Blistering paint due to poor prep work; tape left on fireplace and ceiling; paint drips along fireplace; missing strike plates from two doors; did not use painter's tape in kitchen, dining and living room so the paint leaked onto grout and tile; missed painting portions of pantry door; used masking tape on door hardware leaving glue and paint behind; photos of bathroom ceiling abutting wall ceiling texturing; duct tape used to hold plastic sheeting which took off paint on door; and bed frames, ceiling fan, door knobs, smoke alarm, security alarm, vertical blinds and mattress and box spring - items not assembled and replaced before walking out on contract. Barron Restorations with indow inserts to the rescue! Dan from Barron Restorations was able to measure and provide us with a quote. It was quick and less than half the cost of replacing the windows entirely. These inserts not only block out the heat in the summer and cold drafts in the winter, but also block sounds from the street and our neighbors. It was the perfect solution and you can't even tell there are removable inserts on the windows. (I would take a picture, but you really can't tell there is anything on the window) This is seriously a great solution if you have a few drafty windows and don't want to dump a ton of money on getting new windows for your whole house. Dan works quickly and is super friendly. I'll be recommending him to any of my neighbors experiencing the same issues we did.
