She was on time, despite being rerouted to Rt 51 due to a multi-vehicle accident. Her charge, including waiting at the vet, were less than I'd planned to give to a neighbor had she been available. Plus, she's a good listener and loves my dog! I'm so happy. (Wondering: with Walmart delivery, and Barbie, do I need a vehicle?)

Jay Ferguson and Taylor-Made Real Estate are the best! Jay…read moresold our condo in record time and made it a pleasant experience to boot. From day one Jay told us " I am going to sell your home," and there was an offer on the table less than 8 hours after the house was listed. Jay had a thorough understanding of pricing trends in our community and of the strengths of our unique condominium development before the unit went on the market. The results : our unit sold faster than almost any other home in our community that had been listed over the past five years by other agents. It also sold at a higher price than most if not all of those same units. Jay and his wonderful, friendly staff at Taylor-Made have created a digital marketing juggernaut. They take the time to get it right the first time and are very effective in making sure potential buyers easily find your home online with listings that have accurate information and are showcased on eye-catching web pages. Jay is honest and straightforward. Jay never made a promise he did not deliver on. Jay is also an expert negotiator. We always felt he was looking out for our best interest first. His excellent support staff (including Megan, Susan and Ally) were also tremendously helpful and friendly. Jay very patiently walked us through all the steps we needed to take to sell our home. Jay was readily available to answer any questions we had or to update us on any developments regarding our contract. His knowledge and acumen are second to none. Jay is just a great upbeat guy and a pleasure to work with. He is also a cool cucumber. Selling a home can be a stressful situation at times but thanks to Jay's people skills he always kept things on an even keel. Everything Jay does is deliberate and has purpose. Jay truly is there to serve his clients and understands that the best way to increase his own business is thru exceeding his client's expectations which he definitely did in our case. I would recommend Jay to anyone who is considering selling or buying a home. He is one of the hardest working, most positive, talented and honest professionals we have had the pleasure to work with in any field, anywhere. While there are a lot of good agents in Western Maryland Jay is in a class of his own. Jay is setting a new standard for superior real estate service at Deep Creek Lake. We were very lucky to have Jay and his team in our corner. I promise you will feel the same if you choose him as your real estate agent!

Bathroom clearly not cleaned between guests, hair on floor, mouse droppings behind all furniture throughout the house.. We had to clean the comforter as they were badly soiled, but had to clean the washer and dryer first to clean bedding. This place has really gone down hill over the years. They do not show the shower/bath in photos, and most photos are very old online(not current). The shower has multiple holes in it, just filled poorly with caulk and plenty of mold. Did not appear to be dusted in months as well. Called and spoke to owners and rental management. Both apologized and stated they would take care of it and reimburse us appropriately. Guess what, been 4 weeks with no response from them. That is plenty of time. Will not use again.

The property is family owned and they live on site. Communication for booking and up until your stay is great and check in is a breeze. The room with the ice machine between rooms 102 and 103 have a few extra towels and Toiletries available incase you need anything after hours. They only have 10 rooms and a parking spot assigned for each room with several extra guest spots. Right across the street there is a liquor store and a restaurant (currently vacant restaurant as of 2/2024). While visiting with the restaurant there, it was nice to have a spot for a quick bite. I highly recommend The Garrett Inn as they are consistent, well priced and just an overall wonderful experience.
