This review is for an informative conversation with Mike - not actual work being done:…read more I called on a Saturday morning to inquire about installing a woodstove using an existing chimney that has a less-than perfect flue / flue tiles. Mike was friendly and took the time to offer very detailed and great advice and ideas despite no longer working with wood stoves himself. A+.

Though he specializes in wood fireplaces and would not be able to assist with my request at this time, he spent quite some time on the phone with me answering the many questions I had about my fireplace, and how I might be able to get it up to snuff. So rare to find a professional who is willing to give such detailed advice with no monetary gain for himself, and it was very obvious that he really knew what he was talking about. I may change my fireplace to a wood burner at a future date, and if I do, I will absolutely give this man my business. My gut tells me that anyone else wouldn't regret doing the same. I recommend Strictly Chimneys for sure!

We decided to install a wood insert in our fireplace and they provided the dimensions so that we could shop for the insert we wanted and order it for them to install. Once the insert and surround were delivered, the team came out and professionally installed the new liner, insert, surround and backplate as well as a new chimney cap and cemented areas of the chimney that needed it. Once the install was complete, Tom came the next day for final inspection. Prime Chimney was very respectful of our home, cleaned up afterwards and answered any questions we had. We will definitely use Prime Chimney for all our fireplace needs going forward and highly recommend!!

What an amazing experience!…read more We had heavy water damage at the top of our chimney and needed it fixed. The Neighborhood Chimney team took care of us from start to finish - which was no easy task given I have OCD. This was also a huge challenge given the original brick is around 100 years old and no longer made anywhere - so the NC team had great recommendations and worked closely with us on design. My main problems: 1) No permit pulled and I had to use leverage from the town permit department to get this done. 2) The old smoke smell still remains. 3) They dumped whatever they were using (mostly cement with chemicals: hard smelling), behind my house, in my yard, and l had to push for someone to come and remove some of it. I'm still worried because I have a well. 4) The workers were leaving before they finished one piece of work in the basement. I caught it on time.
