Similar to other customers experiences, County Caravan was incredibly rude and unsupportive. They told us multiple times that they had secured the date for our wedding, but one week ahead of the wedding, they told us that the contract would no longer be serviced due to changes (we added 4 people and 1 hotel stop). We asked if we could simply pay extra for the added guests and were told that "Management decided to no longer offer service to us." We checked with Deep Creek Shuttle and thankfully they saved us in a pinch. We should have seen it coming, because every time we emailed to follow up, they would not respond. So we would call and they would assure us that the date was saved for us but still not send a contract. The first contract they sent was one week before our wedding, and when I clarified that the contract was not accurate, they said they would no longer offer service. I had to call to ask what they meant and they told us that they would not help us. I know the owner will post a response disagreeing because they tried to tell us we were wrong throughout the process. It was all a mess. Now that our event is over, we are honestly so happy with the way things turned out, because we received much better (and kinder) service with DC Shuttle. I would never recommend County Caravan to anyone after the horrible customer service we received. Save yourself the hassle and just go with Deep Creek Shuttle. read more

From my first call with County Caravan at the end of July til our date of service on October 2, I found Sia to be both courteous and helpful. I had called looking for service in the Ohiopyle area for 14 bikers needing transportation on an off day riding the GAP trail. Sia initially helped me in considering closer options but I eventually came back to County Caravan as other options were non-responsive or inadequate. We eventually agreed on a contract and they delivered everything agreed upon and the driver Michael went above and beyond in driving us from Ohiopyle to Fallingwater, stopping for lunch and then on to the Flight 93 memorial. This made for a full day and Michael was very flexible in working with us as the day went and schedules shifted a bit. I was a bit concerned how this would all work out but I could not have been more pleased. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone else needing transportation in the area. read more

We decided to go with "Deep Creek Shuttle Service". On short notice, and with much better customer service: they were life savers who did none of the things I am about to describe. Deep Creek Shuttle Service is far superior to County Caravan County Caravan jerked us around for months while saying it would be no problem for them to do transportation for our wedding. The day after we dropped off the deposit, they told us we broke a many month old contract that we never signed. They then proceeded to tell us (with some of the worst customer service I have ever witnessed) that they already have another wedding booked. It seems like they overbooked their weekend, and needed an excuse to get rid of us. read more

We used County Caravan to shuttle our wedding guests from the ceremony site at Wisp Resort to our reception space at a Railey Vacation Home in Deep Creek Maryland. Sia and the other County Caravan team members were very responsive and helped to streamline the shuttling service timeline. We even got to meet up with one of their team members 2 days before the wedding to talk logistics and to put my mind at ease. I will say, however, that adding one additional minivan for the shuttling of my grandparents back to the resort was a bit pricy ($200) and was an unexpected cost. The only reason I am giving two stars is because when reserving a shuttle for a Friday night for a bachelorette party I was planning whoever I talked to on the phone was so helpful and accommodating. Our shuttle driver ruined our experience though. He was beyond rude to our party. He went as far as not allowing us to physically get off the shuttle at the end of the night until he had money in his hand. I asked multiple times if he wanted the money at the beginning or end of the night and he was OK with the end of the night but when it came down to it he was completely rude and unprofessional. I was seated at the back of the bus and physically couldn't give him the money until everyone in front of me got off. His demeanor and attitude towards me and our party was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We used for a bachelorette party and we called to get the taxi and they gave us 20 minute time frame they never showed up to pick us up after two hours and the taxi driver did not answer any of our phone calls. When we called the business they told us they were "on their way". We had to have two trips from our friends to get home and when we called the company to get they said they would give us a refund but when we called the next day they argued with us and told us we "were too drunk" and didn't know what we were talking about. I called this company to plan our drive, from the house to the venue and back home. Their driver, Chris, was early to pick us up both times and was a safe driver. We were very stressed about timing, as some family members wanted to stay as late as possible, while some of the older ones worried that they wouldn't last that long. I asked about this the morning of the wedding, and the owner went above and beyond to make sure those who needed to leave early were taken care of when the time came. I can't say enough great things about Country Caravan! I had no idea that such a great transportation company was located right here at Deep Creek Lake. They showed up within minutes and got me out of a real pickle. They even accommodated my dogs who I had no way of transporting. The driver said that they could handle any kind of fare. Airport trips to Pittsburgh, sightseeing trips to WV, taking the elderly to appointments, late night runs to the bars etc. Vehicles are clean, drivers friendly and they even have a bus for tour groups.
