number at 8:30 am, heard from in call service person within 15 minutes to set up appointment.
