Bob was very honest, friendly and professional when I misdiagnosed the problem and took my hose for repair or replacement. After checking the hose he indicated that the hose was ok. We renovated our basement few months back and my contractor was not able to turn on central vacuum outlets. Very Painful. He tried few guys known to him but 2+ months passed by. If you are looking to get a vacuum I would NOT get Bissell they do NOT even stand by their products. I bought a Shed-Away and it did not work they said my vacuum must not be full powered. I had already explained my vacuum was Bissell and I had it for less than TWO MONTHS and they response was they couldn't help me. I will NEVER buy Bissell again because not only have their product not been satisfactory but they do not even care enough about the customer. read more

Our Hoover carpet steam cleaner has seen us through a lot - including a flooded basement in July 2013! The intake hose cracked, and we found out that Hoover had discontinued the replacement parts. We hated to throw our unit, still in great condition, into landfill! One call to Bob and he had a solution for a very reasonable price. Also had Dyson filters cheaper than their website! I brought my vaccuum in a couple months ago and had no issues with the repair they did under warranty. I had to bring it back for the same reason last week. I received a call, and was told by the manager I would have to replace the new parts they had put in, because he said they're defective. I asked why I should have to pay and he kept referring me to speak with Hoover. When I kept trying to dig a bit deeper, he became rude and disrespectful with me. I asked to speak with the owner and was told I'd have to call back. The Manager called back, saying he said he would send through a request to Hoover to have my vaccuum looked at again, saying because its a recurrent issue. When I tried to inquire further about who I should speaking to (manufacturer or store) he told me I didn't need to know anything and said it would take 4-6 weeks for it to be looked at. I asked again to speak to the owner. The owner came to the phone and told me I was wasting their time, and to come and pick up my vaccuum. I attempted to explain why I asked to speak to him, but he continued to cut me off, raise his voice and demand that I come and pick up my vaccuum if I didn't like their service. Needless to say I'll be picking up my vaccuum and reporting them to the BBB. read more
