I typically only write reviews when I have a lot of positive things to say. I don't want to influence people negatively. However - I want to write this to save any other bride this experience. When initially inquiring for these services, I was drawn to the website, pictures and Linda's acclaimed level of experience. However, I immediately started questioning things when first working with her but had already given a $200 non refundable deposit. When scheduling my hair trial, I was quoted a price and told to come to Linda's shop on a certain date and time. Being that my now husband and my live two hours away we had to get a hotel. Minutes before leaving Orlando, I text Linda to confirm our appointment for the next morning. She text back that she had a colonoscopy appointment the next morning - she asked to reschedule but ended up coordinating the hair stylist she assigned to come to my hotel room. At the conclusion of my trial, that went okay at best, I was told I owed more than I was originally quoted. Emailing Linda all the way to the wedding was frustrating. She would often reask questions repeatedly, change prices and constantly change information. My initial hairstylists father got sick and requested to go see him instead of doing the wedding (which absolutely makes sense to me), linda told me "she understood parents are important, but so is my wedding" and went into say she didn't think it was acceptable for her to miss my wedding. She asked that if hairstylist #1 was to contact me, to not answer and redirect her to Linda for that she didn't want her upsetting me?? Meanwhile let's remember it is her father who may be passing, not mine... She ended up finding me another hairstylist and said she would do my hair trial for free the day before the wedding. Hairstylist #2 was excellent to work with and such a sweetheart. However, she didn't know that I had already had a hair trial and that is why it was free. She also stated she didn't hear of the father being sick but rather that hairstylist #1 had quit. She confirmed she sent Linda the number of girls getting hair and the number of hairs getting make up. This is where it gets really insane... 1030pm the night before my wedding, she text me saying we owe her $580 because girls did not pay for their hair. I immediately called her to say that everyone in fact paid, she stated she didn't understand why I was getting so upset since it wasn't "my money" that was paying the balance. I sent her screenshots of my moms statement for $280, to which Linda denied ever seeing and said everyone was now paid in full? Sketchy. Then on the day of, the make up artist stated she was told it was 6 girls for make up (it was 3) and we later didn't realize until a half hour was left for my make up after she took 1-2 hours on the girls -- come to find out, she was told she has an extra hour, despite several emails to Linda about absolutely needing to be done by 1pm..
