My dog has never looked better after visiting a groomer! My kitty was getting awfully matted and they had her done in about 20 minutes. I can tell she is much more comfortable now. They really make sure your animals have as little stress as possible by keeping dogs well separated if needed and schedule kitties at a later time when the shop is quieter. They also take note and let you know of any lumps or bumps they find. Great experience and money well spent! I did have some trouble finding it, it is set back a little from the street, look for the taco truck! On the way there, I got so frazzled from the one way streets and it was rush hour (as much as GJ has one) and it made my kitty throw up in her carrier. I was on the verge of tears and they were so sweet to volunteer to clean out her carrier too! I don't think I can say enough good things about them! Also, one of the reviews says cash or check only, but I used my debit card both times no problem.

Normally a cat who loves to be held & cuddled, brushing is not his thing! So 2 - 3 times a year he goes to see Sara. Getting him into the carrier, he starts screaming, and it continues on the short drive to Chow Down Pet Supplies. Every customer is alerted to his arrival. Once in Sara's room, he calms down. Milo loves her! I help to hold legs as she shaves and combs him. Returning home, nails clipped and usually with a Mohawk "do", he has a spring in his step, and shows off to his girl cat housemates.

Not so sure if you have other animals, although we've gotten things out of the bird aisle (steptic powder for one of our chickens) and the reptile aisle (thermometer/humidity guage for our incubator). Employees are mostly helpful. Haven't used the grooming services for a few years, so not sure about that, but it used to be good (maybe 2-3 years ago).

I'm new to living with a cat and needed some advice on cat food. It took me a good 10 minutes just to find someone willing to help. The first employee said he knew nothing about cat food and walked away. I asked another employee, and she said, "I only sell stuff here," and walked away too. When I followed her and asked about pet carriers, she showed me their pathetic selection of two, told me how poor it was, and busied herself with something else. I thought I was in some surreal comedy. I went to the cashier, asked if a manager was around and whether I should take my business elsewhere. She nodded yes, and I left. Whoever manages this store has absolutely no business managing anything. How does a place like this even stay in business? What an awful, utterly worthless store and a complete waste of prime retail space. I will never set foot in there again, and I strongly suggest you don't waste your time either.

I stopped by at 2:30 and could see my anxious dog was finally on the grooming table. I was told that 'We will call when he is done', and it's now 3:40 and I'm worried about my dog. I tried to call before 2:30, but you only get somebody's recording and there is no way to contact them on the phone. This is why I went there in person. I felt that I was treated rudely today. The last time he was groomed the pads were cut. I called and talked to the groomer and told her the problem and she denied cutting his pads. I told her I could tell they were cut she said she would talk to the owner. I called back and talk to the owner myself because they never returned my call. The owner said that only she could do the grooming, then. I said that sounded fine. Today I had an appointment and I just got a call saying they didn't want my dog back again because I complained. Not sure what the point of that was. I also didn't get a picture for two of the days, even though I was on that plan. I am extremely disappointed. And had at least *some* hope of a better 2nd experience. We won't be back. Please reconsider if your dog is a barker, or puller.
